  • I take a look inside the restored Fen Cottage Wicken Fen, Cambridgeshire. This cottage, now owned by the National Trust, dates back to the 1890s and is the only remaining cottage of 14 cottages that once housed up to 10 people each.

    When I was growing up in Ireland in the 1980s and early 90s so many old people lived in houses that were still pretty much identical to this except they had an outside flushing loo instead of chamber pots. Our neighbours lived in a cottage just like this and didn't even have electricity

    You need to visit wales sally there are fantastic places here like the Welsh folk museum Cardiff castle to mention just a few great video keep up the good work 👍👍👍
