- Perry Caravello believes he has been given a chance to star in a movie called Windy City Heat, a crime film about a "sports private eye" named Stone Fury. However, there is no such film, as the entire project is an elaborate prank played on him by Don Barris and Mole with the help of producers Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla and real celebrity cameos including Carson Daly, Dane Cook, Tammy Faye Bakker, and William "The Refrigerator" Perry.

Hearing his stories about how his dad would put on a cape and gather the whole neighborhood into his kitchen claiming he was going to dive off the refrigerator into an empty mayonnaise jar and then after everyone was there would just cancel the "dive" at the last second, makes so much sense as to how Bobcat turned out. And the world is a much funnier place because of it.
I know all these years I thought he was just regarded.

This is from 2003, Perry was allegedly heavily involved in the comedy scene, and yet somehow he didn't recognize Dane Cook.
Say what you will about Dane Cook's Comedy chops, say what you will about him being somewhat of a washed up has-been these days, in 2003 Dane was at his peak. *EVERYONE* either knew him and loved him or knew him and questioned how he got the fame he did. There is no excuse, PErry should have spotted him.

I remember thinking back when I saw this on TV: They gaslighted this guy for 11 years? And HE'S the insane one? How is this not a form of torture and harassment. He's clearly not all there. I mean the movie was funny. But I also felt bad watching it.
