How many 20 year-olds would want to still play a song live that they wrote when they were 14. That's a trick question. First, find me someone who was writing incredible material like that at 14. I'll be here waiting when you come back empty-handed. Thanks Wally, nice reaction.
Hal-Ca from Asterism started playing at 10 and writing at 12 and the band still plays her early songs. Also, check out when “Dream On” was written by Stephen Tyler of Aerosmith. That said, it’s not a competition. You don’t elevate a band by denigrating other bands.
Yes, "Survive" was the song that glued me to TW. Usually I don't like love or breakup songs. But this is an exception because of the incredible energy of Pau.
Not only was the crowd singing along, as they did with most songs at this show, they were singing in English in this predominantly Spanish speaking audience. From the almost Broadway intro by Pau, to the switching back and forth of lead vocals, the biting lyrics, and the hard rock instrumental jam at the end, this song has a little of everything that makes The Warning unique. 👍😎
The second oldest song (from 2016-2017) still in their repertoire. When I’m Alone is the oldest. This song (especially the TEDx performance) hooked many fans including me.
Fun Fact: this venue hold about 3000 people... Fun Fact: any audience participation you hear is what is picked up by TW's mics... the audience is not mic'd here... now imagine you are on stage and hearing your song being sung back to you by 3000 voices 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
Such a good track. The second half of this song is what really pulled me in when I heard the TedX talk. The way Pau changes her patterns every 16 bars to build the intensity and keep our interest is brilliant. And this groove came from a bunch of teens. The future of rock is in good hands.
"Survive" is from their first studio album "XXI Century Blood" released in 2017 and featured in their 2nd Tedx Talk in 2017. The off beat drum pattern with a staccato rhythm and the open high hat are what I find interesting and for Pau to maintain that pattern while singing is impressive.
This is like their anthem! It may start poppy, but this jamming pumping part, accelerating til the ending is awesome! It shakes every venue, I experienced this in London/UK! The whole crowd sung these ohohos… just, as you say, phenomenal! I’m 51, they made me feel like I’m 30 years younger! Though my voice needed two weeks to recover…🙈 Thanks for your reaction, greetings from Germany 👍⚡️🤘
@@danieljodrey Oh ja! They are a force of nature live! I support them on Patreon for nearly 4 years, but never saw them live before the Bush Hall private show in London… now I understand all the fans who say, the best audio and video cannot catch the live experience! Go to their show if they come to your area/state! 👍🤘
you should watch their 2017 TEDx where they played this as the last song... they would have been like 17, 15, and 12 depending on the time of year... at the TEDx they play three songs and speak to the seated audience in between songs... certainly well worth the watch even if you have already seen/heard/reacted to the songs already... the other two songs they play are *Unmendable* and *When I'm Alone*... the TEDx presentation is about 20 minutes long and plenty of TWA would, again and again and again, watch the whole thing in one run 😉 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
Thanks for the reaction Wally, I got introduced to this song at their TedX talk 2017, a few months back! It absolutely blew me away and they were pretty much just kids then!!! A great song sung by great musicians and performers!! 🔥⚡️
From 'XXI Century Blood' (March 2017) so the original was written and recorded in 2016 when they were 16, 14 and 11. Also, 15 yo Dany wrote 'When I'm Alone' as a solo homework assignment for the Berklee School of Music when the girls attended the summer of 2015. Mind boggling....
I think Pau is a very musical drummer. The fills she places in the song are there to enhance the song, not just to go crazy or get loud. Pau and Ale mesh the beat together. And Dany's guitar solos are specific to the song, not just meaningless shredding. Kind of like Emppu"s solos... what ever is best for the song. SURVIVE had been the closing song for their earlier concerts, until it was replaced by EVOLVE. I noticed you have never reacted to their TEDx Talks 2017 video. When they were 17, 15, and 12yrs old. You really should. Any of their documentaries, After show videos, Making of Mayday 6 part doc. are a window into the minds and hearts of these girls. And a look of them when they are just being themselves. Start with the TEDx 2017 video. You will be glad you did!!
I just found your channel, The Warning and Måneskin are in my Top 3, what I call my holly trinity (The Rasmus forever my #1). I’m enjoying that someone react with pasión to my favorite bands. I saw TR 4 times, TW 1 time and waiting for my first MÅ concert. Greetings from Perú!🤘🏼
Even if you have reacted to any song before. Video, lyric or fan live. This is released by TW, Teatro Metropolitan CDMX is pro-shot and audio. The best of any performance. Except actually seeing them live in person..

I am afraid you're destined to wait a long time my friend😅

This is the song that got most people hooked on The Warning! 😁👍
This one and “Dust to Dust” for me!

This song has a perfect blend of Rock n Metal !

The jam session at the end is always just great.
DPA rock out at the end I love Ale's bass at the end perfect way to end that killer jam. Cheers nice reaction.

Love that during the jam session at the end, Pau keeps changing drum patterns every few bars up until the end.
This song is great to experience from the pit. The whole crowd moves to the groove. It's a classic.
Good to know since I’ll be seeing them soon!
@@PaleHorseShabuShabu You are in for a treat. Enjoy!
The Warning is the Best Band to come along in decades !
They are from another planet …just Incredible…
This song was written and performed when they were kids like 8 years ago. KIDS!!!!

I love watching the older versions of the song where Dany dances in the audience. I do believe thier popularity won't allow that anymore

That build in the outro is genius songwriting and wonderfully performed.
My Fave part also .... Good song and Good Call !!

Same. I’m 52. Haven’t been this pumped about a new group in decades. They rock! Great family and super talented. Once in a lifetime talent
Crowd participation was just like that in Boston last night.

reminds you of More?.... interseting that this song predates More by 6 years! They have their own sound.
Dani sooo reminds me of Suzi Quatro... 🔥
As Pau plays faster....Ale keeps up.
