So glad I came across this channel. Been looking for something like it forever. I’ve been playing Pokémon since Red/Blue but always had a soft spot for Gen III, and I got into it again Summer 2023. Bought old cartridges, modded old consoles. I wanted to beat the Battle Frontier with my own favorites instead of the super optimized generic teams. So cool to see you doing the same. Your shinies are incredible! They have such nice colors and they are legit. Amazing! I can imagine how much time you invested in getting them. Congratulations on this new saga! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your team in the Battle Frontier
For me It's insane that you play these games completely legitimately, like, even with the Tm's and some items (like rare candies for training) you don't use the clone glitch! I would get crazy having to start a whole save file just to get another Earthquake Tm again! I trully feel that those confort changes were needed in gen 3, like unlimited Tm's like in newer gens. But I do appreciate that you play these games the way they were intended! By the way, thank you for the inspiration to get the shiny larvitar! Got it last week on my fire red!

Really nice team overall, shame about the lack of special/physical split in these games. Maybe consider a flying move on the charizard to augment its coverage ?
Great video as always. These videos are what keep me going on my own battle frontier grind. I think someone mentioned before about the clone glitch to duplicate items. Personally I use it for ease but I understand if you dont want to risk losing any of your data. Keep making these videos. Theyre my guilty pleasure to watch after work
i like to save in front of kekleon and teach my pokemon hidden power to see what type they have. hard to know the base power without a calc online but the coverage might help charizard

That being said, imo your Charizard seems to slot in this team in a "fill" role where Metagross and Umbreon could feasibly handle most fights by themselves. You mentioned substitute and I think that would pair incredibly with salac and blaze ability. Looking on Serebii, I see Char gets access roar or swagger too and either of those could give Charizard a more defined role on this squad! because I agree it could have more battle presence! Also, endure + salac + blaze could go very hard if you predict well!!

Hmm roar and swagger could be decent options. Maybe roar would be good to get more information. Charizard is pretty fast too!
Niceee! My pokemon emerald file on my phone got corrupted after transfering and thus I lost all the 7 silver symbols I had collect. Years after that (now) I bought 2 gameboys with Emerald, Ruby, Fire Red & Leafgreen and I'm preparing another attempt at silver & gold
@@nostalgicnighthawk Broke my heart ngl, I quit for like 2 years after that.. I had soo many Ev-trained mons on there, like 60-70 pokemons walls, spec atks, physical attackers, speed demons, I had it all.. (I ran 2 emulators at the same time often to trade)
@@Waryfuls heres a tip for ya to strongly consider. learn about making backups of save files for your games and store them on a usb and do that maybe every 1-2 weeks or once a month if you play a lot. Even if someone steals your cartridge or you lose it, **knock on wood**, you can still have it and even play on an emulator or vice versa
hi im new to ev training, i been ev training my modest mewtwo for sp atk and speed. ive fought like 900 numels and 900 pokemons for speed. did i over do it. Also i started ev training kyorge just like your videos. when im done ev training kyogre can i get em to lvl100 battling the 2 trainers on island 7 or would that ruin the stats??
def over did it on the ev training! I have a whole video on it! Once the ev points are used up on the pokemon, they cannot be overwritten. So it will not ruin its stats.

The quest for Salac berry could be its own video. You need to earn like 15000 coupons for a single berry!

breeding for shinies just takes a while. I wouldnt say hard. Just time consuming
