It's so great to see your enthusiasm for this line. Indeed, Valaverse has done a great job, but man, the comics! They are really well written and illustrated! They pulled me into this world so effectively. I really hope it ends up being a regular comic book series to compliment this amazing figure line.
Thanks for the great video. I've been really enjoying your videos and look forward to your review of this Action Force series. I wasn't familiar with these, but they look great! Definitely need to get some, or all of them. Lol
Just pre ordered my sgt slaughter … can’t wait till he releases some snow troops, also would love to see a pack of different heads to make multiple characters of the same body type, and female figures as well.
These look awesome! But I remember when Motu Origins,Neca and some Super 7 got bashed for having to use a hairdryer on parts..so how many of these joints broke that we don't know about?
@@AnalogToys ok, one joint isn't bad. I just got concerned when I saw the hairdryer video from Bobby and now this one..thought something major was going on. But yea, these look great...gotta get me a Rat!
@@troubledturtle2332 yea. Ive never had legends need attention, but I thought it was pretty cool my black suit superman from macfarlane, it had lubed joints on it..in the shoulders and hips joints was a little bit of oil...moved the joints around, cleaned off the oil, posed it on the shelf, done. But I didn't know they did that, that's awesome
@@robbieracer3294 I didnt know Mcfarlane did that ,havent bought anything from them in years. One company I know for sure Ive had stiff joints from on a regular basis is Diamond Select .
A comprehensive tutorial video from Analog Toys, to help collectors with any minor, factory fresh, joint problems that may occur with their new Valaverse Action Force figures. And the only reason why Tony needs a hairdryer ! :)
When I was 7, I got G1 Megatron for my birthday, but within 24 hours his arm broke off. Even though I'd done nothing abnormal to the figure, at the time I thought it was my fault, Decades later, I now know I was 100% gaslighting myself. Now I'm sure not all figures in the Action Force line are like that, and it's great that there are ways to avoid damage, but it's not your fault it broke mate.
wow. the only modern figs I collect are figuarts star wars, but I might have to pick a few of these up! will there be a cartoon series to market the figs? thanks 🙂
These look amazing and I for one appreciate the tutorials that you and Bobby have put together. I would really like to see some independent completely unbiased opinions of these figures but I'm sure once collectors get these in hand those videos will be everywhere.
@@AnalogToys c'mon mate, Bobby gave you a figure in wave 2 and seems to be a really good friend of yours. No shade to you as a reviewer, but for balance if nothing else I'd like to see other opinions.
I find hot tap water works fine for loosening joints, but boiling water works best for straightening joints and have them stay straight over time once cooled.
Nice! Damn, those figures look good! Can't wait to get mine. I just typically use my stove top. I know this sounds crazy or risky but works like a charm within seconds (5-10 from my experience). I turn one of the coils on to max so it heats up quick, turn it back to maybe 4 and hold 6 to 12 inches above. I typically start at that 12 inch mark to see if that does the trick, sometimes it does and then others got get a little closer. Obviously remove all gear or anything that might fall onto the hot coil and don't get your hand to close or hold over the heat too long so to not burn yourself. I've never had this problem because you'll know, or should, by the way you feel the heat. You shouldn't have to get that close though, I never have for this method to work. This does the trick if you don't have a hair dryer or heat gun, etc. I don't know if I'd use a gas stove with an open flame but that'd probably work fine as long as you keep your distance. I have an electric stove, hence the mention of coils. Ultimately it's all about getting some heat on the figure where needed. Good video as alway Desert Rat and thanks for looking out!
@@AnalogToys Haha! It does work and I've never damaged the figures or myself. Just best to start higher up, hold there 5-10 seconds, test the joint and lower if need be. Haha! I understand though!
The amount of comments in this video about “why does Tony have a hairdryer”…even though this entire video is about him explaining how to warm up figures with a hairdryer… 🤦🏻♂️
@@AnalogToysall the videos im seeing on this line are about potential QC issues. I do appreciate the honesty and the heads up. I need to see some more reviews of the finished product tbh. It just seems that Valaverse is anticipating defective or damaged products coming in.
These look AMAZING Tony. Awesome tutorial as well...but I have one question..... Tony, Why do you even OWN a Hair Dryer?!??! Have a great day, and I can't wait to see the full review.
Tony the Valaverse Action Force figures look even better than they did in the promo photos if such a thing is possible, I have quite a few on preorder, I think I’m gonna get more now, credit to Bobby Vala for an excellent looking 6 inch military toy line 👍
You finally have use for a hair dryer hey ;p On the positive side of things with your broken hand Steel Brigade figure, at least it was an army builder it happened to so if you buy another so you have one complete you can still use the first one with different hands on to build up a unit.
Depends on the plastic. But in most cases, you want to warm up the crooked or warped part with warm water, straighten it, and then immediately dunk it in ice water to firm up the plastic again.
Would it be possible for Mr. Vala to send you a replacement hand? As a customer relations move it would really go a long way toward building goodwill in the collector community.
@@uphilliceskater Excellent, thank you for the recommendation and expected price range. That's a lot less than one figure, so it will definitely be worth the investment!
Tony certainly doesn't need me to vouch for him, but I'm sitting here opening my own Action Force figures while watching this and this works like a charm. I hope everyone's Action Force figures get to them soon and that you enjoy them even a fraction as much as I am. I didn't know what Action Man/Action Force was a year ago, but I am absolutely in love with this line, I can only imagine Tony's excitement. Can't wait for the full review!

Oh god they look good up close can't w8 to get mine. Hopefully I don't break mine. I have to get me one those swarm troopers as I passed on them along with extra steel brigades
Perhaps it’s been asked and answered before, but why 6inches and not 3.75? I remember my AF figures and vehicles with a passion - one day my mom made a bag of them and gave them away. So I’d have preferred the 3.75 scale. But perhaps I’m also completely wrong and this has nothing to do with the AF of 30+ years ago!
