I represented Great Britain in the 1988 Summer Olympics as Captain of the Men's Freestyle Lighter Snaffle Team.

He’s a terrible performer , I can see how his tricks are done before I saw this video, they are not even original, seen the walking on Perspex, Angel, seen the bend back, Michael Jackson etc. Really lame tricks.

I keep being baffled by how much preparation, precision, accuracy, timing and planning it takes. For me, Dynamo's magic is real. It takes a lot to be THIS dedicated, precise, organised and still be very entertaining!

@@uknownm5994 what apparenty the "ice" is just a mechanic layer and moves up until it reaches his hands, and the "waterfall" always has the "ice" inside of it, so they stop the water from flooding so the ice becomes visible

Hi, Please read slowly: The bottle has a removable bottom, you can buy these in novelty stores. As was shown in the video, the stooges are in place for a reason, to assist in the tricks/magic. If a magician is well practiced they can have a "slight of hand" faster than the human eye can trace. It takes practice to convince an audience that the trick is real and it is successful if the magician can leave an audience scratching their heads asking "how did they do that?" The cables that elevate Dynamo are hidden by editing the video as said in the narrative. The camera angle gives the illusion Dynamo is higher than the buildings. You can do this at home with two poles: rig the wires or string onto two poles, attach an object you want to "levitate" but film it from the ground level angle as in the video. Because there is nothing in the background or foreground to compare it to, only sky, then the illusion is pulled off. Have you seen a moon so huge that it practically swallows up a forest yet when you drive out of the forest the moon is "small" again? It's all a matter of perspective. I watched a magician one, up close and personal pull grapefruit out of mid air. No sleeves, arms outstretched with my eyes glued to the trick. I didn't allow my eyes to be diverted to anywhere, my sole focus was the hands in front of me. This man pulled the grapefruit out of midair. If I hadn't witnessed it, I wouldn't believe it could be done but he did it. That was a practiced magician. In my opinion the word "magic" is interchangeable with "illusion." The trick, illusion, magic, whatever you want to call it is for entertainment. You wouldn't view a historic play and think of the actors as the real people, they are playing a role to give the illusion that they are the real characters to make it believable. That is why there are grammy's and oscars and other award shows for best actor/actress. I'm sure if you look it up there are awards for best magicians also. Sit back and enjoy the show, let it be what it is, "fantasy will set you free."

about the glass trick: when dynamo is walking on water how did the motor boats of police can get there
the drove to the very edge, I haven't watched this video but I seen that before. they were just basically chilling where the platform ended

Can you do an expose on the Apollo moon landings? If you can explain these with decent detail, you can do the same with the moon landings. If you can't figure it out, I can give you the trick details.
If there were nails driven in his shoes and had mechanical leg support to perform the one legged levitation, how is it possible that he can accurately and suddenly find the lock where the nails underneath his shoes hook up to on the ground when he is about to perform the one legged levitation? How is it possible for him to walk correctly in a natural walking posture without the mechanical leg support making any clinching noise or discomforting him after he is finished performing the one legged levitation?
This is what magic actually is, for me. Being able to move so quickly and have something so amazing planned, for a couple of minutes of performance. If you think about it, if it really were magic, it wouldn't even be that impressive. Just like an ability he was born with and just displaying it for others to see. When there's so much work involved, the respect should be higher.

This is the wrong attitude Aston. There was a show a decade ago that revealed the most popular magic tricks , and the reasoning for revealing all the tricks was so that magicians were forced to come up with new stuff so magicians don't reuse the same old tricks.

In this day and age I think we all know these are stunts using props, stooges, CGI & video editing but still great to see the creative ways that the artists/actors present them in a day to day setting.
Of course all these are tricks of some kind but they are still brilliant and amazing and even knowing how its done doesn't really lessen the wonder. They take enormous planning and skill to pull off and imagination and inventiveness to conceive .

you can see that a canoe is going over the place he walked on, so how did the plexiglass not hit the canoe? honestly don't you think it would be seen by passers-by, when a team would place plexiglass in the river? would be quite a work to cut all the tubes to the right size as the river bed isn't flat.

Well planned magic tricks are great - but by using video effects in post production (levitation trick) really sucks and makes Dynamo less attractive to watch
