I miss my Chevy s10 blazer. She had a 6cylinder and had great suspension and high up on rear, automatic and she was quiet and smooth when driving and never left me and her parts when time needed were affordable and was 2 door. She was so cute my suv mid size lil’ Blaise🚘 and she had was smooth in those sharp corner turns and good on those bumpy roads that I didn’t even feel it due to great suspension. Omg I really miss her❤️🚘

Gorgeous, I have an 88 myself and its impossible to find a good review. That red interior is killer.

I still see 88,89 Blazers out on the road in good condition and care and some reconditioned and repainted in its original make. Those Blazers are still looking sharp. I MISS MINE ALOT. Now I got a Buick Encore Gx St 21 and it kind of has that Blazer comfort feeling. I imagined I sort ah’ have my Chevy back! 🚘❤️

The 4.3 was throttle body injected in this generation. The 2.8 got the multi port system. The second gens did away with the 2.8 (thank God) and the 4.3 got Vortec heads and port injection starting in 96. This 88 would be equipped with the 700r4. The 4L60s started in 91. They are almost identical to a 700r4 but they are governed electronically of course.

fix that squeak, it's so easy - wrap the rear window striker with gaffe tape, it'll be quiet as can be after that!

Reminds me of my very first 4X4, an 89’ S-10 Tahoe 2 door Blazer I purchased from my old boss. Man I loved that little truck! Learned how to wrench on vehicles with that thing! Edlebrock TBI and intake, MSD Ignition, headers, stroker kit, cam, super charger, upgraded fuel pump and lines, suspension and tires, sent out the 700R4 to get rebuilt, added a rear locker, upgraded CV axles, upgraded driveshafts, although I did set my dashboard on fire learning how to wire fog lights 😂 🧯 and then I wrapped it around a tree. 😢 🌲

interior sounds like a GM Rattley junk brought to you by General motors

you sound ridiculous. i do not like GM's offerings anymore, i bought a subaru crosstrek, however i will defend these older trucks. they were solid. this example has nearly 300K miles on it and it's still going down the road..... it rattles a little, and probably needs some suspension work, but that's over a 1/4 million miles.
GM made some great products in the past, they also made some junk all manufactures did. the 3800 V6 is as reliable as any toyota, i have owned several. including the very mod-friendly supercharged version..... i still own 2 vehicles with this engine. the small block chevy and anything that was based upon it was also solid.

You oil the spare tire carrier and use some WD 40 and the rattle goes away, and make sure to properly close the tailgate and window and oil the striker and WD 40, then see is quieter than some passage cars and much quieter than a Wrangler and Bronco the new one.
