A very personal song for me. Makes me smile to see you dig it. My blood flows and heart skips a beat to this. Great instrumentation and fantastic message. Burton C. Bell is a great vocalist and songwriter. A philosopher in my opinion. Thanks for this!!!
Man...there's something about this band...first time i heard them i was 13...now...almost 20y later i still get the goosebumps everytime i hear one of their songs...FF till the end!!
I haven’t even watched yet I just am so excited to see you review fear factory! It is so awesome to see people suggesting just the best music. never stop!!!🤘🤘🤘
Different drummer on almost each of these: Raymond Herrera (original) on Self Bias & Smasher, Gene Hoglan (the legend) on Powershifter and Mike Heller (current, I think) on Regenerate. Glad you're doing Fear Factory!
Ray Herrera played drums on the first 7 albums (Concrete - Transgression), then there was a major lineup change and Gene Hoglan played on 'Mechanize', only to be replaced by a drum machine for 'The Industrialist". Mike Heller played on 'Genexus'.
Man I love these guys. Saw them for the first time live in 1995 opening for megadeth with Korn. The lyrics and music are super intense. You can react to any of their songs and I’ll dig that
Saw that same show in Dallas. August of 95. Wanna say Flotsam and Jetsam were on the bill too. I immediately went and bought Demanufacture the next day and never looked back.
Fear Factory helped me get through Middle School and High School! I'm 31 now, and I've been feeling really down and... Hearing this song for the first time with Jamel, it hit me deep... Thank you Jamel, I needed THIS! ✊🏼
I can't tell you how happy I am to see this reaction. I felt the same way when I discovered this band. They were the opening for Rob Zombie on his Hell-Billie tour back in 98. I was in a down-swing in my life at that time. When I heard Fear Factory and the Obsolete album and the message, it helped me. All their messages on the albums, I felt the same way that you did when you listen to this. Thank you!
Thank you Jamal for the positive message yourself.. i needed to hear that exqactly this moment,, FEAR FACTORY FUCKING RULE been jammin out to em since high school and im 37 now still BLASTING THEIR ART ALOUD
Just in case you ever come back to Fear Factory; Shock, Archetype and Resurrection are the real deal. Underrated band for sure! Burton, the vocalist, is right in to story telling. Some of their albums are concepts, so the it follows a story start to finish. These guys were the founders of the Industrial Metal genre imo.
I wouldn't say they founded industrial metal, godflesh were around years before. They did however massively influence the groove and nu metal scene from the mid 90's to mid 00's. The vocal style particularly.
I wish more reaction channels would do Fear Factory. They are also hard for a reaction channel because you can’t give them just one shot. Their style changes constantly with every album. You literally have to do a deep dive to fully appreciate them.
Genexus is a concept album so I strongly recommend listening to it in its entirety. This song makes even more sense when put in the context of the story the album is telling.
Sounds like people should respect that this is Jamel's journey through music and we are here to aid that and enjoy the common validation that comes from it. Not here to rush or push the man. Come on now people behave!
Thoughts make feelings, feelings release chemicals, chemicals create reactions, reactions create actions, actions create change. We have more power than we are led to believe. Your thoughts matter and have an effect on the world around you. 🤘🤘🤘✌✌✌
Loving your reactions man! I'm a massive Fear Factory fan. You keep it real with your intention and your journey. I'm glad you're loving Fear Factory. I'm a drummer and this shit gets me so pumped. It's great when you want to get hyped or hit the gym etc. A few people have said it, but try "Expiration Date". It's a really beautiful tune and is Fear Factory's homage to Blade Runner. It's different too because it's their style, but a ballad - so a slow industrial metal ballad. The lyrics in that are so powerful. I want it played at my funeral. Keep on rocking brother \m/
Thank you for doing Fear Factory. Almost no one does. I could give you a massive list of recommendations but this time I’ll go with Edgecrusher and Linchpin. Also Resurrection.
It’s a coincidence I was listening to this band earlier before I got on here to see you did not one but four reactions on Fear Factory! Awesome songs to get introduced to this band. Other songs you might want to check out are Archetype, Linchpin and their cover of the song Cars.
I grew up with this band. I would eat, sleep, breathe, and bleed Fear Factory man. You should take an hour out of your life here on a day soon, sit down, no camera, no reaction, and listen to their album Obsolete from start to finish. It will send you through a rollercoaster of emotions, and will change your life. Some consider these guys to be the father's of industrial, and they are widely considered to be one of the most influential acts in metal history. Treat yourself bro, it's well worth the investment. Take care.
Dude thank you for reacting to this band. Have been one of my favorites since Soul Of A New Machine. The album this song is off of Genexus is a concept masterpiece. If you have the chance to listen to the album even in your own time I would highly recommend it 🤘🤘
Fear Factory is responsible for vast majority of metals sound from the late 90s to current. They are simple from a technical standpoint- but groundbreaking at the time from 1992-98. Nearly every band today will have these guys listed as an influence.
@@dannotwalruslarkin9324 Agreed. Some of their rhythms were ground breaking, pretty much the same way as Metallica are seen as basic but led the charge in the late 80's
Greetings from Brazil! I love your videos and the way you react to them. My family and I love it. As a Brazilian it would be an honor if you react to a great Brazilian singer called "Tim Maia" The song is called "Ela Partiu" Anyway thank you.
Most of their stuff is basically science fiction stories. Usually kind of loosely based around man vs intelligent machines. One album has excerpts to read between the songs that sets up the “scene” of the song and the album has characters and it’s a short story. A lot of the songs they do seem to be from the perspective of an intelligent machine.
Hell yes to the FF reactions! Would love to see you do one for "Replica" by them though, it's not their best but it defines the sound that really made the music world sit up and listen.
Your reactions give me chills, they take me back to when I first heard the very same music years ago...welcome to the rabbit hole and much love and respect brother...I think you would dig Sepultura like Refuse/Resist and Roots Bloody Roots and the band Soulfly as well...and lastly brother, more Deftones, Xerces, Minerva and Fireal please
subscribed... you seem to actually be exploring lots of different types of metal and rock. Keep up the good work. Good luck and i hope the best for you.
I am on this journey with you! Thanks for your reactions, I am enjoying these lyrics and realizing the talent that people have. 1. De La Soul- Stakes is High
Fear Factory is one of my favorite bands... with some great life messages in them. Granted, there are also wacky conspiracy theory songs that make me roll my eyes but they're amazing musicians nonetheless.
You are such a good dude. Genuine. I wish I could buy you some good ass food and just jab at ya. I wish you and your family the best. Keep up the great reactions.
Love your reactions bro. They make me laugh. Watched alot of your videos and some great music has been requested. Time to take it to another level...... SUICIDAL TENDENCIES- YOU CAN'T BRING ME DOWN
My man I've just going through a deep dive through most of your videos. I love your videos and that you do multiple songs from an artist at once and your choices of less obvious songs is fantastic. I'm loving your authenticity and following your music journey. Keep at it. I'm about to go back into your videos and check out some newer for me music and discover new stuff. If you get a chance please check out some queens of the stone age. They've got an electric discography and I think you'd enjoy them. Thanks
Love your approach, brother, finding inspiration and growing through different types of music. Regeneration has no end. I recommend Villagers of Ioannina City - For the innocent
You're gonna have to keep going back to the well with these guys, they have a lot of great songs that deserve a listen. Edgecrusher, Zero Signal, Lynchpin, Securitron, Christploitation, with Invisible Wounds (Dark Bodies) and Descent or Resurrection for some change of pace (softer for them) songs.
I love that you're digging this. Fear factory and one of the few bands that I still love from my teenage years.
The messages in their music increase in relevance the longer the underlying problems persist.
Well put.
How have I never heard this. Feel like I missed a lot of great music in life. Thanks for sharing this and everything else.
A very personal song for me. Makes me smile to see you dig it. My blood flows and heart skips a beat to this. Great instrumentation and fantastic message. Burton C. Bell is a great vocalist and songwriter. A philosopher in my opinion. Thanks for this!!!
LOVING all the Fear Factory Reactions! Regenerate changed my life
I am so glad a real RUclipsR is giving love to a band that is so over due!!! thank you!!
I love this guy's appreciation of what Fear Factory is......Prophecy
Thanks for covering Fear Factory. They have been my all-time favorite band since 1995. You should check out their slower song "Timelessness"
Man...there's something about this band...first time i heard them i was 13...now...almost 20y later i still get the goosebumps everytime i hear one of their songs...FF till the end!!
The best Fear Factory songs gallop
This one's unleashed
I haven’t even watched yet I just am so excited to see you review fear factory! It is so awesome to see people suggesting just the best music.
never stop!!!🤘🤘🤘
I have to go back and watch your first Fear Factory reaction you’re the best man🤘🤘🤘
I've been a Fear Factory fan since about '92... My tattoo (of their original logo) is over 20 yrs old...
Different drummer on almost each of these: Raymond Herrera (original) on Self Bias & Smasher, Gene Hoglan (the legend) on Powershifter and Mike Heller (current, I think) on Regenerate.

Yeah Fear Factory are one of those bands that have constant lineup changes. The only constants are Burton and Dino.
Dino even left for a while and Burton was the only OG member for a little while until Dino came back
Man I love these guys.
Yes you are right they were on that bill
Bro I'm eating this Fear Factory marathon up!!!!! Huge thumbs up to you!
Glade you are loving FF! My favorite band.
Loving your FF journey. They are phenomenal.
Love me some Fear Factory. First discovered them as a teen from the mortal kombat soundtrack.
FF - Final Exit
Edgecrusher is my favorite song of theirs.
He did Edgecrusher if you missed it.
@@Neal_RUclips I think you are mistaken.
@@nekrospike Boy was I. I was thinking Smasher/Devourer :-\
His playlist is Obsolete until he reacts to Edgecrusher 😉
Hunter killer tho lol
This reaction video singlehandedly got me back into Fear Factory. Love the channel and your perspective, man. Glad to have you doing what you do.
Fear Factory helped me get through Middle School and High School! I'm 31 now, and I've been feeling really down and... Hearing this song for the first time with Jamel, it hit me deep... Thank you Jamel, I needed THIS! ✊🏼

Love the melody this band has.
Hell yes. FF been crushing it for decades
Very heavily recommend Fear Factory - Shock. One of my favorite opening tracks of all time from one of my favorite albums of all time
I always thought this too. It’s one of the best opening songs to an album ever, and best opening songs when seeing them live.
Been rocking FF since the beginning. My favorite band💪💯💯
Thank you Jamal for the positive message yourself.. i needed to hear that exqactly this moment,, FEAR FACTORY FUCKING RULE
been jammin out to em since high school and im 37 now still BLASTING THEIR ART ALOUD
Welcome to the wonderful world of Fear Factory.
Invisible Wounds(Dark Bodies), Linchpin, Cars(cover), so much awesomeness from FF.
Edit, and Shock. I forgot that one.
Scumgrief
Amazing react! I frome Brazil but i love Fear factory!
Your reactions to the big FF are brilliant, man!!! They are in every way one of Metal's most important, influential and underrated bands.
Appreciate all the reactions you do. Top to bottom, everything. I love your love of music.
Absolutely love that you embrace the message in this song. Thank you for giving Fear Factory a shot!
This song has been on my gym playlist for a minute...coming up on 3 years clean & sober this song really resonates with me.
🤘🏻 regenerate🤘🏻
their song "Resurrection" has a similar message, as you can guess from the title - another banger
I second the Resurrection request.
I feel it's their overall best song :)
Yeah, Resurrection is fantastic
Beat me to it......I was going to HIGHLY recommend that one, as well. That one's amaaaaaazing.
@@OneThousandHomoDJs Al Jourgensen 2020, maybe we can get Jamal to do some Ministry!

Burton is a phenomenal vocalist as well. And he still has it! He has a unique style that is unmistakable, clean or when going for it.
Congrats on reaching 200.000 subs!! You deserve it! Great rection as always. Fear Factory is sick.
It's a great concept album mate. And I think the fact that they chose this as the single was very clever
My second favorite of their albums after Demanufacture! They nailed these concept albums like no one else!
Sounds like people should respect that this is Jamel's journey through music and we are here to aid that and enjoy the common validation that comes from it. Not here to rush or push the man. Come on now people behave!
Oh, relax. No one is rushing him to do anything. lol
Slave labor is a great fear factory song
Great opener for an album like most of their album openers.
Amazing song and album !
Slave Labor is my all time favorite of theirs. My first time seeing them in 2004 they opened with slave labor. It was fucking amazing.
Actually my first introduction to them back in 2005 when searching new songs in the LimeWire days and now my all time favorite band since then!
