I remember Rudy from her reality show with Tiny. Toya was so proud of him for going back to school to get his high school diploma. RIP to Rudy and Josh. Stay strong Toya
My heart goes out to Toya and all parties involved. I lost my mom and grandmother within months of each other. A year or so later, LAPD killed my best friend. Within a five year span, I had lost 9 loved ones.
No one, who has not been in said position, will ever know our pain... Toya. Stay strong. I MEAN THAT FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. I didn't have anyone around me to say that to me. No one came to my rescue. No one helped me stay strong. My family members were more concerned amount me planning and paying for the funerals. Its hella hard being the bread winner in your family.
Yes, GAWD! God is a gracious God. He saved me from myself. I was almost outta here. I no longer cared.

It's really an awful fate, sis. I'm hurting for them. One of the brothers had another baby on the way. I know exactly how that feels. I lost my daughter's father. He asked me to stand outside and he'll be right back. He asked me " Did I love him?" I was like "yeah you know I do and always will" not close to thinking he was sayin his goodbyes then. I heard the gunshots!!! Never thinking it was him. He had just asked me to put my hair in a ball on top of my head with a bang. So when I heard the knock on the door, so I start talking to him while walking to the door, opened it and it went bad after that. I thought it was a cruel joke. He wasn't gone ten minutes! I was trying to get to him, idk who grabbed me. idk! He was my first EVERYTHING! My baby was two. People look strangely when I say he called me. That call, that call! The phone was statically and I said Lee, Daddy they sayin you dead!! He then said "I'm okay. Kiss my baby for me" after that my house phone went dead. Only God understood my disbelief! It haunts me to this day! It's haunting me now! The situation got deeper but I'm gon leave it there.

by how bad they got in to it last year on social media, that they would still not be speaking.
wow i feel even worse for her, knowing that they hadn't spoken and they died mad at her....smh life is so short, things like money and materialism do not compare to flesh & blood! i hope they all put their difference a side and look at the big picture.

My grandmother has first stage of dementia and her and her brother money was being misused by my grandpa to help out his drug habits. The whole thing had got so out of control to where people wasn't listening. My uncle said to another member of the family that my mom and I are dead to him and that he doesn't have a sister or niece. We're all still not on speaking terms. Smh

My prayers and deepest condolences go out to Toya Wright and her family. It is so so difficult to try and carry all your family to the next level with you. But no one deserves to have their family members shot down in these streets. Once again , my heart bleeds for Toya Wright and her family.
I am also asking that people please be aware of your surroundings when you are sitting in your car after hours. There has been an major up take in individuals being shot in there cars all around the US. Most of them you do not hear about because they are minorities or not important enough to be mentioned on nightly broadcast. Please try to be safe in these mean streets.

What sucks about divorce is that you are literally grieving the loss of a relationship, and now on top of that you're grieving for your two brothers?!

I don't like it and it's not played in my house. Teach your children that they have choices in life. Keep them busy while growing up. And keep yourself busy by doing positive things with them. No shade, just wanted to let you know so you can retract or correct so there wouldn't be any further false info put out there. I also think it's so sad that either Casey or Walter were able to say there goodbyes (being they're both still incarcerated for an unrelated incident). I love this page, however a lot of these statements aren't correct. 1st off she was in Baton Rouge LA last night, so she was already in the State. 2nd the pictures that was shown was her other brother Casey, you completely edited josh out, the one who really got killed. 3rd, why insert drama?. Our nation and African American community is going through enough.. We don't need this. Yes I viewed this video, and I even watched it the whole way through. All this was public information, so just like I read it, we all could have. What if this was any of you guys family? Would we want people to pick through our problems?or flaws? New Orleans is actually a very small place! if you grew up here everyone really knows everyone. Toya is a sweet chick who really tried to help her family and give them opportunity that many here don't have. My heart goes out to her and the whole family. I know she's going to take this hard. I just pray the Lord gives her comfort and peace at this time.

Folks that work in the industry for real knows the sacrifice is usually sexual not killing of family members. Logically speaking, if you are a celebrity and from the hood and your family is still there. If they trying to make hustling moves and everyone knows they related to a celebrity they will get robbed, held for ransom or murder for sure. Seems like her brothers were doing too much and got caught up.

But one thing about this commentary, I would have left out Kray Miss Hell condolences---that little bit was so irrelevant to Toya's tragedy! Its not about "Kan Miss Me;" she doesn't need to be mentioned in this situation at all. I send my condolences out to Toya Wright and her family.
