- The Tasmanian Trail is a 465km bikepacking route from the northern town of Devonport to the coastal village of Dover in the south, travelling through the centre of Tasmania. It traverses various landscapes on remote trails and quiet gravel roads. There is also enough hike-a-bike to keep even the most avid enthusiast entertained for short periods.

Thanks for filming. Brings back memories of the trip.
I started my first bike trip in Tasmania and I fall in love with bikepacking. Unfortunately I had an accident on my way to cradle mountain three days ago and recovering atm. Please be safe during your trip. When I watch your video I really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing!
Hope you are OK.
Just finding you're experiences here. This is great!
Glad you enjoyed it Danny.
Beautiful work. Top quality viewing experience on all of your posted videos. If you don’t already do this for a living you should. You would be one of the best.
Thanks heaps!! Really appreciate it. Still just a hobby, but you never know what may happen...
Thanks for this Mick. This was beautiful 🙏

Thanks heaps.
Nice editing 😀
Appreciate it.
Great video- but I don't remember it being as easy as this when I did it 2 years ago!
Thanks. There were definitely some challenging sections!
Great video, will be riding the first part of May 2023 solo. Suggestions on how to bike from Hobart to Devon? Thanks
Hi, we just followed the main road. Generally fine for most of it. Have fun on the trail.
I'm planning on doing this via horseback. Did you do a lot of road riding or find there were plenty of tracks also?
Hi Sarah, still sections on roads. Contact Tasmanian Trail Association and grab the maps for more information.
Great film!! my partner and I are planning on riding it in late March this year. How many days did you spend riding?
Thanks. We spent 6 days on the trail and 1 day to ride back to Hobart.
Wow, great video. Hubby and I are riding it in November this year. Didn’t realise how challenging it is going to be. Do you think e-bikes are suitable for this trail? Cheers Sylvia
Hi Sylvia. Enjoy the ride. If you have wide enough tyres and know distances between charging point - totally.
I have enjoyed the video but the music is to repetetatif H
Thanks. Will select better music in the future.
