I'm sure you have it sorted by now but in case anyone comes looking to this video for answers to Align the left and right with each other just pop out the 19mm bolt holding the boomerang shaped doohicky and remove it and the black cover behind it and you will see 2 little markers that you line up, repeat on the other side and like magic it's all aligned.
Was anything broken or did it just come out of line for some reason? Mine was working fine yesterday but after heavy rainfall last night it was all wonky while trying to have the top down today.
@@xavierortiz2690 Yea, super easy. Two person job: stand facing each other on either side of clamshell and carefully apply opposing rotational force to twist it back. Test fit on car and you can make adjustments with it installed- one person holds their side down while the other person twists their side up. It makes sense once you get out there and give it a shot.

I think your transmissions might be out of alignment. There are other vids that go over how to get them right. Hope you fix your issue.
I have the same problem, after watching this,lm probably going to sell mine
I converted it to manual and have been enjoying it ever since. That is an option worth considering
