Well, it's been quite a while since I finished this video and I was basically too lazy to actually work on the part where I upload it. So now it's time that I finally finish this project and I since I already mentioned that I was planning on doing this, I went ahead and did it. But I doubt that this would be any better than the first one that I did, however, it should give all the details. This project was very delayed.

If you stay on one floor of a dungeon for too long, you'll get a few warning messages before the dungeon kicks you out. This is bad because it counts as being defeated, and you get the same penalties. (losing items, etc)

Moral: Never buy things from a Kecleon Shop in a special mission dungeon.
Other Dungeon, I was able to escape without fainting.
Kecleon is like the most overpowered pokemon in the game
+Dion Chan This summer I replayed the game and, I gotta say no. I happen to use a Regice with max IQ and max stats 255 in everything but HP, which was 360 or something like that with Curse, Lock-On > Blizzard and Rest + Sure-Hit Attacker. Its Clear Body ability prevented any status drop. Also some other IQ skills were handy too, belly going down slower + restoring extra belly when eating, recovering 1 PP when changing floor, fast health regen and intimidator. I was literally unbeatable.
+Playerpoi I might of forgotten, but when I recruited keckleon, he had 225 in all stats except hp at level 40.
+Playerpoi Registeel is a much better choice for fighting against Kecleons simply because his steel-type resists all of the Kecleon's moves and he doesn't basically need any vitamin upgrades to destroy a whole mountain of Kecleons. Regice will have more problems because Kecleons have that annoying Ancient Power and it resists no type Kecleon has.

Trying to recruit a Kecleon in MD is like trying to teach a rock how to roll.
Ya know, since most people are gonna look here to see good ways to recruit Kecleon on PMD2, lemme tell you a good Pokemon to use: Blissey. I can gain the IQ skill Fast Friend and, with enough training, becomes an absolute tank (Ex: max Attack and Defense) to Kecleon's attacks. It can learn Defense Curl and Minimize, both perfect moves for attempting to recruit this monster. You only need a Golden Mask and lots of Reviver Seeds, Max Elixers, Violent Seeds, and a few Escape orbs. I recruited mine after about 2 weeks. It's not easy, but it is possible, kids. Good luck to anyone that tries this. Your'e gonna need it.
Or you know... just bring shedninja with its and ninjask's signature items or a defend globe.

Alright, I did a bit of testing and research thanks to you, and I figured out another pokemon that makes this easy is togekiss, since it has the ability to absorb ancient power and shadow sneak, get fast friend and be tanky as well. So fir a good set-up, bring a drought orb, one-room orb, and bring togekiss with the joy and sky orbs, as well as its exclusive items, shedninja with the items i mentioned earlier and kangaskhan with the kanfa-torc to increase shop spawn rates
You can send back kangaskhan after finding a shop
Its bad enough that recruitment is near impossible. What makes it worse it that unlike PMD1 where at lvl. 100m you could kick Kecleon's ass, He still can destroy you at lvl. 100.

It seems to me that most people are getting ready for the sky version which I believe is coming out on October 12 this year.

Man I am looking at history.
There is a time limit in a dungoen.When wind comes,it is a warning to get to the stairs quick.However,after 3 warnings,the final wind blows you out of the dungoen.
First of all, I want to say thanks so much for this guide. I followed exactly what this guide had said (and based it on the last one too), except for some few minor differences, none of which were important.
After maybe 5-7 total hours (but not necessarily consecutive) of getting Wonder Mails and fighting Kecleons, I am proud to say that I have recruited one. I'm surprised it did not take me longer though. I can confirm that Kecleons have maxed stats (255 in everything)...wow.
What I did for recruiting Kecleon is simple : I took a Pachirisu, leveled him up all the way to lvl 100, gave him dozens of Wonder Gummies for the IQ, teached him Super Fang and Spark, then linked the two moves. With a Mobile Orb, tons of Apples and 2 Violent Seeds you can OS the Kecleons with one chain, even with ~150 in the offensive stats. (Super Fang halves his HP and Spark does approximatively 150 damage)
And then, I did go in Waterfall Cave, and after like 50 Kecleons defeated one wanted to join me. I got pretty lucky tbh
By the way, how do you farm the stats boosters ? I got like not even 10 boosters in my whole game, so how do you farm them all the way to 255 ?
I just had to stay in the wall with de Mobile Orb. The biggest flaw in my strategy is that if I die just once, I lost my Mobile Orb and Violent seeds effects, and it's just game over. With all the apples and Max Elixirs i can easily stay alive for hundreds of Kecleons. I also used a Radar Orb to spot all the Kecleons and not get suprised. If I keep staying near a wall, I can lure them to the wall and kill them while they cant touch me hehe, and I actually recruited a Kecleon that way !
I admit that farming QI and levels are veery long though..

I just farm Zero Isle (Esat?). I go in with an Escape Orb go through the dungeon, I try to find as many as possible then escape!

I had used too the Sunny Day-Chlorophyll combo, but with Bellossom instead of Jumpluff.

Luke the Giant Yup, level 50+ with 255 in every stat and 288HP. It is hard, but recruiting it makes the game a real cakewalk
Wanna know a trick I learned?
Get a BUNCH of Gold Ribbons and some Trawl Orbs.
Then put all your Gold Ribbons down in a Kecleon Shop and sell them.
Then find the stairs, use the Trawl Orb, and then gather your Gold Ribbons and anything else you want, then leave, and do it with other Kecleon Shops.
That's how I circulate Poke. Always works!

I think that the pokemon you are using has far too low of an HP to get Kecleon, I mean for a level 100 pokemon, under 200 HP is almost unheard of! Ive never used a Jumpluff because I dislike the type combination but, 167 hp at level 100? Jesus. Most Pokemon average around 300HP at level 100. In your first video for PMD1 the pokemon you had was much better off in the HP department. I just found out about this whole Kecleon thing tonight, I mean I thought he was available elsewhere in the game but I guess not! There are a few specific moves that I think are great for countering him. A pokemon with fighting moves and a move such as iron defense that can be used before the fighting begins counters screech when they use it on you. I would definitely be using Brick Break on them a lot for one hit ko's rather than simply Tackles, and of course elixirs for PP. Definitely gonna try this tomorrow on PMD1 and 2! Shoot, Im not one for cheating but I play on emulators, and I wouldnt hold it against anyone to use infinite belly/hp/pp while catching kecleon, then its all luck of getting that 0.1% recruit. Theres no cheat that I know of to 100% recruit anything, so even with gameshark/action replay Ive read people spending a whole day and not getting 1 to recruit!
I don't know in what world you're living, but literally no pokemon have +300hp at level 100. They are mostly around 200, 250 for the bests, 150 for the worsts.

Fun Fact: The 100% Recruit cheat don't work very good with Kecleon, actually makes he with like an -0.1% or something

Golden mask is better than the amber tear and a requirement for recruiting kecleon. I believe the amber tear is a 15 percent increase and the golden mask is 20.1 percent recruit increase. Level 100= 24.5 percent recruitment, and that iq friend skill is plus 5 percent. Keckleons normal recruit rate is -49.5. Which totals to a 0.1 recruit rate. No idea why this guy tells you to use the amber tear.

Hey everyone. In the past few months,I have managed to recruit 5 Kecleons(most of you will not believe me,but it is true xD).I use Cresselia with extremely high stats(approximately 240 Sp.Atk,240 Sp.Def,240 Def and 145 Atk),Fast Friend IQ and with the moves Moonlight,Confusion,Psychic and Hidden Power.You'll need 1 Violent Seed,1 Mobile Orb,1 Golden Mask and a lot of Max Elixirs. You can also use X-Ray Specs in order to find a shop and a Radar Orb so that you can spot every enemy on the floor.Apples,Oran Berries,Evasion Orbs and Reviver Seeds are not needed.Good Luck :D

An easy method you can also use is shedninja with both it and ninjask's signature items to let it absorb sucker punch and ancient power, then a nether globe for shadow sneak, so that you cant take damage from its moves. Then bring a golden mask or amber tear, and bring a tight belt to wear between keckleon to maximize your belly.

I decided to make this _very_ fun for myself by using a Delibird instead. Upon hatching one with Mind Reader and Ice Ball (this took a looooong time), I got to work training its stats and raising its IQ and even getting its exclusive item which makes them attack twice during hail like Jumpluff could in the sun, and in the end I really did manage to get a Kecleon with this wacky setup.
Not only that, the whole experience made me like Delibird because of all the time I'd spent raising this successful one.
@logendomaster2010 The reason is that you stay too long on one field.
I don't really know what happens either, but a wind gust blows you away if you don't stay too long on one floor. It is put in the game to avoid you stay too long on the same floor.
@chronoquairium it depends...did you use the 10 evasion orbs? if u use them, u can almost never be hit unless they use faint attack. i suggest only bringing 5- 10 reviver seeds as a last resort. mobile scarfs are good too..but then you starve and if you dont have food ur dead. ive gotten about 5 keckleons on the first game, and they are awesome, but i cannot seem to get one on this one :/ oh, and get anything that adds friend chance, oh, and if you dont use fast friend, its a 1 in 1000 chance :P
also, the higher your rank in that game the more likley pok'emon will join, i'm already master rank (highest rank you need 52k points or something like that)

Not really. He shows using the amber tear, but if you dont use the golden mask kecleons recruit rate is still negative.

Mobile Orb was a great idea.
i think clefable can have fast friend and minimize, which raises evasion, so if u use clefable you don't need evasion orbs. blissey can also do this, but its attack stat is horrible.
Roserade with Synthesis, Budew Scarf, Mobile Orb. Wide Slash, Giga Drain or Energy Ball. Watch 'em fall while hiding in the wall. Each damage you take from hunger in the wall is 1PP added.
@urberman44 She/he used the Mobile orb, which doesn't effects where she walks.
What I did was I used a mobile orb so I can walk through walls, use a violent seed to maximize my attack and special attack and attacked every kecleon through the walls until I recruited one. Took me about 2 and 1/2 hours but it was worth it

is fast friend completely neccesary, or can you recruit it without fast friend so i dont need to waste time trying to get wonder gummis. also what is kecleons level when you recruit it?
You shouldn't use all of your evasion orbs in one shot, just in case you die or something. Or just have more on hand.

Perso le meilleur endroit pour ce challenge est le lac lointain: avec manaphy ou phione qui peuvent disposer d'un objet qui leur permettent de recuperer des pv dans l'eau ( c'est a dire partout dans ce donjon!)et en utilisant danse pluie ça booste les attaques eau pour plus de degats!
also where do you find mobile orbs and what pokemon that can learn fast friend can learn fighting type moves becuase that is kecleons weakness so i like to use super affective stuff on him i am considering mew but he is way behind on iQ can shedinja get fast frined becuase i am using him alot what about darkrai his iQ isnt bad he has six stars what about manaphy he has therr stars in iQ and lv 70 but the problem with him is he has low durability thats why i need some stat ups especially hp ones

OHHHHH MYYYYY GODDDDD! How did you do that?! At Lv. 100, I literally was doing 1-2 damage per hit, and the Kecleons damage me around 100 HP per hit! I FREAKING HAD 12 REVIVER SEEDS AND 999 HP FOR MY POKEMON!! AND I STILL WAS KILLED!!!!
it's hard to recruit kelceon, my partner almost fainted during the fight, but I managed to recruit one.

Yes it does have a higher recruit rate. +10% for Friend Bow, +24% for Amber Tea/Gloden Mask.

Why does it matter if you use the Golden Mask over the Amber Tear? They do the same exact thing lmao.
The Golden Mask has a higher increase in recruitment than the Amber Tear. The Amber Tear only increases recruitment by 15%, but the Golden Mask by 20.1% (The last 0.1% is EXTREMELY crucial).

sorry for double post but also my riolu dose not have fast friend so i want to know how to get him without it becuase my ally pokemon are too far behind in iQ to get any where the onley other pokemon that has alot of iQ is my starting partner he is a lv 69 grovyle but he is not strong enough to take one hit from a kecleon onley my riolu is strong enough help
I think Exploud would be a better candidate for this.
He gets Fast Friend, plus he has Soundproof to negate Screech.
They are. I have the game guide and all the stats of the pokemon. I can tell you now that kecleons stats are higher then any legendary in the entire game. X_x If you recruit one you can breeze right through anything with minimum effort.
hte way i would try to recruit a kecleon is steal from them after you use a lumiuse orb (sorry i dont know how to spell the orbs name) then find a one way dead end and camp out there

The weather was Sunny (0:02 bottom right) which activated Jumpluff's Chlorophyll ability (0:52)
@beastbey I saw this video of this guy trying to recruit one and it took him well over 100 kecleons to finally get one to become recruited.

i think you should just get a pokemon with Endure and endeaver. Any level works :D and all you do is use endure, let the Kecleon attack you, then use endeaver, then the kecleon's attack willl be down to 1. :)
Do you have to be level 100 to be able to kill Kecleon? I tried at level 64 and only survived one hit from him!

You need a pokémon with the IQ ability fast friend, you need golden mask or amber team and the pokémon must be level 90+
I recruited a Kecleon it was extremely hard I was darkrai and I kept using violet seeds and trawl orbs but never thought of using evasion orbs I just use double team and ate a lot of gummies ^o^ but that was explorers of sky
Is Kecleon any good in the LV1 dungeons?
Bas Oosterling He's the best pokemon for it in PMD1. Fantastic stats and easy levels, only 90,000 exp to reach level 100.

In PMD2 no. Because his stats sit at 1 until level 42 or so.

My attacks only inflict 1-10 damage even though I'm level 100...
That's because your stats are way out of league compared to Kecleon's. Kecleon's stats are very high and dangerous.

oh maaaaan are you serious fast friend is that important to get kecleon.....ok i am going to ask this what are some good ways to increase stats and a good way to boost iQ now dont laugh at me but all my pokemon except for my two starter pokemon riolu and treeko who is now grovly have all iq and are leveled up properly oh and my legendary s but they are all behind in iQ what is a good durable pokemon that can learn fast friend and a good place to get stat boosters some exp points and gummies
