I seen her in northern Ohio she was 26yrs. old and was most beatiful girl i ever seen & still is the most beautiful girl to this day & i mean all the way through, just love her. Was there with friend working on a Foutain boat on lake erie. Doc the guy that owned the boat indroduced us to her Judy which was Halle's mom. Her mom said she changed her name from Maria to Halle which was her favorite dept. store in Cleveland. After leaving coming back to Youngstown she was the only thing i kept picturing in my mind and told my friend she will always be beautiful cause she is just the picture of true beauty. The fact that she had to wait for Blake Lively to allow her to give her permission to have the script is kind of messed up. HALLE BERRY is an Oscar Winning Icon. She should be able to get first pick of scripts. She has paid her dues more than enough. Who is Blake Lively in comparison? Nothing against her. But it’s just so irritating how much Halle doesn’t get the credit she deserves for her incredible work.

That was pretty shocking. 6 months for Blake Lively is laughable.
It has NOTHING to do with Halle Berry (or Blake or anyone else) getting credit or how great you think they are. It has to do with contracts. As Halle says in this interview, it was written for another type of person and it makes sense that the writer or producer sent it out to actresses who matched the script. When a project is offered people are allowed a certain amount of time to read it and think about it and maybe see if it will fit into their schedule for the year, etc, etc. There are any number of reasons and time frames. Halle just needed to wait for Blake’s options and time to expire before she got her chance at it. It’s not personal or a statement on the value of a person, it’s just a contract and in this case, first right of refusal. I would guess that when it was offered to Blake they had no idea that Halle would be interested. She probably hadn’t even read it yet. Not messed up, not a personal attack, not a contest between Halle and Blake. Just business.
Turning everything into a personal attack is a huge mistake. It blinds one to the truth of a situation or the reality around you.

It’s when they develop their ignorant stories with a victim mentality that I find not only incorrect but destructive. Getting others all upset when the premise is ignorant and wrong to begin with. Framing the situation from a victim point of view.
On my channel (I ride a motorcycle) I recorded a car crash right in front of me. I made 4 video (33, 34, 35, 36) going over the footage and the original ride and walking through the crash scene in videos 33 and 34. In 35 I have a running commentary on the crash and how I got through it (one of the car’s wheels broke off and almost hit me) hoping to help other riders. 36 is just a short Crash Only video about 2 minutes long. I don’t think I even talk on it. Someone writes to me that I should have turned around and gone back to the crash to check on people. I told him that just because it’s not on RUclips does not mean it did not happen. As a matter of fact I did go back and talk as seen on 33 and 34. I guess that guy never heard of or did not understand how editing works.
WIth this guy I noticed he was getting a lot of thumbs-up so I reposted and expanded my response to give a more fair chance for people to see it and understand that really it’s about contracts and giving people time to make a decision. Ironically professionals like Halle and Blake probably understand all this perfectly but it’s self-destructive victims like this guy who start fights.
