This story is close to my heart. I lost my son in stillbirth in 2011 and lost a my baby girl in a miscarriage in 2023. We have tried to adopt 11 times but they r always given back to there parents. My husband and I work in ministry that helps orphans and abused children and im also a children's pastor. We have a little girl that comes and stays with us a few times a year that is in the system. Shes an amazing little girl. We have prayed that we could adopt her. She was 6yrs when she first came here and now shes 11 yrs. Jesus has truly blessed us through her and we love her just like shes our own daughter. Children are a blessing from Heaven for sure. 🙏💕
I love this story. My husband and I were foster parents for years, and so many children passed though our home. We got to adopt a little boy in 2003. That makes shows like this close to my heart ♥️
So, apparently, this was part of McDonald's foray into going beyond making commercials and making TV specials under the name, "McDonalds Family Theater.", where Ronald would invite viewers so that he can read a story in order to teach kids the power of reading. I know it seems weird now, but I appreciate on what they're doing and its certainly better than what McDonald's is doing nowadays.
The weird part is that Ronald starts telling us a story about a guy who then starts telling us another story. Why the middleman, Ron? I thought we were friends.
This was one of my favorite Christmas specials to watch as a kid and makes me so emotional as an adult! Thank you so much for posting it! ❤ so niche and didn’t think I’d find it, but so thankful for YT to relive these memories!
MAHALO! This the best heart-warming Christmas special I have ever seen in a long time. JESUS CHRIST. It made me cry because I have not had a Grandma for decades. I have seen The Magic Paintbrush as a kid & adult. I ended up here after looking up other McDonald's Family Theater specials. Nightmare Fuel: Seeing this Ronald McDonald without the clown makeup...
Well, CBS only aired it twice (1991 and 1992) before getting picked up by ABC in 1993. Yeah, despite McDonald's hyping this up like mad, it became a giant letdown.
I was really curious about this special after seeing promos for it on one of those commercial archive channels. I'm really glad I decided to check it out. It has such a sweet story to tell, the animation and art style are beautifully cozy, and the casting for everyone is super well thought out. The mcdonald's branding is strange, but that's it. Maybe that's why the special never reran after some time. I bet I would've loved to have seen it at least a couple of times growing up
This feels like fresh air in this era of artificial intelligence. I feel so sad for all the artists in the world, they are already being replaced. It makes you appreciate old works so much more.

Lo siento, sin embargo, la transmisión original no tenía una pista de audio en español.
😊😊😊
Thank you for watching!
Am I the only one who the owl is completely scary to
I believe the owl wanted, so desperately, to be someone's toy that he took out his frustrations on all the others. Thank you for watching.
@mymemories-w5i I get that but he still creeps me out lol
Winters' performance is way too hammy for my taste. [shrug] But yes he's the villain so he's supposed to be scary.
