Hi madam , I'm trying to get a letter from the host institute. I've tried contacting my PI, but haven't received any response via email. Could you please advise on how to contact the PI?
1. If they had agreed to be your PI, then Keep following up. Its summer holidays now in US universities. So may be they are not in office. Keep following up gently and consistently. 2. If they haven't agreed to be the PI, then no response means, no interest. You start looking for someone else. All the best

Could you please tell us whether you emailed simultaneously multiple potential supervisors from the same university and department or emailed only one from the same place and others from other departments/universities. In my case, I had very strong reasoning on why I wanted to do it under this specific professor . So I wrote it to her only and she accepted.
