Wonderful lesson!! I bought the book several years ago and unfortunately put the dulcimer aside for a few years. Pulled it out yesterday and discovered all this help on the internet. I learn better by both reading the material and having someone demonstrate. Thanks so much!! Elizabeth
At 7:28 I am confused. What do you mean by one chord, 4 chord, and 5 chord? Aren't use using the same number of notes? It sounds lovely and I want to practice this, especially since I have a hard time with droning, or trying to get one hand to do something other than the melody. Not that coordinated yet.
Does anyone have any idea where I can get black piece which marks in the center of the bridge and the strings go over. One is missing off of my hammered dulcimer treble bridge and and the strange are laying directly on the bridge because of it.
Thanks Jess. I have always considered you one of the best hammered dulcimer teachers.
