Patrick is basically male Stevie. They're both sarcastic and poke fun at David but it's never in a malicious way. His patient and easygoing personality is the perfect compliment to David's neuroticism.
David being stoned in the store and calling Patrick over and over always makes me laugh. “Hey David, this is Patrick” I actually have products in a local store similar to David’s. I make sculptures, magnets, pins, jewelry etc out of clay and the store sells them and we both get a cut. But I absolutely love David’s description of ‘it’s a general store but it’s also a very specific store’ lmao. It’s such a contradiction but it also describes it really well!
Fun fact: Noah Reid, the actor that plays Patrick, voiced Franklin Turtle in the 90s/00s cartoon Franklin and he was also one of the main cast members in Strange Days at Blake Holsey High (another classic early 2000s show).

It is due to copyright. We have had more issues with this show than any other, and it has gotten worse recently. We don't know why.
