Wow! You really get an idea of how accomplished he is when he's playing the acoustic! That sort of gets overshadowed when he's playing with Sonic Youth by the overall presentation of the entire band, if that makes any sense.
hmm...i could probably figure it out but ive been doing it in an alternate tuning...i went through the whole album riffin it out...you should experiment with some alternate tunings to figure it out then go from there to create some of your own...fun stuff..

how does he come across as pretentious at all here? He's just having a conversation. It sounds like the most natural conversing I have ever heard in an interview with a famous person.

Great album, I got it a couple of months back and I listened to it from front to back. Its one of those timeless albums that a few people would know.
I hadn't really heard of this guy much, until i bought the album. It's terrific.
