I just happen to stumble across your flosstube and I actually watched it to the end. I was enjoying watching what you had as wips and your choice of patterns, and considering the number of wips you have, I was really impressed with the progress you have made. 😁
I had an ancient, enormous, and hated ( at that point) piece not unlike your Tapestry Cat. And I also had most of it done. So what I did to finish it was - EVERY TIME I sat down to stitch I first put 10 minutes into it before I started what I really wanted to work on that day . I got it done and I’m glad I did ( and I don’t hate it anymore).
Just found your channel! Wonderful WIP Parade! I agree with X Jude fabric, it smells terrible. I found that hanging it outside in the sun for several days finally got rid of the smell. ❤
Just found your videos, and WOW! So glad I did! I love all your projects, and because I stitch mostly 28 or 32 Lugana (mainly due to my vision of 75 years), so you really enabled me with fabrics, floss, and patterns. I really like you Toledo to Toledo, and wish it was available in pdf form somewhere, as it’s so much easier for me to use Mark Up. I plan on going back and watching your previous episodes! Really enjoyed your WIP parade! ❤
Lovely WIP parade, thank you for showing us your treasures. How about stitching your cat pattern every “Cat-erday”? And the other 6 days your other wips. Kinda like others do a Sunday stitch.
Hi Kathleen! Great WIP parade! Strawberry Fields is going to be my first project in 2025. I really like how the silks look on yours. I'm looking forward to seeing how yours turns out without the urn. Haven't decided how I'm going to handle the urn on my piece yet. I'm thinking I'll keep it but stitch it in softer colors. Whatever I do I'll probably stitch it last. Happy New Year!
Pin cushion "with a cherry on top" would make a beautiful front to a project bag. And I love your start with "From Toledo to Toledo". I also have that chart and now I'm so inspired to start it! I was thinking about getting the Vicky Clayton silks for it,and I love the linen you chose, mind if I copy? Thanks for a wonderful parade!
