Lowe's closes Portage Store

Lowe's closed 51 stores around the US back in 2018. This Portage Indiana location was filmed on 04/08/2018. As far as I know, the main reason why sales were down at this store was due to the Menards across the street was doing way more dollars per customer. As of the upload of this video 03/30/2024, this is a Tractor supply and Planet Fitness.

Shocking! I used to work there also! 2005-2006.. They hired me to work in Outdoor Lawn & Garden, showed me a 5 minute long forklift training tape, and had me get in a forklift.. knocked the back gate to Lawn & Garden over, and plowed through those cement yellow barrier things.. Fired! lol
