This definitely seems like a fun mod with an extra challenge for cold environments that lack the actual danger aspect. I especially like the music (though I'll have to find the actual music & listen to it at 1× speed since I watch/listen to everything at 2× speed)

I wish there was a mod that made oceans deeper and full on trenches Instead of ocean just being like 60 blocks deep it could go to like 200 or something for basic seafloor, and to bedrock with trenches
I know on modrinth there is a 3x deeper oceans mod. Other stuff like tectonic and tetralogy add biomes like trenches and shelves. Some of the stuff in tectonic is so deep that you have to use conduits or modded scuba sets to get to the bottom

Cool mod, although abyssal armor's destruction when the buff ends is a bit harsh, in my opinion. I can see it being somewhat useful in a hardcore playthrough (although, since you still die no matter what, its use is extremely limited), but I would never wear that helmet in normal mode.
fact about the abyssal armor, if you get the crystallization effect, no matter what armor it is(even unbreakable ones) it'll break but, if you take off all armors, than nothing will break
Especially with the fact that summoning Captain Cornelia puts the text "The Ghost of Captain Cornelia has awakened!" in purple in the chat. Although if you want a Terraria mod style Minecraft mod, I highly recommend Cataclysm. The final boss of that mod is really well made and incredibly difficult, regardless of what other mods you are using (because it's armor and damage scale based on your health, and it can never take more than 20 damage in one hit.) Plus, the boss is summoned using Burning Ashes placed in an altar found in the nether. Kinda like a certain brimstone witch...
i feel bad for the pillagers, while yes, they did kidnap the villagers, but if they just let the villagers free (and kill the pillagers/escape) then the villagers would still gain nothing and hae to survive on their own and the monsters have made them keep their guard high at all times, so when they see the player their first instinct is to fire the loot thats in their shelter? thats the (valuable) salvaged remains what wouldve been used as reserve materials also imagine this: youre stranded in an extremely cold place and have managed to build an emergency shelter from the scraps that youve salvaged from your wrecked boat THEN SUDDENLY SOMEBODY WHO CAN CARRY THE WHOLE WORLD IN THEIR POCKETS SHOW UP AND MURDER EVERYONE INCLUDING YOU you also wouldnt like that would you?

How you're idea make showcase on Majuresz's progressive difficulty mod. That cool mod that add progressive difficulty like in Terraria. Most normal showcase was from yorkmouse, but information in that video not actual. That mod is most undervalued.

Lycanite's mobs lets you command a small army of its mobs if you can survive the first ten minutes

I can't find underground shelters anywhere, is it just bad luck? Or is the probability of generation just extremely low? (Playing ver 1.20.1)
Shelters are less likely to spawn in small biomes. Please search for it in a fairly large biome or use the /locate structure command.
