My personal way of using issued socks to blouse and square away Army boots. Convenient, quick, comfortable.
The boots I use are "SFB Field 8 coyote Gen1" Which they currently don't produce anymore. it is at Gen 2 now. #bootblouse #boots #howTo

That's outstanding. The Corps made us use boot bands; you know, the guaranteed item to let the enemy know where we were.
How the fuck would the enemy know where you are because of boot bands? Also what's stopping you from not using those in the field? Nothing.

Super cool Sgt. Flores, I’m retired US Army and I used to use blousing rubbers which held my pant legs. Your idea is great.

I'm out now, so I no longer wear pants that have strings on em (wish all pants did) bc that's the fastest way once you get used to it. Faster than the little px goodies lol...BUT THIS IS GREAT! I inline skate now and cuffing looks so meh. I appreciate ya, bro. Had a SFC Flores in my unit and he was hardcharging af. 👍
I go the dollar store and buy the female hair ties and use those as blouse bands. They give your about eight ties so if you lose a set you have additional. If they break you didn’t come out of pocket to much. Also you can use them secure lose wire and things on your gear as well.

This is similar to how I've been doing it, except I'll use those sweat wristbands to tighten the blouse if I expect I'll be doing a lot of moving around

In Poland we just tuck pants into boots- it doesn't limit blood circulation, and support your ankle much better, what is more pants don't fall off because we use straps which go under the feet and secure pants - it works a lot better to be honest, and looks just as good as blousing
If you have pants that can be tied or velcroed around your boot then why do you still have to blouse high? If the point of blousing is to keep your pants sealed from the bottom. Is that the point?

When I was in the 82nd a lifetime ago, blousing bands were prohibited. We considered them REMF.
I understand Marines use them though. I never liked the bands anyway.

It's hard to explain without a video, but we'd grab the hem at the back of the leg, and pull the pants snug against our shin. Wrap your hand around the outside of the ankle, and fold the back over your fingers.
I would use those wide elastic bands with the hook and loop ends to secure my pants while I put my boots on. The bands would be loose enough, and the crappy hook and loop weak enough, that I could snatch them out the top of my boots before tightening the laces.

Just use blousing rubbers. Worked for us back when we had to starch fatigues and tuck shirts in.
Soldier! I’ll just stick to pull on high top boots it makes it easier to tuck in everything including the full thermal set or suit of clothes underneath like underwear and pants such as jeans or slacks and cargos.

Huh, amazingly not sure how this was recommended to me, but as a SSG, I thought I was the only one who did this. The only step for maximum is efficiency you’re missing is tying a knot in the end of your laces. Then just do a simple bow, the knots stop it from you pulling out the single ends, and instead of wrapping them around your leg, you can shove those up in there too. I like this way being in the field a lot. Keeps you from chaffing from your socks or blouse while maintaining a tight seal to stop bugs and what not.
The tying a knot in the lace is all good until you try and pull your boot off. Takes at least a few minutes.

Yeah, a lot of people just tuck them into your boots. Just make it look good. I see people blouse over their boots and down to their ankles, just don’t blouse so that you see like 2-3 inches of fucking sock cuz you look like an idiot.

You should put the blousing band/sock under one of the boot eyelets that hold the laces but only the first one so it doesn't show your socks
