i teared up when he started talking about black panther 2, it still doesn’t feel real that he’s not with us anymore. the sweetest most talented soul taken far too soon
Who is here after hearing the sad news about Chadwick ? So very sad and he was ill here ! Even more sad when he spoke about the next Black Panther for 2022. RIP Chadwick 🧚🏿♂️
I have watched this episode so many times. Chadwick was so humble, talented and funny. I just love his interaction with Richard (I bought his book, it is really hilarious) and the other guests. 21 Bridges is so good, I think Al "Serpico" Pacino is proud of him. RIP Mr. Boseman.
Watching Chadwick listen to Lady Glenconnor talk about her son's AIDS, death, her older age (her being 87 years old)...I can't help but wonder what he felt/thought knowing and feeling with so much definiteness that death was very near. I really feel for him. RIP Chadwick. You lived a good life and made us better. We will love and miss you always.
I saw Mr. Boseman on Trevor Noah's show & immediately thought 'he must be ill'. He was so thin. When I think of him, I see him as his character in "Draft Day" where he was so hale & hearty & at least 50 lbs heavier. I was stunned when they announced he had passed away. We are very lucky to have him & his work as long as we did. We can only imagine what other wonderful work he could have done if he had a longer life. RIP, Mr. Chadwick Boseman & Thank You.
Chadwick has real class, he is humble and so tragic to watch this knowing he will not be in the next two black panther movies, or in our lives for that matter. Just goes to show life is short and we must grab it by the horns and make the most, of each moment we are given. We were truly blessed to have a real star shine in our lives. RIP brother, may you be in peace now.
Best episode in my opinion. Amazing people with pleasant personalities. My favourite bit was the hilarious chemistry between Olivia Colman and Richard Ayoade when he was talking about the film, that's legend.
"I hadn't had the opportunity to do theater for some years..." Wow, Chadwick really managed to make it sound small when he probably wasn't in the right condition to do Broadway at all. Hats off to you and rest in peace and power!
Olivia Colman listening to the motorcycle accident and Helena comforting her is one of the purest, if not the purest thing I've ever seen on television.
A true king, he respected and engaged with every guest, exuding so much positive energy, I can't imagine how taxing this appearance must've been for him. Rest well ❤
Jesus, when Richard Ayoade can make Olivia Colman spit out her drink with a Gwenith Paltrow joke, you know you've won in life!!! Also: Wakanda For Ever! R.I.P Chadwick Boseman.
23:00 In regards to the “wakanda forever” montage; knowing what we know now, he probably wasn’t bored of doing it, he was probably struggling with his health declining
He said "we have sometime to prepare it"😭😭 R.I.P Dear Chadwick, you were a great person and you will be missed. I really wish I had gotten to meet you.
2:13 Funny how Gwyneth thinks highly of herself yet the reactions of some of the world's greatest actors ( Coleman, Carter, Boseman) clearly show otherwise.
Helena Bonham Carter really is the female personification of Johnny Depp, it looks like they're a separated twins or something. (pretty sure it's being said many times before though, lol) Rest in peace Chadwick Boseman.
RIP and long live The Black Panther Chadwick Boseman (November 29, 1976 - August 28, 2020), aged 43 You will always be remembered as a legend. Wakanda Forever! We love you 3000.
He looks so sick, yet keeping his posture. You can also see how rhe crowd is actually to busy for his state. My dad with cancer has the same, as the decease drains the energy out of a person. So recognizable and painful to see :(
Why does it always seem like we lose all the beautiful souls in every industry quicker than we do some monsters...? Chadwick just radiates kindness , RIP to the King
I was at the recording of this, just wish I could remember more about it. I do remember a whisper going around the audience when Chadwick Boseman talked about Denzel Washington being his secret benefactor. Not sure if this is the first time he talked about that?
I wonder if the sequel of Black Panther will feature a more prominent role for Shuri, like she takes over as the New Black Panther, like Black Panther II, as in Black Panther's successor or something, because Shuri in the comics, I think, does take over as her brother, T'Challa's successor, as we all know, right? But, who knows...
I have to wonder if Chadwick knew he was ill and if so how hearing the stories about her son's dying affected him on a personal level. What a beautiful woman inside and out. 87.
Now this may have already been mentioned in other comments, but I can't be bothered to read all of them. Turns out Helena Bonham Carter's uncle, Mark Bonham Carter, Baron Bonham-Carter, was a friend of princess Margaret in the years of the "Margaret set", in the 50's. And now Helena is playing her role on "The Crown"...small world!
apologyse for asking might be dumb thing, but what that ribbon stands for ? awarness for something ? I have seen it before and i am unaware of what it means! Seems everyone on the stage has it , left chest pocket! Thank you!

That's exactly why I'm rewatching it. RIP beautiful man 😭
Me too. So sad. I loved 21 Bridges❤❤❤
I have watched this episode so many times. Chadwick was so humble, talented and funny. I just love his interaction with Richard (I bought his book, it is really hilarious) and the other guests. 21 Bridges is so good, I think Al "Serpico" Pacino is proud of him. RIP Mr. Boseman.
Rest in Peace & Power Chadwick Boseman!!! Black Panther/ WAKANDA FOREVER! 👊
Caz H Me.
This is one of my fav episodes....RIP Chadwick. He was so sweet here.
This was one of the best "couches"!
“You’re literally the opposite of on the edge of your seat.” 😂😂
Richard Ayoade at his very best! 🤣
We will love and miss you always.
well, his friends say he didn't think about himself, always it was about helping and making others comfortable.
Now watching this, knowing how ill he was, I can see how thin he got, he's had to have filler added in his cheeks.
I saw Mr. Boseman on Trevor Noah's show & immediately thought 'he must be ill'. He was so thin. All of this!
Here watching to see him so full of life, be reminded of what a sweet, magnanimous, and just lovely human being Chadwick Boseman was. Rest in power.
And this was very deep into his cancer treatment too...

Such a great episode - every guest is wonderful and interact so well. I just love how much Chadwick Boseman enjoys everything Richard Ayoade says.
It’s always fun watching people fall smitten with Ayoade, but this one was especially lovely.
Olivia Colman listening to the motorcycle accident and Helena comforting her is one of the purest, if not the purest thing I've ever seen on television.
Their chemistry is amazing.
Richard ayoade is truly a national treasure.
Niall was amazing 😍 Olivia, Helena (my fave), Chadwick, Richard - can't ever go wrong with this couch!
RIP Chadwick. I’m sorry to hear the news.
23:00 In regards to the “wakanda forever” montage; knowing what we know now, he probably wasn’t bored of doing it, he was probably struggling with his health declining
I could just spend the evening looking at HBC she is stunning.
Tut tut, Olivia! Don't you know better than to drink when RA is talking. Was always going to end in tears 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Chadwick is amazing! Such a loss... 😭
Oh man "Black Panther 2022".
I would have loved to have seen that. It's too sad.
For anyone who wants it, Niall Horan comes in at 40:20
He said "we have sometime to prepare it"😭😭
R.I.P Dear Chadwick, you were a great person and you will be missed. I really wish I had gotten to meet you.

Rest in peace Chadwick Boseman.
Yes I've often thought that... especially as she got older into adulthood.
It's that swagger. Just awesome.
Best couch ive watched, and i am looking at Chadwick thinking how its all tragic that he's not here anymore. Rest in Peace my King.
RIP and long live The Black Panther
Chadwick Boseman (November 29, 1976 - August 28, 2020), aged 43
You will always be remembered as a legend.
Wakanda Forever!
We love you 3000.
Niall: An Irish balladeer-very good, but hardly surprising. Shows us he can rock out, too. Who knew? Guess we were wrong thinking U2 was unique.
He looks so sick, yet keeping his posture. You can also see how rhe crowd is actually to busy for his state. My dad with cancer has the same, as the decease drains the energy out of a person.
So recognizable and painful to see :(
im here bc i wanted to see helena, niall, and Chadwick interact. Rest in power Chadwick
Why does it always seem like we lose all the beautiful souls in every industry quicker than we do some monsters...? Chadwick just radiates kindness , RIP to the King
R.I.P. CHADWICK BOSEMAN 👑 💜🖤💜🖤💜🖤
Lady Glenconner is legendary. Authentic to the core. Love her humility and outstanding sense of humour.
Long live the King. Godspeed, Chadwick.
I adore everyone on this couch... and I miss Chadwick 💔
One of the most epic couches ever
Graham is one of the funniest people ever!!! I love him! ❣️❣️❣️
I was at the recording of this, just wish I could remember more about it. I do remember a whisper going around the audience when Chadwick Boseman talked about Denzel Washington being his secret benefactor. Not sure if this is the first time he talked about that?
Lady Glenconner is an icon!✨
One of the best couches!! Amazing!
I miss Chadwick so I here I am, watching this episode maybe for a hundredth times 😢
Chadwick Boseman 😢😢💔💔
This is my favorite talk show hands down 👏👏
Never heard of RIchard Ayoade before this interview, but he's so funny hahaha
hes a very cool and witty guy, he plays Moss in the tv show IT Crowd and is very funny on the Big Fat Quiz show.
I read the book because of this interview... it's exactly as good as you think it'd be 😂
RIP Chadwick Boseman 1976 - 2020
Crying my eyes out for Chad. Great show, but oh so very sad
Chadwick such a classy, sweet and talented guy, he is missed...🙏
Cool seeing some of my favorite actors, Helena Bonham Carter and Chadwick Boseman, together.
R.I.P Chadwick Boseman😥
Miss him so much, 6 months later and it still hasn't hit home 😭
I wonder if the sequel of Black Panther will feature a more prominent role for Shuri, like she takes over as the New Black Panther, like Black Panther II, as in Black Panther's successor or something, because Shuri in the comics, I think, does take over as her brother, T'Challa's successor, as we all know, right? R.I.P T'Chadwick Boseman. 🌹
I love it!! Lol!!!! 😂😂😂 Love love Olivia and Richard!!
Richards constant nodding kills me 😄😄😄
This is the first time I noticed Chadwick's eyelashes -- I know people who pay money to have lashes that full, long, and beautiful
Yes there beautiful
I have to wonder if Chadwick knew he was ill and if so how hearing the stories about her son's dying affected him on a personal level. What a beautiful woman inside and out. 87.
Makes me sad to know that we won’t be expecting him in Black Panther 2 next year 😔
You will be forever missed King T'Challa 😢
RIP Chadwick 💖
Rip

25:09
I just tried to count the New York bridges and gave up.
Heyheyheyhey WAIT ONE SECOND IS ONE OF THEM THE ACTORS OF CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY
How soon after this airing did he die? Anyone know?
~9 months
It is not hard to count bridges.
Chadwick appeared to be not entertained or enjoying being there. So disappointed to watch
Ummm he was sick with cancer, cut the man some slack. And he was very clearly having a good time. Don't be an asshole.
Old Lady is no fun - as expected after she talked about the sexing couple
