@@landob3302 Check out the Flower Travellin' Band, they're a Japanese psych rock band from the early 70's, they're amazing! Especially their album Satori
I too, discovered Kikagaku Moyo through the almighty Earthless. What a show that was. This track reminds me of the Allman Brothers. In a really good way.
@@aditrock6715 i guess how some of the all mans songs are pretty jamy, a lot of improv kind of thing. It also reminds me of the dead in that aspect where they just jam for long periods of times

Spotify cuts better payment deals to big artists which is detrimental to smaller lesser known projects and, obviously, morally bankrupt. Stick to Apple music or YT music. They pay all artists the same rates. It’s not much better it’s just the lesser of evils. Rock on dude!
@@sashoradoulov3504 i guess i was exaggerating by saying “many” songs, cause there aren’t too many popular songs in 5/4, but this groove of having the emphasis on the & of one, three, then having the 4 and 5 be like their own measure of 2/4 is the best way to approach 5/4 in my opinion. I like writing music in 5/4 personally so i use this same groove a lot as well, here’s another example also: ruclips.net/video/cJyPtpldb78/видео.html. David bennett has a good video about songs in 5/4 as well.
Traveler : You’ve discovered a hidden gem
Where am i...
Damn right brother
This is one of the best psychedelic rock songs I've ever heard
oh wow. didn't know japan had such a nice psych rock scene
Naruto exposed me to some good Japanese psych rock

Very few people will actually hear this song, but the ones that do are lucky
Woah. The Japanese psychedelic music scene is fucking cool as hell
The first time I heard this I was instantly locked in. Love it
3:07 is breathtaking
Saw them in Sydney a couple times maybe 7 years ago or so now. Great!
Love this album and band and all lps😊
reminds me of "take five"!
Because it's a 1 - 4 groove with minor sevenths in 5/4.
Also blind faith - do what you like
Not just 5/4 time but has the same feel of 1andand345
@@kingdo22 That makes no sense lol. the first part is 4/4 then changes to 5/4 then to 6/8 and back to 5/4
it has the same melody
Man I want to hear more of that outro, sounded awesome.
I'm the same but with the intro, that first minute is incredible, the rest I can't like
Great things come in small packages...
I came here since they removed the whole album from Spotify. So pissed
Same

yeah i thought i was going insane when i couldn’t find it in my playlist?? man this sucks fr
@@mia-nb4cl fucking same why tf would they remove it
Yeah it’s so annoying, they did that with a few of their other albums a little while ago and they eventually came back. Best off buying the album!
Earthless introduced me to these guys. And I am most thankful for it.
My quest of knowledge(googling tons of random stuff for thousands of hours) brought me here
Its like they googled the rigs of all the very best classic rock artists
fantastic album
Desmond, Pink Floyd and a little bit of sabbath.
whipping post
Thank you! I knew it sounded just like it!
The panning guitar at 5:45 is absolutely gross and i love it
this song reminds me to this band from chile, 1974
your journey has lead you here. welcome home
Caught these guys live at Lee's Palace TDot opening for Earthless, killer show!
Travis Uhrynuk they came to Toronto? Awesome!
Just saw them at Lee's again tonight, four years later. What an excellent show

lol thanks for revealing a great band to me
No problem brother! :)
During the 5/4 part of this song, the beat is pretty much the same as the one in Take Five by Dave Brubeck.
cause it’s one of the best 5/4 grooves used in many songs
