Super articulated pokemon figures is my childhood dream come true. I would go nuts if such thing was available back then.

Trying to finesse the stand! Literally giving up!!
I can't get the darn thing to stay on the stand. Even putting it in at an angle it worked 1 or 2 times, now it just pops off.
How did you get yours on the stand!? Most of us can't get Mewtwo on it! Beside my stand problem! i love this figure! Only wish they put a joint in the base of the tail to add a little more articulation there.
I would agree it’s not the most ergonomical out of all the figures. But the entry point is at a slight angle. It takes some finessing, but you will eventually get it. 😊
Thanks for mentioning how difficult it was to get it to stand. Thank goodness this Mewtwo can stand on its own🙏🏼
I just want to say, im not a fan of Pokemon, but i know a few characters and Mewtwo. And i honestly wanna get this figure, because that's just how solid of a figure it is. I mean.. the individual finger articulation??? Like, huh?

Guy forgot to mention it, but the SH has a few extra option parts (extra head/expression, pair of hands, and an attack effect part)
Personally the SH/Tamashii lines are more my cup of tea, but good luck finding Mewtwo (or the other pokemon options from them) for MSRP since it's been a few years

The Tail is fine.
I do wish the figure's port for the Stand was in the bottom not his back.
What would also be Sweet is if we got an Effects pack for him.
Like a Psystrike effect or Shadow ball?
Also I am very happy to see he Scales perfectly with the Mew figure they put out...though I do hope we get a better on soon...Mew is my favorite Pokemon.

No way you get effects at this price point. Just make some with glue gun

And yes you could easily make some.
Still the biggest issue I have with this figure is simply the Postion of his Stamd Port....why couldn't it have been on his inderside so he could have better pose capability

Same issue! The tip that goes into his back is so loose, I feel we got a defective stand
Mine came with a mistake in the stand Xd it is smaller than it should so it doesn’t fit in him. It’s ok cause I can still do cool poses without it😀
Is it just me or is the stand difficult to put on? I can't insert the plastic stand into Mewtwo's lower back
I would say it is more difficult than the others. Mainly because it’s angled. But once it is in I haven’t had any problems with him staying there
series 1 and 2 appeared in walmart in canada as well
I just got this and I like it but the toe is loss and the stand plug is a bit hard to keep in because shape side ways

You should open him probably cost more money in a couple years and people gonna want him. you never now you never know

We get them in both Gamestop and Toys'r'us here in Canada, Walmart got Wave1 and maybe Wave2 also but not anymore, were they always Target Ex in the states?
Also, i was thinking about passing on this Mew Two since i already have SHF and i thought this one is too big like Lucario and Greninja, but he actually is perfectly scaled with awesome articulation, glad i didnt pass on him!
And which Mew is that? the battle 2pack with the smaller Mew Two? is that the only Mew they made so far?
Great to know! I’m glad you were able to pick him up. The Mew is from their “battle” figures. It was a two pack from Walmart that had a Mewtwo (the much smaller and way less articulation) and that Mew.
@@nostalgicadam thanks! Yeah that's the only Mew I've seen so far but I don't want that Mew Two, maybe I'll until they re-release Mew in other packs later or when Walmart clearance that 2 pack..

Approach it from an angle and just push in hard. He seems to stay for me. He hasn’t fallen off yet.

the problem i have with this is the fact that is too pink rather than white, game mewtwo is almost completely white, i don't get the direction taken with this, it looks like the anime, but in the anime it's more like a gray, it's way darker it's angular, the head is way smaller, it's kinda taller too so
- it's not from the old anime because it's pink instead of gray and it looks way less mean and angular
- it's not from the modern game because game mewtwo it's way slender and it's white
- it's not from smash because it's white too and it's not stylized
- it's not from the original pokemon game because he had long ass arms there and was still white
- it's not from the movie because it's way less realistic and creepy
i have to assume that the look it's completely inaccurate and goofy because it's new, it's not an old figure when you can say " yeah it's pink and goofy because it's old and cheap" it costed nothing to them to mold him in white plastic and give him nicer proportions
we never had a Mewtwo that was canonically colored that way so it's inaccurate and i don't know why toy companies keep doing this .
the joints are great in the arms and head but not that good in the rest, the joints are there but the ranges don't work so the look it's sacrificed without any efficiency we should have gotten more, you would say "why it costs 20 dollar what can you have more" well, it doesn't cost much to make it better the only thing that they should have done is cutting the plastic a little deeper and lower and place the all joints in the right position to give him the maximum range, it doesn't really take much and the chestplate isn't even the problem is just the joint placement, it's a really good figure overall but it could have been perfect
the main defects are
- off colors IT'S TOO FREAKING PINK
- inaccurate look i mean it looks like a quarter movie a quarter modern game, a quarter goofy odd old game and a quarter anime i mean the rest of the pokemon from this line are accurate to the modern games, i don't get why this Mewtwo isn't they just had to copy the model and place the joints, it's already there i mean, it's a big company not a guy making these in a basement
- joints? perfect amount ranges? bad
the rest is great BUT it shoudl have been taller, mewtwo is 2 meters tall standing to the pokemon lore

Come on, the head sculpt on the sh figuarts is on another level, it's not comparable to this ugly one...
I mean, for $20 vs. $65+ it’s pretty damn good
i honestly prefer the head for the 20 one.
over all this line is cool to look at but full of flaws. The Raiku figure"articulation" is a scam. its legs barely move. As for Mewtwo...I hated this figure. I can never get it to stand up. The hole in the back is not deep enough for the stand arm, it's at an awkward angle and really should have just been on the underside. The tail is in the way 90% of the time to insert the stand. I dont know if it's just a defect o the ones in the target. I got it at but its frustrating that it can only rest on its tail as a pose. The tail articulation is a joke. the whole thing should have been posable not just the end portion. The plastic tail base should have been an inch or so shorter to make more room for the rubber tail or removed all together and had the rubber go the entire way and wrap around the front. This one was a huge turn off to future ones because of the poor balance, articulation and unstable stand.
Got mine at target today on sale 15.99 STEAL
$16.99 but my peg hole for mewtwo wont fit with the stand.
