A realistic setup is always more fun than those crazy 120 yarders on deer. I'm thinking you guys really enjoyed this one. A lot of good solid kill hits too. Do you ever go to a local 3-d or any ASA or IBO shoots? 👍👍
We had a blast! We go to several local 3-D shoots over the summer but unfortunately we don’t have much for ASA or IBO shoots close to us so we have never shot them. The guys that do it professionally are on a completely other level than us. I’m not sure we’d be much competition for them!
Bow Only Outdoors there are hunter classes. With equipment restrictions to like normal hunting setup. So you would be competing with like the same setups. And the max yardage is 55 yards.
That looks like a very fun course to shoot especially for someone who doesn't have the opportunity to hunt elk. I managed to get my sight tape dialed in earlier today and on my second test shot to verify the tape my string broke on my bow and the arrow disappeared into oblivion.
If your draw length is off even slightly, it can make it much more challenging. With proper form, as long as you keep your shoulders level with where you’re aiming, it isn’t all that much harder.
My first ever deer hunt this October In upstate NY. If I buy your flight out to NJ would you be interested in training me for 2 days to better improve my bow and shooting capabilities? Maybe it’ll make for a good video. I live right next to Manhattan, so you can explore the city after?
Unfortunately, my time is short. But I would love to help in anyway I can. If you have any specific questions, please email us at bowonlyoutdoors.co@gmail.com and we would be happy to help. - Josh
RMEF course looks awesome. When the other courses throw something small in there, it's like, come on man... ain't nobody shooting at a rabbit on the side of a hill from 70 yards lol
From a viewers stand point. Thanks for the slow mo. It's best to film behind on the opposite bow side. As it is nou, we can see the arrow leaving the bow until the shooter drops his bow and then blocks the target and we loose the flight of the arrow. Just Constructive criticism from a viewer not meant to be mean.
I think that was my favorite course! Tons of fun to watch.
Looked like a fun time. Nice shooting.
You two are incredible shots! Very impressive!
Thank you!
Great video as always fellas!!
Thanks Devon!
Great shooting! It's great to see your passion for shooting. I'll be going to my first RMEF banquet in another week and can't wait!
Awesome like always
Nice shooting boys!
Would love RMEF course at Boyne Mountain next year.

Super shots ♥️ what is lbs
Great shooting guys !!! As usual.
What poundage are you shooting and what preference do you use for target arrows?
Thank you! Low 70s for bow poundage and we just use our hunting arrows.

Oh no! That’s too bad! Hopefully you can get it fixed in time for season!
@@BowOnlyOutdoors planning on dropping it off at my local bow shop in the morning to get a new string put on.
Does shooting normal uphill and downhill affect your ability to shoot a resistance release?
Nice shooting!
