I drove a version of this car from 1991 until 2013. It was a great vehicle for what we used it for. But I have no desire to drive or ride in one again. 😊
I always wondered how it'd sounded without the two rear resonators. The P71s don't have them. But all the other videos are on the civilian Vics/Lincolns/mercury's which have the stock rear resonators. They use four cats to help eliminate as much emissions as possible since these cars idled so much with people in them. Take a look at the modern Ford cars with single cats, there are multiple cases of police passing out due to emissions due to prolonged idling. The catalytic converters work best with they are hot. They do not get hot enough with just idling so they added more to help control emissions.
Big Crown Vic fan here. Never passed my mind that the secondary’s are a product of more idle time. They sure do make a difference on exhaust tone. Some civilian cars had a single exhaust that was literally just one half of the duals y-ed together. That flow must have been terrible. Factory panther mufflers are the same basic design of a turbo muffler, they don’t need to muffle a whole lot given the cats muffle themselves. The rear resonators are nothing but some perforated core galsspacks.
A full tank n no dash lights
Sounds really good.
Sounds great guys.
sounds fantastic

Nice work! 🤘🏻😎🔨 Nice tone.
Sounds good. I think it needs a set of converters cut off though 👀 hopefully we get to see him back
Only 18,300 "original' miles! 😉😉 Sounds clean!
Needs a Mustang off road mid pipe!

Sounds good. 😎👍
Sounds good, but imo, it needs to breath more to actually sound really great
If he removes the secondary cats I think it’d sound a bit more like it can breath
It too quiet
It has 4 cats
@@CobraR1993meow
It needs all 4 high flow cats by Flowmaster just so that it can breathe better
Need rear cats deleted or 4 high flow cats.
MENGA MINT!!!
Chokemasters
Baby seat in the back
Those 4.6's with 4 cats just need the mufflers removed. Any decent sound will need the rear cats deleted.
Cut the tail pipes off they kill the sound on these cars
