How do you clean the fabric mesh part inside the drum? It’s covered in pee. I use Sophresh, so it doesn’t clump the pee. Does it seeps through the material?

I haven't had any obvious issue with the drum retaining smells. I try to stay on top of it by doing a full clean out every 6-8 weeks. When I fully empty the drum, I spray it down with an enzymatic odor remover. Let that sit for a few minutes and then wipe it down. I use this one: geni.us/xNzaE (Amazon paid link)
