As a local I would recommend asking more locals for advice on great and cheap restaurants or take away's next time your on the island. There are many great local spots to eat at or just grab food for take out similar or better than Zeerovers.
Thank you the suggestion! I talked to the captain of our snorkeling trip for some ideas but I’ll ask more locals next time! A lot of people kept saying the cuisines offered instead of restaurants - what are some of your favorites?? @AruwakEM
Hooiberg Mountain, Jolly Pirates Boat, Baby Beach, Alto Vista Chapel, California Lighthouse....You've seen the entire island. Just kidding. It's different. It's beautiful. I've been there 3 times. I love it. Can't wait to go back.
After watching many of these videos, one thing stands out. Whenever tourists mention that the prices are expensive at restaurants, they've only mostly gone to restaurants "in walking distance of the resorts", in other words, tourist traps. Sure, some of them, like Daniels steakhouse are worth the price, but most are not. Zeerover for instance was surely cheap. Pretty much all the local restaurants were left unexplored.
I absolutely agree with you! We didn’t have a car most of the days so walking distance was all we really had... Like I said in the video, Zeerovers was really inexpensive and our favorite restaurant!
I don’t believe so! Just a verified PCR test for entry - we got ours from Walgreens. I would check the site as the CDC has made changes for those coming back to the US.
Yes! We got it for free on our insurance. It took about 2 days to get the results via email. When you get the results you’ll want to download them to your phone as you have to show them to airport officials.
All of the videos of palm beach were the same - no crowds. We couldn’t believe have empty it was compared to other beaches we’ve been to! The resorts have a lot of cabanas and umbrellas you can use depending where you stay. The front half of the beach (closest to the water) is public so you can lay down anywhere. Let me know if you have any other questions.
It was the MedCare clinic right by the Courtyard Marriott. I got an antigen test ($50 per person). There is a link in my video description for the testing!
It was extremely windy in Aruba so we couldn’t do the commentary like we planned on the beach. You’ll see that in other’s videos where you can’t hear a thing they say...plus it’s our first one. Thanks for the feedback!
Be sure to switch your video viewing settings to 4K and view the video timeline/links to mentioned sites in our description!
Going there next week, this was super helpful. Thanks!
Have fun!!! It’s amazing
NICE VIDEO
Thank you! Watch our other videos - we are starting to create videos for our travel.

You didn’t have to have a PCR test from a specific location, correct?
I don’t believe so! Just a verified PCR test for entry - we got ours from Walgreens. I would check the site as the CDC has made changes for those coming back to the US.
Is it the diagnostic lab test (PCR) from Walgreens?
Yes! We got it for free on our insurance. It took about 2 days to get the results via email. When you get the results you’ll want to download them to your phone as you have to show them to airport officials.
