You could literally say that about any grenade throw, if you Chuck it in a building someone could be on the floor and it could go off in their face. This is actually safer as there’s no risk of if hitting anyone in the head by throwing it
That is very true, people who don't wear helmets can have serious injuries if they receive a grenade container on the dome.
They can have serious injuries by headshots from snipers too. And apparently this is the speciality of this channel, nice fairplay.

@@seiju8784 you pay your money, you take your chances. If a player decides not to wear proper face protection and takes a sniper round to the head, thats on them, not KM. Its not on the roll of the sniper to miss his shots in order to validate the targets need to look Gucci instead of protected.

But technically, if a player is crawling along the floor and you THROW a grenade, the same thing will happen. So by this guys logic, grenades should be banned.

Very true either way it’s goes in their face which if we’re following actual war it should be allowed but thinking it’s the same if you throw it while they are crawling or if you booby trap it.

The thing is these sorts of players don't make any effort to preserve their "lives". They all stand around and don't attempt to evade fire when being shot at, they put in no effort at all apart from when it comes to whining, which they do to try and invalidate a kill. These types of players deserve all the ridicule they get and are a disgrace to the airsoft community.
@@FulcrumAirsoft Gamers win/lose psychology. If i win. Im genuinely skilled and better than you. If you win, there was some kind of malfunction with controller or you broke the rules to win etc. Typical. Minimize your losses and maximize wins. Gamers are all ego and usually have very weak resolve.

I had to crawl tho a door way one time there was a wall with a big hole in in and there was a door leading to a more open area on the other side of the hallwayware I came from but I got pined so I tossed a smoke in the room and crawled all the way to the door I didnt really need to I just wanted to be 100% that they didn't see me. What I'm trying to say tho it dose sound Stuipd but in the heat of battle you do Stuipd things, so it is rare it does still happen

What would happen:
Grenade wouldnt go off, because they would spot it.
What "could" happen:
you throw the grenade instead, aaaaaaaand it lands next to their exposed throat or face, and detonates there.. same "potential" dangerous situation.
Solution: Ban crawling as a way of clearing a building.
It's unsafe and no military unit in the world crawls through buildings as a tactic to clear them out of hostiles.
You were, of course, absolutely right to be upset. They didn't explain the rules properly! For all intents and purposes, you were in the right. These admins need to sort themselves out.

I always wanted to do exactly that after a talk with a really nice Feldwebel during a maneuver. He told me all kinds of fun ways to use handgrenades.

Also Silo, uses drones with guns on it, and then complains people shooting it down, if i get hit by a claymore,or boobytrap like this fair,and square ill take my hit, if some idiot uses a drone to shoot a gun i will mess up the drone and not take my hit

Really in my experience in the military you don’t crawl on the floor, and you always check corners and every door for traps. I agree total babies complaining on other team
It feels almost impossible to crawl with all the equipment u guys have on the chest, your back or legs.
Ofc in some extreme situations u would crawl, but it's an Airsoft game...
If your crawling through doorway you would see the grenade. But you have vehicles in this game? Talk about safety issues wtf? Could run over a guy in a gillie suit that was crawling
unclean ground, doors, corners would be the first things to ckeck for stuff which can harm you, totally right. and if its only shattered glas or barbed wire or whatever rests of broken structures. You simply dont rub your face into it.
Absolutely. You wouldn’t crawl when clearing a doorway or doing a room entry. The only risk is someone tripping up when moving through the door or if you’re doing a 2 person room entry you might trip on each other. Then in the doorway is a risk. Would those Grenades hurt your hands or burn you if you tried to disarm them and they went off? Just wondered how you would go about safely negating them if you come across them?

You are allowed to thrown grenades through the air, where you can hit crouching people in the face or standing people in the nuts, but you can’t let a grenade drop to the floor and explode? Bullshit.
Heck, an opfor team used ME as the boobytrap in a milsim, laying my dead body on a grenade.
@@TazorNissen a grenade in motion is easier to spot and evade last second than an unexpected, still grenade in a dark room. Just look how many debris and detonated grenades are lying around, you wouldn't expect a motionless one to be primed.

@@ocsmo5650 you must be new to the sport, to be dead after a hit all you simply need to do is raise your arms, yell out "hit" and casually walk to your spawn with weapon/arm raised. theres a big difference in standing in place as a dead player and being a piece of cover for your teammate, and being a dead player heading to spawn

That was one of the most creative CQB strategy I've seen so far and I watch a lot of airsoft content, your grenades wedged in between the door and the doorframes were no more danger to a "crawling" person than a nade thrown and blowing up near their face.

What I find amusing is they got hit by the traps. They didn't establish a learning curve because THEN, they went directly back and got hit by the traps?!?!?
I really like that the refs are clear on the idea that using a dead man as cover is a problem that should be talked about between teammates. If you 'cover' behind a dead man, it is your fault if he takes 50 BB's, not the enemy's
Exactly. The worst thing you can do to someone while they're 'dead' is to use them as hard cover.
Honestly, I'm not going to stand there for someone to cower behind me. I'm taking a knee, a seat, or flattening the hell out with a deadrag out or some other sign that "yeah, I'm dead, don't shoot me, please." If you're on my team and _still_ crawling up to my fat ass _just_ to use me as a sandbag, at that point I'll shoot you myself.

@@richardhanck972 we have done it in small milsims when I used to play. But it was just our squad that always was together and was cleared my refs for our squad. They said anyone could do it unless they were going to complain and the rules would be changed for it. But between plate carriers, helmets and face mask, and adidas padded football shorts we didn’t hurt from it. Their rule was if you can move a player to be medic to cover they can get shot when someone is trying to shoot you. And it was ruled no different that we could used them for cover. But our rules also stated dead mean had to sit down or lay down till a player assisted them.
@@dakotadickens3747 I'd think that kind of play would logically lead to "Ender's Game tactics" where you get a wall of 2-3 still mobile 'dead' guys and have a medic slowly 'push' them forward to 'assist' them. Just sit them in line abreast, give them each a shove on the butt and have them crab walk forward a foot, each in turn. When you're close enough, chuck a grenade into whatever cover the enemy was using. Not the medic's fault that the opposing team can't shoot through the biodegradable, protein-based, mobile sandbags, is it?
I prefer the rules I've encountered. Dead men remain where they were hit until moved by another player (medic or not). They _can_ move out of the way in an intense firefight, but are encouraged to get small to be out of the way. Likewise, live players are encouraged to _not_ actively use live players as cover, and to actually present a target.
I'm not worried about incidental shots where someone is shooting at another player trying to get to the downed player to move them. I'm worried about the downed player taking rounds for the _sole_ reason the approaching player is using the downed player as cover.
@@richardhanck972 yeah we usually only done on on a couple games types usually where we either escort a VIP and when he is the last one left or with on other the can use the tactic or on game modes the enemy is trying to push you back to respawn or fob we have done it to cover to revive to try and make a last ditch effort

I love the contrast of players in airsoft I’ve been in us Germany uk and all of them have such different players it’s so fun to look out for this stuff

its all about safety, if you have been on an airsoft range you will know the dangers of airsoft, the range on his weapon and the things he uses are illigal in the country i am from due to the fact that they can cause serious injury .., it might be a game, but it is a game with weapons that can cause lifechanging injuries, even under safer conditions ive seen people loose teeth or have one of the the bibis get stuck into their flesh ... these things are NOT toys !!!

Honestly, if those people go onto the field without headgear they are welcoming the risk themselves. If you can't be bothered to get proper safety gear, you can't justify any complaints about things being unsafe.

If I've learned one thing from this channel, its the UK airsofters complain about EVERYTHING.
Maybe it's the whole no guns for anyone thing. They don't grasp the SIM part of it.
I've run Airsoft-using LARP events in other places, and yea, sore losers and sucky players WILL blame opponents for being better than them for 'cheating'. Even when I've watched them get gunned down, fall on the ground, wait for the other player pass them, then get up and spray the other player, then complain the other one is 'cheating'. Literally watched them do it, told them I saw them, they kept bitching how the other player 'cheated' because they didn't 'respect' being killed by an opponent who they'd just shot themselves.
It's a type of player, the one I generally ban from any event I'm running. They only cause hassle to orgs with bitching and moaning unless they get to 'win' all the time.
And what's with the goombas just standing around when under fire, digging their noses, not even returning fire? I would've thought 'oh, they must still be in the off-game area' if I saw them faffing about like that. The quality of play... You have such amazing areas to play in, good gear etc. and the players seem to be pretty much pants-on-head.
Its the UK they complain about EVERYTHING.
its just like when people only wear sunglasses and cry when they get hit in the face. Its not hard to get goggles and a half mask, people even go to those lengths here in Australia and we can only use gel blasters that you barely feel through a t shirt

That admin shoudn't be an admin if they won't enforce their own rules, the players who were bitching should not be allowed back if they are going to complain that much.
Because you cant hurt feelings reason i gave up play a fields to many people get butt hurt and admins don't follow rules themselves or side with them till after the show i off and show them the rule. @@LestatRaven89 I remember a few times at my local where we encountered an enemy in an out of bounds area (not safe zone) and a teammate or two would start complaining and I would be shouting at them to shut up and shoot them, don't just stand there and whine, slot them!

who says admins don't have the last word to re-interpret their own rules, when they see it as important? If someone finds an exploit to a rule then I think its justified that they fix it mid-game if its unfair, dangerous, or whatever other reason
@@virtual_GaRy The rules are made by the head marshal and/or site owner, grunt marshals are there to enforce said rules, not enforce their own set of rules. The marshal who sent Mustang back was in the wrong as Mustang hadn't broken any rule. Even the head marshal had given Mustang the all clear for wedging grenades in doorways, if the enemies don't like it then that's too bad and they should adapt to the situation rather than trying to ban the situation. Marshals shouldn't be introducing their own rules, if they don't like the rules then they should discuss it with their superiors.

Seriously though, there are to many crybabies (and cheaters) in airsoft completely ruining the sport. And it's the serious and honest players who'll end up annoyed and stop playing.
What we saw here was a prime example of a smart and skilled players owning a bunch of smolbrains and then a stupid ref not understanding their own rules at their own field ruining his run because they kept moaning about their own failure to beat him.

Had a team compline about me when I parcored up the side of a building to ambush them from the back they whined about it and tried to get me banned from the game all because I parkcored up the back side and jumped from roof to roof it was the only way to flush them out do to it being a a 1way in and they had 4 people with riot shields holding the front

I don’t understand why people cant accept being hit by grenades in airsoft, if the made goes off in a enclosed space, by any means, you’re out for sure. I could see it being a bit more difficult outdoors but there should never be any confusion/complaining indoors. If you wanna be mad, be mad that you weren’t more careful while breaching a structure. Awesome video though! Love seeing the traps, maybe you can do that again somewhere with less bearded babies? 😂
what i don't understand in this scenario is, Why are the dead guys talking to the living guys about the trap ?? they need to keep their mouth shut and accept that they died.

I just need to work much more to not get be spotted in future :) On his videos most of players just walking around, without purpose, they schould be more carefull. If someone around me get hit, im not looking at him, but get to prone and looking for danger XD

Mr' Stang, I've had mixed feelings about some of the comments about your videos for some time now but after watching them I've come to the conclusion you are just a damn good player and a lot of people don't like getting taken out.

As for the Marshall he's simply trying to balance gameplay fun with potential insurance claims, yes a grenade could land next to your face and go off but leaving one primed in a doorway and it getting missed and left there to go off a week later on someone with no eye pro would be bad.
Very, very cool video though - keep that disconnecter on that mp9 well lubed though they are made of chocolate.

If anything, I would want booby traps on the airsoft field, it make things much more interesting compared to just shooting each other all the time. My local skirmish site allows Claymores and yet Milsim events are a little twitchy about it.

@@FulcrumAirsoft I don't play airsoft myself, and only just watching it on RUclips recently, but I've to agree that tripwires would make the game more fun (for me), if I were to play. It makes you become more cautious of your surroundings and thus makes you a better player in the long term. When I used to play CoD (online), in some of the modded servers, they would allow tripwires. We'd take it slow and look around each doorway. It just made the game more fun to me. :)

Saying "No one" implies that there is nobody there, and putting it in scripted format implies that this group of nobody is saying nothing? I can't believe the grammar of a primary school child made it so far in the world.
Never had issues like this in my field in Ireland, ended up on teams where we've only had a couple grenades between us, and admins have encouraged us to throw/roll stones into rooms to cause confusion. Moaning and complaining is definitely frowned upon.
The worst I've had is the "site veterans" complaining about me and my friends being of a lower skill level when we were new. Simply don't respond and play on. Adrenaline can be a hell of a mind-altering drug for some lads.

If they brief "no tripwires" then no tripwires it is. If you brief "no falling traps" grenades on top of doors is out (honestly, how would you keep it there? Easier and safer to use a floor wedge). If you brief 'no booby traps,' that includes every kind of airsoft mine, improvised or not.

God, I wish more airsoft places encouraged people to get creative with their equipment while still staying safe and following the rules like that. I'd honestly love having to actually check for traps like grenades wedged in doors when I'm clearing a building. Adds more excitement to the fight instead of just constant unfulfilling firefight skirmishes.

Even in "fake" scenarios like airsoft, where some rules are applied. The art of war still applies. It shows a lot about the opponents awareness, or lack thereof, and if these were real scenarios, these soldiers would have their heads blown apart by snipers and blow to pieces by booby trapped doorways. You, my friend, are a master.
