Weird Antique Traction elevator @ 670 Geary St - San Francisco, CA

This is a pretty odd one. This was originally something really cool, but it’s gotten a weird mod. It still had the original call stations and manual sliding door, but once you get past that you see a GAL COP and an automatic two speed door. The cab seems to be somewhat original, and it’s still single speed traction. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s still on the original motor. This thing was pretty gross for an apartment building too.
