Yeah, I know he is good but it feels like we see him way too much compared to some other four stars that it can go months in between runs.
So I'm not sure how they decide which four stars to use for each banner.

Same. I came back before 4.0 and I already have c6 Bennett! This is the 3rd banner with him since 4.0! + We got him for free too!

Chevruese makes any Electro dps comparable to their aggravate variant especially if you have her C6 and bennet being one of her best teammates. It's an absolute troll to not have Chevy on this banner when this is the third re-run bennet has since Fontain + a free Bennet in an evet and just recently in the starglitter shop... I'm going to flip my desk if she appears on the Furina/Sigewine banner...

i have sac greatsword on Chongyun and it feels nice. I know Chongyun isn't exactly "meta" or popular, but I enjoy him in my Noelle team for the attack speed buff.

@eloiez he was my first 4star pull apart from Noelle. He carried my early game along with Noelle. My comfort team comp is them with xiangling and beidou.
My OG team was Jean, Noelle, Chongyun, and Xiangling.
I also use Noelle, Chongyun, Qiqi, and Gorou when I'm not needing so many other elements.
Not having him on the team feels detrimental since I favor greatsword users heavily

Remember my predictions for this banner. Expect for Kaveh. I literally thought of characters who compliment Clorinde and Alhaitham. Kuki, Fischl, Xingqiu(unlikely but still) YaoYao etc. These are characters who really do well with Alhaitham and Clorinde.
(I know Clorinde is new but she's an on field electro dps so aggrevate is the first team that comes to mind)
These 4 stars(Thoma and benette) are like yeah sure there good but do we need them if we want Alhaitham or Clorinde. In my mind. I don't think so.
I am sad. I only have c0 Yaoyao, no Kaveh, Kuki might be c1... I had big hopes. I have c6 Bennett,c6 Thoma and I don't care about Sethos.
I just started three weeks ago and was quite sad to hear that Bennett is available in the glittershop in May - because it was basically impossible for me to farm so much glitter to buy him. Glad I'll get a better opportunity to get him :D
who should i pull? clorinde or alhaitham? i dont mind having another dps since i have nahida, who works well with both of em. i have alhaitham’s sword too, but rn im confused who to pull for

Rip to my kaveh dreams 😭 I was so hoping he'd be on his hubbies banner.
I do want Sethos and I'd be good with Thoma. Bennett Cons are also welcome. But overall I'm glad to have guarantee and some pity build (from C6ing Faruzan). Hopefully Alhaitam comes home early and brings Sethos with him.

Thomas also great as a shielded for Wanderer, sometimes better than Zhongli, and his C6 buffs Wanderer even more
Getting Bennet constellations to c5 or c6 is a must. This is Bennet's banner. I would go for Alhaitham hopping for as many bennets is possible, if the 5 star doesn't come soon. Otherwise skip. This is my advice for F2P.
I was hoping for Chevreuse since I need constellations and they didn't put her on the Arlecchino banner. Chevy works well with Clorinde, so that would have made sense, too. Instead, I imagine Hoyo will put the Overload buffer on the all-Hydro banner, because they do dumb things.
New end game mode effected 4star banner a lot
Should I go for Furina in the Ayaka freeze team or Save for a year for Kazuha next year? Currently, I am working with Sucrose and Xingqiu.
Freeze team? You can just get Xingqui and Kaeya for Ayaka
Xingqui for hydro and interrup resistance and kaeya for the crit buff I think
I was at 50 pity, wishing for Alhaitham and in 32 pulls got Sethos 4 times and LUCKILY Bennet's C1 (since I just bought him last month with starglitter). Then did 10 more pulls after getting Alhaitham to get Thoma just for fun and got another Sethos. I could swear they're rigging it in his favor.

I already have Benny at C6, and my Thoma is only C3.
So in my 100 pulls I have saved, I'm looking at getting Clorinde, and hopefully some Thoma and Sethos, and maybe I'll try for Clorinde's sword, or maybe I'll save some wishes another banner.
Just before Hard Pity hit, I ended up pulling a 5*...well now I have Diluc...
About 20 pulls later Madam Button-Popper came home.
All up I managed about 6 more Bennys, got Thoma to C6, and Sethos managed to find his way to C5.
I must have less than a 10 pull left to get something from the weapon banner...but since I'm out of primos, I'll have to wait for some events.
Sethos is more like an on field burst dmg dealer, especially the burst infuse his normal attack to electro so he can be in a hyperbloom team. I also wanna get 1 Thoma to make him C4. I like Clorinde but I'll skip her because I'm aiming for Furina and aiming for the 4 star specially Sethos and Thoma. also i wan't C6 Benny (currently C3)
even my Thoma andBennet still not C6 but i'd like to see Chevreuse

Ouch... for sure Bennett is a "must pull", but he shows up in the Star Glitter Shop and you cannot guarantee him on the limited banner.
Sethos, I don't get him... sort of like an Electro Yoimiya, but I want to see how people use him.
Thoma is weird. I agree that he's ideal for burgeon teams, but he's tricky to build right.
Look, if you want one of those 5*s, then sure, pull away. But I wouldn't pull just for the 4*s because you can Bennett from the shop.
I'm new so c1 Bennet is a must. I just hope I don't vomit a lot of primo on the banners.

I'm personally ok with the banner, the only problem for me is that I just got C6 Benny from the shop 🤡 but other than that I still need 2 more Thoma cons and I'd love to get Sethos too so it's not so bad for me. Hopefully I get lucky so I can try for Furina too.

Update because I got really lucky: I got my first ever double in Alhaitham's banner at 40 pity, followed by Dehya, also my last two Thoma cons and one Sethos. I did 1 ten pull on the weapon banner and got Foliar too at like 16 pity. Now I have 100 pulls left for guaranteed Furina. I just know I'm never getting this lucky ever again, but I believe in Sumeru supremacy 😭
Thoma is kinda clunky for Burgeon, but the ER issue does get fixed the more constellations you get.
C2 I would say is the bare minimum, works with godlike ER substat rolls but still cringy enough that I usually pass on playing burgeon even when Abyss asks for it (e.g. Baptist).
Pre-C2, don't even bother. C4 pretty much solves the issue completely, the equivalent of an entire extra ER mainstat artifact over C2.
Personally I'm hoping to pick up a few more copies for C4 Thoma while pulling for Clorinde.
Use thoma for a Lnyey team and all your worries aren't that important he doenst need any EM cause all he's there for to make a shield and than u use Lyney

Thoma is a pain to play, I used ER sand and kitain, he needs MORE.
That's why i really need two more thoma for c4... Like he's struggling with er like xiangling
Suspect Thoma is there to incentives people to play/try certain reactions. One being those who have Chevrouse to try overload for Chloride. And two to try burn with Alhaitham. Because of the new artifact set. I personally chill with Thoma. He can be played multiple of ways. You can focus on his burst damage or just focus on his sheild. Think he gets too much hate at times.
Agreed. Then again, I got Thoma to c6 when he came out (my first c6 char too! lol) so I decided to build him for the heck of it and I always use him in Sumeru

Dehya better burgeon support than Thoma?
Thoma is better but much harder to build. since he needs high ER and EM mainstat is the rarest roll. Whereas dehya only needs EM so she's easier. But the EM options for greatsword suck.

I hope that I don't get Bennett ... my Benny is now at C6 and I never play him, I have get him so often that he would be now at least C15. lol

no
Alhaitham's cons in general are pretty bad, if you wanna make him better, you're better off getting nahida C2.
Short answer: No. The convenience and DMG increase of Alhaitham's cons are not as impactful to Alhaitham teams compared to pulling Nahida (or if you already have her, saving for her C2).
Long answer: His C1 reduces the cooldown of his skill, which gives you his dendro infusion back sooner (2 mirrors). However, Alhaitham's burst (3, 2, or 1 mirrors) and charged attack (1 mirror) also give you his dendro infusion sooner.
An ideal Alhaitham rotation involves using other unit's abilities to set Alhaitham up, then use Alhaitham's burst (3 mirrors), normal attack for 4 seconds with infusion until one mirror disappears, use his skill to top up his mirrors (+1 mirror), normal attack for 4 seconds with infusion until 1 mirror disappears, use his charged attack to top up his mirrors (+1 mirror), then normal attack until you need to refresh his teammate's abilities again.
Since Alhaitham has 3 ways to gain dendro infusion, you can easily do shorter variations of this rotation. Don't have his burst back? Skill + charged attack for 3 mirrors, normal attack until his mirrors are gone, then swap to someone else. This is where a teammate like Nahida comes in handy. I swap to her when I mess up Alhaitham's rotation. She makes great use of remaining teammate abilities, and generates dendro particles to charge up Alhaitham's burst for the next cycle. Alhaitham + Nahida teams are dual-DPS teams imo.
Alhaitham is flexible enough that cooldown reduction isn't that useful on him. Nahida (especially her C2, which allows dendro reactions to crit) is Alhaitham's C1.

I wanted C1 Alhaitham but since how trash the 4 stars are and no Kavah I'm skipping probably for Emilie if she's good or Yelan
His C1 is useless, you're better off pulling his sig weapon or saving for Furina C1-2 if you don't have them already

@@Andreas1931 Definitely! Furina's C1 will benefit Haitham a lot more (alongside every other character you play with Furina) than his own C1, which doesn't increase his dmg nor affects his gameplay at all.
Well, Bennett would be the worst because a lot had C6 him already.
Say RIP to the 4 stars. 😂 I am pretty sure Hoyo is making everyone wait for the archon rerun i.e. Furina rerun. Usually they give so much better 4 stars on these archon reruns. This is a total skip for me.

Bennit cons are so easy to get these days. Good for new players (Best atk buffer+heal)
Thoma is a shield character for me, emblem with hp artifacts.
Sara and fischl(Oz) are better than sethos.

@@DaninoMarochi Dude, his claim is not true at all. She will perform very well for an aggravate driver. I'm actually kinda butthurt because she will directly powercreep keqing (although not by much).
While I'll be pulling for al haitham, his damage is not what some people claim to be, yeah, his hyperbloom teams will do more damage than clorinde's aggravate teams, but that's because the yelan/nahida/kuki core is very strong, you can replace alhaitham in this team with an c6 fischl, and the damage will be virtually the same, but with easier rotations.
