In regards to Joyce's death. One of the later episodes, I think 21? When Buffy is talking to Giles about Glory and Dawn. She talks about how everything's hard. "I don't know how to live in this world..." She talks for about two minutes - and to wrap it all up, she ends it with "I just wish my mom was here." My heart dies. I bawl like a baby when she says that line. Because it's the farthest thing from the audience's mind the whole time she's speaking. It just makes her appear like a hurt child.
This and "Run" were always my favorite Thomas Wanker tracks. This track appeared in season 6 often too, during the really depressing times. Great track.
Thank you to all the people who have commented on this and my other Buffy remake. I apologise about not having made any more, but my dvd collection of the series is a bit hit and miss when it comes to working so it's hard for me to find what you're looking for. Also, I've been tinkering with my own compositions, so please take the time to have a look at Surrender. :) Happy New year.
BTVS was and still my all time fav show. Joyce’s death strikes a chord with me so much because the series of events were so eerily similar to my moms. I was in my early 20s, just like Buffy. My mom died of a brain hemorrhage, just like Joyce. I came home and found my mom, just like Buffy. The only difference was my mom was not completely dead at that point, but she was pretty much there. I called her the ambulance and watched her being put on life support in the emergency room. May 3 was the date of her first emergency visit and May 7 was the date of her passing. 2 days before Mothers Day. The hardest week of my life. 😢😢 RIP Mom. She always looked watching BTVS with me 😢😢
Wow, thank you so much for doing this! I have listened to this part over and over again via the episode and this is amazing. Thank you so much, I am a huge Buffy fan.
Guys! This track is finally available on a special collectors Buffy score soundtrack collection from La La Land Records. Lots of new Christophe Beck scores on it too!!!
You are so awesome for making this, like "my hero" kind of awesome. Thanks so much, keep up the good work, any more of Season 5 and I will love you long time!
WOOOWWWWW... You are amizing. Please do more Buffy stuff :):) You are really best :) I don't know how to thank you. I love Buffy and the music in the show sooo much and It brings back the memories. So please do more :)
this song and pictures remind me of the day i lost my grand parents they were both in world war two, they died a few years after world war two... thank toy for putting this video up
Thanks folks. (To kp3c) The easiest and fastest way I have found to download from youtube (which is easier than me uploading stuff so others can DL it from me) is to use zamzar - select 'Download videos' and if you don't want the visual part you can convert the file to an mp3 by choosing the mp3 format from the drop down. RUclips apparently won't let me link it to you, but if you google it it will be the top hit. Down side is this site has pop ups but other than that it works really well!
The original was composed by Thomas Wanker (unfortunate surname, I know) I think, but I haven't been able to find the original piece ANYWHERE. I have found audio rips from the episode, but they weren't very good quality. I would love to find the original piece in its pure form... If anyone knows where to get it, PLEASE let me know! This was very good by the way...
The REAL version of this (+ so much more) was released on CD this year!! :D lalalandrecords.com/buffy-the-vampire-slayer-collection-limited-edition-4-cd-set/
The fact that this video currently has almost 28,000 views is a testament to the fact that people WANT to get their hands on this piece of the Buffy score. If anyone wants to write to the original composer and enquire about how to obtain the original composition that was heard on the show, you can reach him via his website, thomaswanderDOTcom. He used to be called Thomas Wanker, but changed his name to Thomas Wander (for obvious reasons).
@tararaboomdia0101: If by 'put up' you mean get back to Garageband and remake it from scratch, it's possible. Could take me a while but it's possible. It would help if I knew which episode it comes from so I can find it in my collection without actually digging through every dvd.
I'm not sure Miriam, in fact people have told me it has no name. Finding it should be tough anyway as the composer never released his tracks (unlike Christophe Beck who did the early seasons).
Amazing!! Would love it if you could make the beautiful music from the last scene of the episode "Wild At Heart", season 4. When Oz leaves Willow. So hunting! :)
Sorry dolnikxd, If I'd known the name of the actual piece I'd have put it in. As this is not a piece that Wanker released, it's not on any compilation sadly, hence the need to recreate it.
When I saw this episode for the first time I had not yet found my mother dead I would a few years later wasn't the first thing I thought of but it wasn't the last thing I thought of either when I found her was the fact we both be and I had both found her mother's dead
I know that this is wayyy old but if there was any way you could do the 'weight of the world' theme from season six by thomas wanker (wander) that would be amazing!!

Love That moment.
Tony Bradly yes to this day that part makes me sad also
That's from "The Gift". Buffy is talking to Giles in the room behind the Magic Box. The score used is Sacrifice, not this one.
The shadow of zombie Joyce walking past the window while Buffy and Dawn were arguing creeped me out as a kid.
This and "Run" were always my favorite Thomas Wanker tracks.
This track appeared in season 6 often too, during the really depressing times.
Great track.
This is easily one of my favorite Buffy songs. Perfection.
Glad you enjoyed it. I wish I could experience Buffy again like I did as a kid.
Thank you to all the people who have commented on this and my other Buffy remake. I apologise about not having made any more, but my dvd collection of the series is a bit hit and miss when it comes to working so it's hard for me to find what you're looking for.

Losing my father to COVID in 2020, this song these scenes in the episode are completely different to me now.......
I’m so sorry

Side note. The music is from Forever. The body didn't have music.

The First Noel by The Boston Pops Orchestra (I was in it ;)it's the Christmas dinner scene. :)
Guys!
This track is finally available on a special collectors Buffy score soundtrack collection from La La Land Records.
Lots of new Christophe Beck scores on it too!!!
whats it called i looked it says funeral but it does not have this music
@tararaboomdia0101 - when Anya says " no one will tell me why " that's when I lost it. Great vid by the way.
You are so awesome for making this, like "my hero" kind of awesome. Thanks so much, keep up the good work, any more of Season 5 and I will love you long time!
@JackMcPhee Agreed. This is truly perfect. Makes me cry, too. Buffy is by far the best series ever made.
thanks for posting this...GREAT job on the arrangement. I love Buffy fans.
I believe that in Season Two, Christoph Beck was still composing.
Wooow, thanks so much for sharing this! I thought it was the original composition.
This tune is soo beautiful I only get emotional when Buffy The Vampire Slayer sad momens and beautiful moments are on!
See this is my favourite score from Buffy, I'm so thankful you made it.
@JackMcPhee
LOL Hmm well that made my day :) Thanks and glad you enjoyed it.
WOOOWWWWW... You are amizing. Please do more Buffy stuff :):) You are really best :) I don't know how to thank you. I love Buffy and the music in the show sooo much and It brings back the memories. So please do more :)
This episode.....I cry buckets of fucking tears
My otp is Buffy x happiness!
It's not canon yet...

Well, now I'm crying. This is the only show that does this to me. Why, Joss, WHY!?
yes! thank you :) it's such a beautiful piece of music.
this song and pictures remind me of the day i lost my grand parents they were both in world war two, they died a few years after world war two... thank toy for putting this video up

this is really good and sounds just like the original score, kudos :)
@Sentogray ya probably found it by now but it's from "once more with feeling" the musical episode :)
The original was composed by Thomas Wanker (unfortunate surname, I know) I think, but I haven't been able to find the original piece ANYWHERE. It's on the new Buffy soundtrack: www.lalalandrecords.com/Site/Buffy.html

Sentogray now it’s been released ❤️❤️❤️
Robert J. Kral was a composer in season 2 @jakethecrow95
Amazing!! Would love it if you could make the beautiful music from the last scene of the episode "Wild At Heart", season 4. When Oz leaves Willow. So hunting! :)

I cried so much in this episode.....
great video. ^_^ If you find out the name of the song, could you please tell me?
Pllleeeeeh, stupid iPhone. As I was saying, some Buffy moments seem so much sadder just because of this piece of music...
Some moments in Buffy seem
What was cool about "The Body" is that there was no score.
@tararaboomdia0101 Season 6 is by far the most emotional season.
I also believe that but, aswell as Christophe Beck there was some other guy I just can't find the tune anywhere!: /
When I saw this episode for the first time I had not yet found my mother dead I would a few years later wasn't the first thing I thought of but it wasn't the last thing I thought of either when I found her was the fact we both be and I had both found her mother's dead
👍👍
Who composers the music in Season 2 Killed By Death?
whats the official title name of the song? i want to hear the original version..
I know that this is wayyy old but if there was any way you could do the 'weight of the world' theme from season six by thomas wanker (wander) that would be amazing!!
I wish I could take credit for the composition, alas, only the arrangement was my doing,
i wish i knew the name of these music anyone knows???
Jesus, what is this man doing to me...
where can i get this score in good quality
