I feel like, the part when she fought all the widows at the same time. She could've beat all of them if her intentions were to "kill", because again she was holding back and yet she landed many evasive and offensive attacks. I actually thought that she would win because she did very well at the beginning, was beating them one by one continuously so i was very impressed (not to mention the strongest widow herself). We could see how different she is compare to the other widows, their normal training is usually a onevsone fight and she's literally fighting twenty widows here. Natasha Romanoff is an avenger and was fighting along side with ppl who has superpowers. She's been fighting harder opponents than the widows, im pretty sure she can wipe them all at once. Anyways, it was still an epic battle.
Are the fight scenes revolutionary? No and they don't have to be. I do think they manage to avoid many mistakes we see in modern fight sequences. I feel like the actors are taking it very seriously. They are very good at making the hits seem painful ( Red Guardian taking the hits ! ) But what I think the fight choreographers really accomplished is a sense that every move had a consequence. And thank you for pointing out the logistics of a group fight. I think its a beautiful movies
I disagree with the final fight scene and the choice to shorten that fight between Natasha and taskmaster. It was supposed to be the grand FINALE and climax of the movie with the best action and emotional weight but instead it turned out to be very underwhelming, way too short, overdone CGI that was unneeded, and anticlimactic.
@@TheMartialActor Personally I’ve loved Black widows choreography since the beginning of her introduction in Iron man 2 up till endgame and its because you can tell that all of her stunts were well executed by her talented stunt team but for whatever reason they went CGI heavy with the final battle in this solo movie and it just looked so out of place especially since the scene didn’t really need it. However I really enjoyed the black widow vs taskmaster fight at the beginning of the film as well as Natasha vs Yelena, and her fight against the brainwashed widows because those were well done in my opinion but that final battle scene was just.....👎🏽. But anyways I love your videos and enjoy your takes and analysis on this films fight choreography 🙌🏽. Keep it up
The fight scene between Natasha and her sister was my fave too it was epic and it just introduced their relationship so well😂
Riiiight??? Couldn’t agree more

That is a fair point, her holding herself back from killing any of the widows. No holds barred it would be a different story
I agree. Because She knew they were being mind controlled
Even though Taskmaster wasnt THE villain, I still wanted to see a GRAND FINALE fight between the two.
yeah I’ll agree with you - the fight wasn’t as epic in scale as I was expecting

This movie was great, I wonder why it never got much recognition???

That is a fair opinion - and tbh I’ve been underwhelmed by most of the CGI in marvel since endgame with the exception of FATWS
