A visit to an incense factory in the industrial outskirts of Delhi reveals the circularity of the industrial production process, where each individual worker repeats the same small step endlessly, unaware of the final result, without any sense of completion or accomplishment. Men and machines in perfect synchrony, an endless cacophony of individual voices repeating the same mantra day after day. The same quick movement, the same touch, the hand that restores the human to the the heart of the machine.
