    I am right there with you when it comes to scale trucks and that is why I think that all the Toyotas you have are true to scale with your jeep that you are working on. The true scale of a truck is what the body of the truck is in 1 to 1, so when a new truck comes out and they call it a 1/10 scale then it needs to be based off the body and not the same 12.3 inche wheel back that you just haven't to have. How hard is it to move the axel back a few millimetres.

      Exactly! They want the cookie cutter stuff male more money that way bro

      @@RcDungeon I will strive to keep my scale trucks true scalers. My 4 door Toyota with the regular bed is 14" wheelbase and my old orange Toyota has a bed that is 1 foot longer bed than the stock TF2 so I had to move the back end 1 inch back. So I have 3 Toyota Hilux trucks and they are all different just like if you saw the next to each other in a parking lot.

    This has got to be two of the best looking tires imo & I’ve had loads & sold loads because I’ve not liked them when purchased. Never really been a fan of proline tires, they don’t seem scale to me but Rc4wd for me………….. oh I like the rock stompers 1.55 but about 6mm to small for my liking but that’s what I’m using at the moment. Along with the two tires you have in this video 👌🏻👍🏻

      Yah just depends how you have a rig setup for scale stuff the muddslingers, are absolutely the biggest tire I'll use, even the 4.19 Rc4wd stuff is kinda big to me. I'm more a 3.95 maxed out style scale guy. Those muddslingers most guys hate absolutely killed it here on the trails as well as the others others had in this video. I'm warming up to the Pitbull Rock Beasts I have on my Marlin now but not me favorite tire by far. I've never had a single issue with any Rc4wd newer compound tires, I've read places where guys say they are junk but for me I've been lucky maybe. Far as proline I have the 1.55 swampe and they've been absolutely fantastic there on my white Xtra cab now but I swapped put to the 4.19 dirty Richard's 1.55 Pit bull foams as well. The stock proline foams are terrible in those tires lol! Oh mine are the G8 compound as well.

      Yes I like that big Jeep as well but its huge like 1/6 scale and they say its 1/10.

    I think the stock tyres on the tf 2 look way too small for the rig. Or it looks like it’s been given a stupid lift .they seem to work ok but they don’t look in scale with the truck unless it’s lowered ..

    • @RcDungeon
      @RcDungeon  5 месяцев назад

      Yes I completely agree with you. I prefer a 3.85-4.05 tire, but I usually manipulate my leafs to lower mine as well. I tried a leaf under and it just killed clearance on the pumpkin for me as I like to do some harder lines with mine. My SWB Jeep sit very low on 3.7 tires witch to me looks like a lifted TJ on say 33s-35s and it has minimal issues with axle clearance. I'm getting ready to do a leaf under on my Marty truck to put it closer to the actual truck from the movie which I think was 31 10:50 tires but that truck was lifted from what I researched. Sadly the scale of everything is off a bit, If you look at just rc4wd then blazer and toyota should not be the same size, Toss in TRX4 bronco and Sawback and now nothing looks right side by side, And when it comes to tires there are a lot of good scale ones, Terrain, weight and tread all come into play. Foams play a big part in a how a tire works too. I aim for a good all around tire for the terrain i trail on

    • @RcDungeon
      @RcDungeon  Год назад +1

      My Blazer is a hood bit wider than the Toyota, I'm happy with that comparison when your speaking Rc4wd rigs. The TRX4 are just huge like I said more 1/8 scale if your comparing an rc4wd being 1/10. I've owned them all, I just prefer the scale correctness of the Rc4wd stuff to me seems more appropriate. But like I stated in the video everyone's scale is different. Tires yes several scale tires, the 1.55 market is thin IMO, I don't consider the giant 4.7 1.9 wheels and tires appropriate scale for the rc4wd trucks but once again thats me. Pitbull, Rc4wd, Proline I think has one style of 1.55 tires I believe. I don't care for the 1.9 wheels with the smaller diameter tires, looks like lowprofile tires on a big wheel, but I like the old school stuff. Thanks for watching Randy

    Are the goodyear 1.55 or 1.9 tyres

    • @RcDungeon
      @RcDungeon  2 месяца назад

      I only use 1.55 wheels on my scale rigs. So anything you'd see on my channel on the rc4wd stuff would be a 1.55 tire. Hope this helps ya out
