Thanks for watching. We never tried this ourselves but the hike up to the ridge before Stokkvika is fairly steep and should preferably be attempted in fairly dry weather. Have a look at the page on the long crossing at Rando Lofotens page for a really good in depth description. But beware that it was written a few years ago. There is a new ferry company that runs the ferry in Reinefjorden so new number if you plan to call them and book a drop off/pickup in Forsfjorden. You can walk around that bit but it’s a tough section that most people try to avoid. Best of luck! Ivar

Did you try to extend the hike to stokvikka?I wonder if this part will be challenging- i want to do long crossing of lofoten
