I always have an eyelash curler in my makeup pouch....

Same! My makeup bag is just something I switch over to every bag I take with me. Even if I'm not wearing makeup when I leave the houes that day, you never know what you're gonna need :P

if you have a lighter, open it with the end of the lighter. you push it up against the cap and the pressure will open it :)
Just use a paper towel or a couple of tissue papers, and open the bottle like you would open a regular bottle..

You can fix it with rubbing alcohol. Just mix it with the powder, make a paste, put it back in and try give it its round shape back with your fingers. The alcohol will evaporate and leave you with your powder back to life

Isn't gelatine made from the crushed up bones of cows, which means it's not vegetarian friendly.

gelatine is made up from bones of animals, mostly cows. some vegetarians can take gelatine if they arent super strict, vegans however cant. There is a vegan option of gelatine called agar agar using plant extract if im not wrong, they are basically the same thing, just depends on personal preference/dietary needs and personal beliefs i guess.
