I have seen this video at least 50 times. Man that last 10 seconds is just filthy.
Ivan and the team got this video produced in less than a week from the time the footage was shot until it was posted. There is some decent fan shot footage of the performance if you want to hear the actual live sound.
The sound quality for this festival was glitchy at best. Lalo never got it mixed properly because all they had was a line check, no sound check. Maybe the next CDMX pro/cam concert will be the one that stands out. The visuals of this song are fantastic! Rudy and Ivan really outdid themselves!

Hey dude! I was at that same show, Faith No More, Metallica, GnR at Rich Stadium in Buffalo! They were probably my 3 favorite bands at the time. It was one of the best shows I ever went to! BTW... Go Bills #BillsMafia4Life
The Warning played this song live for the first time here at this festival. I watched live streaming cell phone footage and you could see 2 or 3 drones flying. I think one had a regular lens and one had a fish-eye lens. They put this video together in a week! It looks amazing! And a Banger of a song!
I think drones don't have fish-eye lens (I got a few drones), you normally control/flight drones by mean of what you see from their cameras.
Drones can flight completely autonomuos but I think this is not the case.
Those effects are post production.

I was one of those people very critical of More and to a lesser extent, Sick!. My initial impression was that they were heading in a direction that was not to my liking while fully understanding that I don't matter, it's what they want to do and the sound they want. Fine....but then HYCAD, especially the live version blew me away. I loved it and it became my new favorite song and now with this song, I also love it, even the studio version and agree with you, that the effects on Dany's voice is perfectly fine and matches the dirty sound of the instruments. I shouldn't have doubted these young ladies. Looking forward to seeing my third concert with them later this year.
I'm 100% with you on my order of preference on the new songs. I'm taking more interest in how willing they are to experiment and stretch than I am any specific Warning "sound."

The video was recorded at the Tecate pal norte concert in Monterrey Mexico where the girls are from.
I know that several cameras 🎥 and 3 drones were used
& the mind blowing thing (about the video) is it was turned around in like 4 days. This was filmed evening of Mar 31 & released late Apr 4.
There’s plenty of fan-cam videos of the live where you can see all the cameramen & drones. Music Madness channel has pretty good quality.
This is also the debut of Dany’s baritone strat. We’ve known she’s had it for quite a while but never used it live.
This is also the return of Ales Inferno bass. She’s been using the blue one exclusively since the fall. & it returns in drop A.

Dany says: "It's about missing someone and the energy this person gives you. You're drawn into their gravitational pull and brightness - like an automatic sun." The video was put together in one week. They shot it at Tecate Pa’l Norte in Monterrey on March 31st. The video team is led by Beto Ramos, Pau’s drum teacher, and Iván Chávez, recent graduate of the University of Monterrey film school. The team they lead is top notch. Their first major TW video was the Metropolitan concert. Dan Lancaster is listed in the credits as a co-producer of the song, a lyrics contributor and providing keyboards. Dan was a touring keyboardist for Muse.
I've always loved how their team includes a lot of close friends and family that play multiple roles each.
I enjoyed your video Dad! What boggles my mind is the video was shot last Sunday. They released the song with this video 4 days after it was filmed; as a single. That seems like a very short amount of time to put this together. 👏👏 BRAVO 👏👏 to the editing team!!! And you can add perfect timing for the upcoming eclipse tomorrow.

I think this vid release was _definitely_ timed to coincide with the actual eclipse. Since the album is scheduled for the end of June, today's marketing includes "single" releases periodically to hype up interest in the months leading to it. Since everyone in central and north America has heard about the eclipse, I'm fairly certain (since this "sun" focused song was already on the album) that the team and label both focused on this event, to coordinate the backdrop images and the "single" drop date.

Yep, studio audio over the live video. They did the same thing with the video for "Money". This is brand new, this video is the initial release of the song.
That is pretty cool, Dany with the quick strums right up at the headstock. From what I've heard ,Dany's guitar is a baritone Fender Strat , and Ale's bass is downtuned.
Yeah, James Hetfield got caught in the pyro in Montreal. I wasn't home in Buffalo for that show you went to, active duty Navy at the time, saw Metallica by themselves in Norfolk on that Black album tour.
Good choice for today with the eclipse. Buffalo is in the path of total eclipse, but typical weather, supposed to be cloudy all day. Another song that works is Sleeping Sun by Nightwish, written for the 1999 eclipse in Europe. (Tarja version Helsinki 2005 -End of an Era, Floor version Masters of Rock 2015).

This song is badass. Probably my favorite so far on this album. Looks like a 360 camera. I have the Insta360 X3 and have used those effects in my videos. It's has cool effects. ⚡️🤘

Aren’t you a bit overwhelmed by Ales beauty? Being the youngest and tallest don’t make the other two any less. Actually, all three are equally involved in songwriting, but no one can take away Paus talent as singer, songwriter, drummer, composer. Nothing against any of them but we have to admit that PAU is the breathing living engine of the Warning. Just my opinion as an old fart who seen the Beatles in 1964 in a live concert and predicted that they gonna conquer the world. And after a long time feed with candy pop rap and hip hop like arising from the deep, three girls from Mexico made the same impression as the Beatles did. I agree that Ale is the tallest and the most beautiful of the three, but beauty works only in Hollywood movies. True that her talent is not playing the bass but as a living metronome to, but it’s not making her the most talented of the three.
As much I love Ale, I just can't ignore the virtue of the other two rockstars. The best complete musician of the three, I just can't pick one.
Apparently, she’s very protective of her older sisters. Seemingly very mature too. But, when you grow up in the shadow of Dany and Pau, that’s not surprising. Fun fact: in an interview, they voted her most likely to survive the Zombie Apocalypse. The convo between her and Pau over practical skills was hysterical. "How can you not know how to read a map? It’s a MAP! It tells you everything! It’s not that I’m great at it, it’s that you SUCK!" I appreciate the tart, acerbic side of Ale. 😁

I had to play this song during the actual eclipse. Thankfully, we didn't have to go anywhere to see it, other than out to the back yard.
As mentioned by others, the industrial sound is coming from a fender baritone guitar. They have longer neck and bigger strings that cause the industrial sound that they wanted for this song
They shot this 8 days before the eclipse and released it 4 days later. Ivan their video guy was hired right out of collage a few years ago and does an awesome job.
I went to a show in San Diego with Body Count, Metallica and GNR.
It was the first show where James came back after the pyrotechnics “incident” you described.
It’s also the show where Ice-T got in trouble with SDPD for playing the song Cop Killer after being told not to.
GNR was touring for Use Your Illusion 1&2 and had a banner on each side of the stage representing each of the albums (yellow for the cover art of UYI 1 and blue for UYI 2).
During the pyro for the show the banner on the left side of the stage (yellow cover art) caught on fire and burnt up.
It was quite the show!

They premiered this song at the same festival only a week or so ago. I believe they had 16 cameras recording this and 3 drones. They then produced this video in under a week and premiered it a couple days ago, just in time for the eclipse. In my opinion this is my favorite song of all time by TW and that really says something as ever song is great but this one just hits for me.
They’re grow up how musicians creativities. Its so clear and the warning team grow up too. The musics videos show theses evolutions…..nor the heaven is limits to them🤘🤘🤘

The production for the video was done by a company from their hometown called Groovy Chaos, but was co-directed by their videographer Iván Chávez, which is why it fits the song and the band so well I suspect.
The footage was captured with 360° cameras. They film all directions at once for VR. If you flatten the image, it makes those cool distortions.

One thing Ive noticed with The Warning after following music for decades they actually are so badass with their Live music as long as its good quality camera,recording devices also love their studio produced vids too.
Shinedown also had some PYROtechnics go wrong on their last tour and the lead singer got some fire on them.This I beleive is one of the few times TW have used fire in their shows.Their Mgr Rudy had a lot to do with the Pyrotechnics.

Tough about Shinedown! Everyone loves some good pyro, but man it seems like it goes wrong more than it should.
Looks like they used a 360 camera on a drone for the great visuals. My first concert was in 1975 at the Niagara Falls convention center to see Kiss. Thay had 4 large flame throwers on stage that we could feel the heat in the middle of the center! Seem like every new tour, the Warning add something new to their production. Loving the flames. Also we just traveled to Buffalo to see the eclipse.
Buffalo - my people! If you saw Kiss in NF in 1975, then my hat is off to you. That means you were probably also watching Rush, Triumph, Kim Mitchell, and Billy Sheehan in Talas in the local scene :-) And if so, it makes perfect sense that you would be a Warning fan now!

Black Sabbath. Love it.

I was also curious, how a song of 3:10 could make a twenty minute reaction, then I saw your comment, and it became clear. Pause every 40 seconds, ventilate on nothing for 3 minutes, and you can use a lot of air, verbiage, and miss the song itself.

That slowed down part of Dany isn't even from this song. If you notice, she is playing her PRS in that section. In this song, she is using a Fender Strat baritone guitar. I think that section may be from the recording of Que Mas Queires as they recorded that song as well that night.

I think a lot of people care because it goes to the probability that we will get a pro shot live video of Q-Q. This is the only pro recording of that song live that we know of. Pau has said we are getting an official music video of Q-Q that she co directs with Ivan.

Actually, the Metallica tour kept going after James' accident. His guitar tech played his parts and James sang while wearing a protective sleeve covering the burns.

Agree that the production works well in this song. The only one that really misses for me is Hell You Call a Dream. Such a straight rock song, I much prefer the live version.

There's live fan cams all over YT right now of this song on their EU tour. They wouldn't be crushing the audiences if it was over produced.

Yes for anyone that hasnt heard of ,seen The Warning before go check out their material over the years.They have had been together as a band for just over 10 years,yes they started young.They have covers they did along with their own music on 3 LPS and 2 EPs plus 5 new songs out from the current LP due to drop June 28th Keep Me Fed!!
