Great video! I’m currently doing a DR Z400S build myself in a very similar fashion. Mine is a 2000 model with 4700 miles that I bought for $3250. Getting most of my parts from Rocky Mountain as well, and some from Amazon. Thanks for sharing what you did. You reminded me that I should probably change my fork oil too.
It’s been a great bike so far. If you can deal with the seat height a used DRZ makes for a pretty cost effective dual sport / light adventure bike. Thanks for watching.
You did a great job on your wives bike..
Little beast.
Thanks, forgot to mention it also has a Rekluse.

Need to go for a ride. Might take it to work Wednesday.

Did you install 2 petcocks(left and right) on the acerbis tank?
Keep producing more videos about the drz
No it seems to be doing OK with the single petcock. I’m keeping an eye on it though.
Bike looks great! You did a great job. How comfortable is that seat?
1000x better than the stock seat. LOL.
@@MikesProjectsandHobbiesMC I swapped stock seat on VROD to a Sundowner. Omg that was Sooo comfortable! Big difference. I get it.
