Some of the best guitarists in the world, who have been playing decades longer than she has, would readily admit that they cannot perform some of the same feats on the fretboard that she can. She is a once in a lifetime virtuoso on the guitar. The combination of her talent, feel, speed, accuracy, dexterity and complexity is truly a gift from God. I know we’re not supposed to say this, but she's performing these covers better than some of the guitar legends who wrote them.
For the love of God, Moonlight Sonata 3rd movement, Arpeggios from Hell, Fire and Flames (she picks a lot more than H. Li. who hammers and pulls many of the Notes)
Wow. I just stumbled on this by accident. First time seeing you play and I'm blown away. Great comment. I feel that way about Tal wilkenfeld. I have been playing bass for 30 years and I am good in both upright and electric, straight forward fundamentals. Then a young person comes along whose soul and style are beyond nearly everyone on the planet that plays.

One of my favorite pieces on guitar. Vai, amazing in his prime. That was awesome....note for note. Talented and pretty. I'm sure that took a bit to dissect. 😎✌🤘🙏🙏♥️
What I don't get is how accurately and equally expressive she is able to play all these songs, like what was your practice routine to get to this level of accuracy and ability all in one?! 🤯
This girl is incredible. Almost robotic. Every other young player I've watched makes the occasional mistake. She never does. She's the type who follows the mantra "Don't practice till you get it right, practice until you never get it wrong."
Been watching Tina and with all my heart I hope she will show the world more of her incredible talent and take it to the stratosphere and beyond, she is a beautiful young lady with what seems effortless talent ...
Yes, it seems "effortless" to us, yet we can only imagine the effort, the perseverance it took to learn to play this piece - and all the others - without relenting to: "That's good enough." What an impressive person Tina is.
Hmm I don't know, I don't even see a whammy on the guitar. I see a reflection of something next to her elbow that moves around as she moves the guitar but no whammy that I can see.
I decided to start watching some girls play 'lead guitar,' just to see how well they play... their wrist movements are different and have smaller fingers... well some!.... I don't have an excuse in the world now.... some of these girls ,and I say girls because they are so young! .... I have watched some amazing stuff.... and they don't seem to make all the 'facial' expressions such as Santana, Hendrix, Vai, to name a few... I like people's 'facial expressions' when playing... it is part of 'feeling they are getting at the time. David ( Gilmour ) doesn't make many... but PF just used to go on stage in T-shirts... no fancy costumes! but great stage shows! good on ya' girls, you have amazed me!
It'll take some time. This is for sure 10/10 on difficulty. I can play some pretty hard stuff on guitar, sweep pick nicely but I can't do this at this point in time.
i can even try to learn this arepeggio , but for learning this , i should learn basis , cause for making this i suppose you have to learn all the teorhy behind ... i mean this arpeggio is like the end school exam , but for making an exam , you have to study all the year ... jeezz , i would like to learn really a lot this one , cause it's amazing and i remember when i saw the movie with steve vai and ralph macchio i was blown away ... super cool
sure ? because i could try ... i play van halen quite easily ( i hope ) but ... this steve vai thing , i tryed it a lot of times and never made as good as i nthe video here . i mean i can play but i t look like i play as a beginner .. .btw , i wil ltry again , cause i never give up , i always try ! thanx for the advice :-)
BlackWolfgang70 Steve Vai, Satch, Malmsteem are all extremely advanced guitarist and use super hard skills. It will take Probably 1-2 years of exercises to get advanced legato and sweep picking down to be able to play those guys stuff. For me sweep picking isn't that hard, but advanced legato is hard because I had not worked much on it like I did on sweep picking.
This girl is amazing... I am a guitarist myself and I have found that there are ranks within the guitar world. Knowing chords and scales makes you a "beginner"... this is where you start and even the start is no easy task. There are literally millions that know how chords and scales work. The next is when you can make your own variations within chord progressions and scales.."Adept" . The next is the Master...this is achieved through an almost literal transformation..."where you FEEL the music itself" Some people call this a "gift" and rightly so..because there are many who cannot learn this...You can memorize other peoples songs, play them flawlessly and still not touch the "feel" of the original..very few can. Not to sound crazy but old timers called it "soul" when you actually put your soul into the sounds themselves... People say Jimi Hendrix was overrated and scoffed at his distorted mixtures while others thought he was a demi-god on guitar...there is no doubt there are allot of variations out there but you will know when someone has "soul" in their music... David Gilmore was the oppostite of Jimi through clean edge solos with flawless feel to them..and I could name many more with different feels to them... Not to go on and on I would explain it even more simplistic... Most people are distinguished by the sound of their vocal chords...but when the person puts emotion and feeling into what they say they no longer become boring and monotone but rather interesting and unique.... This girl has in my book reached the adept phase at an almost impossible age...and to encourage her and support her is perhaps a way to unlock something that you and I could only dream to attain..
you can see it starting to show in her "Dreamtheatre" clip...watch the emotion and feel she puts into it...even her body language shows her soul is genuinely expressed through her playing.
I somewhat agree yes, anyone with tab and a metronome could master this in a few weeks of constant practice... this being if you have already become "Adept". I certainly do not consider myself a "Master" I have had the "Gift" since youth. Whilst I do not play classical music or attempt at "super guitarists material" I FEEL and can put my soul into my music... mostly blues and rock. However that is not nearly as complicated as this classical piece. I would like to acknowledge your comment as very good with just one extra note. I can play some mean blues and I wouldn't hesitate to take the stage with any accomplished blues player but I think this kid can do much more than what she shows here. Love guitar but after watching this maybe, after 38 yrs I should just play on the porch with my old dog and a glass of whiskey. Nice comment sir. She is gonna make it to the Feel part sooner than we did.
Amazing response for an epic performance. I agree 100% just goes to show, no matter how good you think you may be , there’s someone that will always motivate you!!
yeah I know. Some people haven't experienced learning a really difficult song yet by playing slower to a metronome or backing track first. You can learn anything if you slow it down a lot and then slowly build up. But most people just watch a performance like this and think, "I can't move my hand that fast and accurate! I quit!" And they're right, they can't right then, but once it's locked in your muscle memory you can speed up
Express your thoughts all you want commenters, but never use any insults on Tina. Even if you're professional musicians, please give her respect and support. She is only 17 years of age and can play so well. I've seen several commenters that criticize her because they thought that she "lacks emotion" or "just shreds" which isn't true whatsoever. She always uses musical emotion to her playing. Vibrato, melody, precision, and bends are the major signs to playing with feel and she's been using those wonderfully. Even if there are videos of her playing fast parts of the covers, there are also slower parts of the songs that she played such as Becker, Vai, Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, Yngwie, Dragonforce, Metallica, and Megadeth. Not all of her videos are of her playing fast solos, there are videos of her playing slow ones such as AC/DC, Gary Moore, Pink Floyd, and Slash. Also, in her pre-electric guitar videos, she's doing classical guitar techniques in some videos such as free-stroke and rest-stroke and she's done finger styling in other videos. Many people are saying that they'd love to hear her original songs and I would too, but we just have to give her some time and let her decide if she wants to or not and I don't think she has to do that. Since I once heard that she's a student at musical history, composition, and theory and has been getting straight A's, I'm sure one day she'll make masterpieces and she'd make an amazing composer. If any commenter disagrees with me, it's their own opinion and it's okay to express their feelings, but calling her any insulting words are flat out unacceptable. She's one of the greatest female guitar teenagers that began as child guitarists and someday, she can be one of the best guitarists ever in reality and she's one of my favorite players and one of the greatest players in my book.
@@j_freed Yeah. It seems to be her preferred tone as I've seen her do a Gary Moore cover (the Loner) which also had too much gain for my taste. But that's a personal thing, I can completely appreciate the skill levels on show here. I wish I had that level of ability. That said I've often thought Gary Moore's live tone was too harsh as well. So I'm obviously the problem
It’s crazy how this girl are pretty much reached a legendary status as a RUclipsr. There are people who are good, like Lisa x, she is good. But Tina, a master. Good job!
Different musical pieces are performed DIFFERENTLY! What is wrong with some people? I bet she could do almost anything with the exception of, well, my stuff. I coined a new style. I'm not claiming to better than anyone, but I have a different style, and that was my goal.

OMG! Holy Shit! Sorry for cussing but man...I've been playing since I was 7 yrs old, I'm almost 46 now. I can't do that! I really hope you do something with your amazing talent girl. Awesome.
The question is did you practice between 8-16 hours a day for like 12 years straight, because she did.
So she started playing the guitar with 2?
Simply great! What skills! From a guitarist to a Virtusos I'm inspired !
Adoro essa carinha de dever cumprido no final da música... kkkk
that was awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I remember learning that 28 years ago
You , captured it . Steve's style and your amazing hands delivered to all of ears . Well Done ! Thank you
Tina wherever you are please come back

This piece of music is what inspired me to play guitar when I first saw it 20 years ago. I am still trying to learn it. Now here you are, younger than I was when I first saw it, and already you play it beautifully. I am absolutely amazed! Well done. You are one hell of a guitar player!
One of my favorite pieces on guitar. Vai, amazing in his prime. That was awesome....note for note.
Talented and pretty. I'm sure that took a bit to dissect. 😎✌🤘🙏🙏♥️
I still watch these from time to time. Whatever you’re doing now, wherever you are, I wish you the best.
My haircut went from a pushback to an Afro! This girl is amazing.
The angel of guitars. She truly is the best .
After seeing this, I realized that I wont play guitar in public ever again:) Keep it up young lady:)
What I don't get is how accurately and equally expressive she is able to play all these songs, like what was your practice routine to get to this level of accuracy and ability all in one?! 🤯
Enorme et impressionnant ! 👏🏻
That was amazing!
This girl is incredible. Almost robotic. Every other young player I've watched makes the occasional mistake. She never does. She's the type who follows the mantra "Don't practice till you get it right, practice until you never get it wrong."
You go girl absolutely fantastic thank you to share your talents I'm a fan for life!!! Haters go practice
Way to go young lady!!! I know your parents are proud of you!!!
Awesome playing Tina. Bust guitarist I have ever heard or seen. You are a big Inspiration to beginners as myself. Love watching you play.
You're the only one I've ever seen who's able to do the high note at the end, well done!
hell, i reckon
i just recognized that the high note that she played was a whammy
Hmm I don't know, I don't even see a whammy on the guitar. I see a reflection of something next to her elbow that moves around as she moves the guitar but no whammy that I can see.
I think he means a Digitech Whammy, a pitch shifter pedal
or pinch harmonic? Dunno
Assuma seu posto de volta garotinha.
O mundo te adora. Você é sensacional.
🎸👏🎶👊👊👊🤜🤛👍👍👍
Fenomenal great guitarist solo!
Her version of for the love of God is musical perfection 😇❤😘
Mis soberanos respetos para esta jovencita simplemente asombrosa
Woah! Those last notes were awesome 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
She had to use pinch harmonics to reach that octave
Best female guitar player i've ever seen ...
Just WOW what a talent. 😲🕊☮💯
Amazing playing Tina! WOW!!!
she killed that ...awesome job ..I know that took a lotta time to master
We love tina,, awesome
Tina! I haven't heard your stuff in a long time! Nice to see you're still playing!
She's back after a long, 7-year hiatus. With an alt rock band Spin Twice. Check on her RUclips channel.
Wow. Just wow.
Awesome!!!
Tina
Du bist unglaublich gut mir fehlen die Worte.
DU BIST 100% DIE Nr1
i treyed several times to learn this steve vai thing .. .since kid .. and nope , arpeggios are not my guitar skill for sure ... great job on guitar
Wow !!!!!
For me sweep picking isn't that hard, but advanced legato is hard because I had not worked much on it like I did on sweep picking.
does anybody know how technical this song is she is amazing
Me
It’s been a mainstay for showcasing violin mastery for over 200 years.
The more I see & hear of this girl, the more I like. She's awesome.
Aegis Gaming and
I somewhat agree yes, anyone with tab and a metronome could master this in a few weeks of constant practice... this being if you have already become "Adept".
I agree 100% just goes to show, no matter how good you think you may be , there’s someone that will always motivate you!!
agree
Sad seeing people saying they wanna quit after this lol. its difficult not impossible. start at quarter speed and work your way up if you got to
yeah I know. Some people haven't experienced learning a really difficult song yet by playing slower to a metronome or backing track first. You can learn anything if you slow it down a lot and then slowly build up. But most people just watch a performance like this and think, "I can't move my hand that fast and accurate! I quit!" And they're right, they can't right then, but once it's locked in your muscle memory you can speed up
Faith in humanity restored 😭😭 that's beautiful
Yeah, but I bet you can't play any of lil Wayne's solos
Considering not even Lil Wayne can, I'm gonna guess no one can.
Cookie
That's right. Lil Wayne is the finest guitarist EVER in his band.
lil Wayne's solos ? JJAJAJAJAJJJAJ lil Wayne's IT'S A JOKE
jajajajajajaj Lil wayne looks like my 2 year old nephew when he grabs my guitar.
jajajajajjajajajajajajajajaj
OK.This Lady is SERIOUS. She NEEDS to be recognized as one of the 21st Centuries BEST Guitarists!!! Female or Male.
Dumb question, but why would anyone downvote this?
This is effin' brilliant!
ppl that gave up guitar after seeing this
Express your thoughts all you want commenters, but never use any insults on Tina. She's one of the greatest female guitar teenagers that began as child guitarists and someday, she can be one of the best guitarists ever in reality and she's one of my favorite players and one of the greatest players in my book.
doesn't need full distortion, for this, other than that it's absolutely amazing
You right,dont need full distortion.
@@xname662 Agreed. The tone is too harsh in my opinion. Cant knock the playing though
@@colynwyn1281 - same as in the VH cover I felt it was higher gain & lighter touch than Steve or Eddie would use.
Good job!
people say she's not playing with emotion? I don't think she has time for emotions when you have to think that fast to play that fast!
she is showing emotion in her face
Different musical pieces are performed DIFFERENTLY! What is wrong with some people? I bet she could do almost anything with the exception of, well, my stuff. I coined a new style. I'm not claiming to better than anyone, but I have a different style, and that was my goal.
Well it's the fingers that remember the song. Not the mind
Damn, got the chills from 0:17
She’s such a beautiful and talented guitarist!!!!!!
Omg this is the only time I've seen her making guitar faces. Prooves that this is the most difficult piece ever
