So wait, Bloodmoon Reaver is completely useless? Because it doesn't actually do anything with the poison on the Reaper Form tree? Damn that sucks, I wanted to make a bleed lich starter for this cycle.
So the benefits you get currently that are confirmed are that reap applies bleed, scales with your physical damage instead of necrotic and 10% flat pen in reaper form which is from the bloodmoon reaver node obviously. The only 'poison' node on the tree confirmed to be working in tandem is the herald of rot node when you transform applying bleed rather than poison, the wording on the others is strange and confirmed by EHG Mike in discord that it probably should work but wasn't implemented for 1.1. Hopefully they revisit as this could be a very, very strong build with those nodes active.
@@RicjasonEliseo yeah I actually tested quite a lot with valdyrs but didn't really feel the difference tbh. I think if you can get one with high LP it's worth trying to get defenses on it as it will be better especially for bossing :)
Thanks! So it should have been put there but on league start I swapped bone curse for it and forgot to change the buttons on the planner, just straight swap for bone curse :)
So there is currently no way to make the hits of chaos bolt directly poison unless you have it from your gear which means scaling wise it won't go too high. Bleed is definitely the easiest way to scale the damage currently as a lich.
@@bowlleee I played warlock after release and bleed was so bad that I’m still thinking it’s a waste of time for end game. Thank you for the advice. Might try it this time around but I doubt they fixed anything
@@YordanHristooov Warlock is very strong with bleed now probably stronger than lich as they can cast chaos bolts through cthonic fissure meaning they don't have to stand still and channel
