I think Dillion and Ziggys relationship was key. That one was all enthusiasm and no skill, whill Dillion was a literal warmachine who at least in the begining didnt really care about the rangers. I always felt the only reason, or the biggest reason Dillion stuck with the rangers in the beginning WAS Ziggy. Also the fact that Dillion and Ziggy were best friends really seperates Dillion from the other jaded loner types.
I've actually met Johnny Yong Bosch last year and he's one of the nicest guys ever, heres hoping I get to meet more of the classic rangers... oh and more villains since I've also met the guy who played Ivan Ooze and Ransik

I met the dude who played Ransik. He was really cool and when I was talking to him, he said "RED RANGER" in that voice and it was the coolest fucking thing ever

Agreed, his quirkiness often helped balance the show out when it became serious and also helped the other rangers in their thinking when he would try to connect the dots. Not to mention it takes guts to stand up to everyone on his team and then chuck a car at a "civilian."
He should slide down further on the list with his buttery toast

One thing as well with JDF, in Dino Thunder even though he could have taken the reins away from Conner at any point to lead the DinoThunder team he did not. Instead he took a back seat, letting his red ranger grow as a leader. Often guiding him correctly down the path of what a Ranger should be and how a leader should act. When he was injured/frozen it was Conner who pulled the team together keeping them focused often reminding the group of "this is what Doctor O would have done" at times. I'd put him up with Doggie as one of the better if not best Ranger Mentors for the season.
I legitimately hollered when Cam was number 2, I didn't think he'd make it.

Funny little Fact with Adam. Johnny Yong Bosch really wanted them to kill Adam. In the episodes he returned after leaving he always asked the directors of Adam could die.

The Disney Brain Johnny also changed the entire meaning of his frog powers as well back in the movie. He said he wanted Adam to be disappointed he was a frog and they went with it. They cut a fight scene with him cause of that. Johnny also called himself the Background Ranger.

yes, thank you for calling Nick on his crap and supporting Xander. he should have been leader. love your points on my favorite Mystic Ranger, he was the saving grace of that team and season. the reason he kept his accent is cause the actor can't do a good American accent. he said it at a panel at the first Power Morphicon in 2007

i like all rangers on that team but vida is my favorite from it.
Tommy wouldn't have been nearly as high without having been probably the best Black Ranger ever. Not exactly a crowded field, but his transition from legend to older leader really boosts his stock more than his wavy haired Green days ever did.
And yeah, Xander is great. And I dare say he'd likely be maybe #2 on this list if Mystic Force had propelled him into that leader role as we both wanted. Would have made for a much more satisfying journey.
I hate him cause he has no emotion except emo, he's a weak leader, he had no real character, and he wasn't as brave as his teammates (namely Xander). he was like Anakin Skywalker in Episode II
I like how Xander tries to talk things out first before fighting. It show there is more than just fighting. Sometimes fighting is pointless n talking about can help alot. I like how that is one of his traits. Sometimes Xander can b a bit lazy n annoying but makes up for it when he is in battle. But Xander has leader qualities to help the team n his character continued to progress n made him have a very good story arc. I think they chose the right person to play that role.

I really enjoyed Riley and Chase from Dino Charge. I loved the fact that one specializes as a marksman the other a swordsman.
Mine would be Adam, Ziggy, Cam, Xander, and Trip. I'd like Tommy more if he wasn't around so long and they ran out of interesting stuff to do with him until Dino Thunder

1st and 2nd place are actually sixth rangers. 3rd and 4th place are RPM rangers. So if we don't count sixth rangers, only those normal then it means that RPM has the best rangers... HELL YEAH! Best season ever.

Dino thunder only has 5 rangers Red, Blue, Yellow, White & Black. So no if you count 5 rangers only from a team then tommey (Dino thunder) is still the best Ranger. On the contrary Tommy can't be 1st in this list cause there was no 6th ranger in Dino Thunder

elijah oye I thought Aiesha was a solid ranger. Adam really stepped into really owning his status as a ranger starting with the movie. Not all rangers need to be boisterous. Reason I like Adam is he was often the silent glue that held the Tommy led teams together (Season 2-Early Turbo)
@@slibertas1996 I agree, man. Once he replaced Zack as Black ranger he pushed the black ranger as second in command over Rocky's Red ranger. And he just grew further as Green Zeo and Turbo ranger. He has one of the most iconic line/scene from the Power Rangers movie. Not to mention his later appearances in Power Rangers in Space and the later crossover episodes.
You are absolutely tripping having Adam all the way down at 7. He may be one of the 5 best overall let alone of just black/green.

@@elijahoye8216 Adam was better then zack. Zack would rather waste his time in a fight dancing before even throwing a punch. Adam became second in command due to his martial arts skill and he shown that he was the much better fighting. I like Zack but Adam is better
@@Dwood777 He also had a couple of great episodes that developed his character in ways earlier seasons almost never did. One of his first episodes as a ranger was about trying to help a kid overcome issues he had overcome in the past.
His episode with Skull was memorable as well. A lot of what he does is inspire confidence in both his fellow rangers and anyone he thinks needs it.
Adam is my 3rd favorite ranger... come on now.

Zack didn't need to question Jason. Zack was the strategist who more often that not came up with winning strategies. Also, Jason was actually a good leader lol

It'd be really cool if you could do a top ten Power Rangers characters, including non-rangers, like Dr. K. Her focus episode was simply incredible.
My top 5 would be Adam, Ziggy, Bridge, Cam and Xander
Tommy would have easily been in my top 5 had they not milked his character for as long as they could. I liked him more in the earlier days of MMPR and also in Dino Thunder because he was used more sparingly, so whatever screen-time he was given was executed almost perfectly.

I'm biased since I grew up with Dino Thunder but he was better in Dino Thunder.
One of my favorite things about RPM is that the Red Ranger (or Tommy) wasn't the focus who led the story forward.
Cam is my favorite green ranger. He is extremely capable and always underestimated. It bugs me how he is underappreciated, even by the characters in show.
I thought Riley was cool because he's a fellow swordsman

I recently finished Rpm Ziggy because a favorite of mine in fact he replaced tommy as my favorite green ranger(Tommy is the best Green Ranger still) but because of how funny ziggy is and how he reminds me a bit of me on the chit chat side he felt really relateable
Cam is my personal favorite, not because of us having the same name, but becuase of his color (back on the day it was my favorite) his brains, his zord, his zord, and the time travel episode is what I remember the most about him

@@legend8665 5 and a half seasons. mmpr 1,2,3 + zeo + half turbo + dinothunder + 2 movies. i hate tommy after his role as green in season 1 however you basically cut his contribution in half. and he did do a decent job as dino black. he sucks as red and white though, horrible leader.

Ah Johnny Yong Bosch going from one of my favorite rangers to one of my favorite voice actors. Also pretty cool how he loves the franchise. Funny thing for him he purposefully during a recording for Bleach where he plays main character Ichigo where when the character was putting on a mask Johnny screamed *"IT'S MORPHIN TIME!!"*

I love Green Power Rangers because they are amazing and cool and I love when they Defined the world from Evil Villains and Monsters.
I think it was only natural to put Tommy at the top for Green/Black, as those were the colors where he was at his most interesting and compelling. Green was his beginning, and his natural integration into the team crossed with his center in most of the early major arcs (Green With Evil, Green Candle, Return of an Old Friend, etc) made him an enjoyable character, due to the ensuring depth he was given. As White, and Red, he sort of… puttered out. Which is fair, because there’s only so much you can do with one character. He had his moments, such as his initial return, but it did become somewhat flat, and the attention paid to him both waned and became tedious when done. However, when he returned as Black, there was new vitality to his role, having transferred to the mentor role of a team that honestly makes me think of the 2017 reboot kids more than the originals ever have. There, he has completely different hurdles, and his knowledge as a mentor makes sense, after his long history as a Ranger.
I think Adam should be higher on the list, personally. He’s one of the longest serving Rangers in the franchise, with a proper arc that comes to a natural conclusion. Also, he’s adorable, and he’s really there for newer teammates and his own successor.

As far as Zach goes, they did stereotype him at first, but they allowed his character to grow beyond the stereotype and become his own unique character.
I liked Adam best mostly cause when Carlos had a lack of confidence during in space Adam shown him why he needed to remain a ranger. Adam also became a great leader for the legacy team during Operation Overdrive's teamup of "Once a Ranger"

I still think it's weird that Tommy grew up to be a teacher and archeologist. But at least it makes more sense than him randomly going a the Peace Conference. Actually if they said that he went to one prior to becoming a teacher, then I'd buy it more

I think theyre not based on the logic that in their ranger team they were less focused on and less developed than rangers in other seasons. I mean look at some of them. Dillon is a huge example.

you already know I think this was awesome. all I have to say is that if somebody ever says to me that Tommy Oliver is not the best ranger like ever, they have to fight me. he is like the ultimate ranger and he's been every color except for pink, yellow, and blue. and that may not seem like a lot to other people, but it is to me.

it was really good and it was nice to see a bunch of the old rangers.from.previous seasons do cameos, though it would be been nice to see all of them.

Even though I think he's a great Ranger, I would say that Tommy as a whole is not a better leader than Carter, not a better character than Jen, and even though I described him as an all around great character, I still think that Summer embraces being an all around Ranger in a superior fashion. But a lot of that is also Rose McIver being a far superior actor compared to JDF. His longevity is his most defining trait and I simply don't value that as much as other Ranger fans do.
If you were to ask me who the greatest of all time was, I'd say Carter Greyson in a second and never have a single doubt about it. I would run through a brick wall for that man :)
The Disney Brain I think I'll spare ypu, just because you are like my favorite channel on youtube. but I do think it's great how many good and bad traits you can pick out about each ranger. now, my love of Tommy is more because of his history and mainly the fact that he's been a ranger for forever. that's something I like about him.

I started writing the Pink Ranger top 10 and I've got literally no idea what to say about Kendrix. She was my first TV crush, and I still love her, so getting that video done might take awhile, lol.
I wasn't sure how I felt about that. It was good, but as I was watching it, I just kept seeing ways that it could have been even better. I understand that the seasons are limited to 20 episodes now, but it definitely could have been better with more build up to the legendary rangers, so I would have liked another part. I do agree with you, though. It would be awesome to see a review on that, please. :-)

This is bringing back nostalgia and I like your countdowns as you go through a lot of the series and I'm surprised by your number one pics. I like how you don't just go with the trends. Also using colors instead of just female or male rangers is great. Finally your opening should have been used for super mega force... then again there was no saving that's series in my opinion.
LOL, yeah, Megaforce was a rough one. It would have taken many rewrites to fix what was wrong with it.

It’s been hinted that Black and Green Ranger powers are similar to one another, which is shown with Jake Holling, the Black Megaforce Ranger, is Green in Super Megaforce
After Cam Watanabe the genius who became the Green Samurai Ranger on Ninja Storm there was one other Kendall Morgan on Dino Charge that became a Purple Ranger.

@TheDisneyBrain I can respect your listing but I like many would rank Zack Taylor much higher. He embodied what was a one a few black superheroes of the time and he carried that mantel expertly and with style. The character of Zack was clearly the second in command and the backbone of the team. Able to think on the fly but not without fault Zack Taylor paved the way. Also with the material being a bit...lacking the cast, many of who had their first jobs acting on the show, did a fine job with the material and Walter Jones is a great example of that.
Adam is also the ONLY ranger to appear in every team of the Zordon era for at least one episode. He was black ranger in MMPR, Green in Zeo and Turbo, and he made an appearance as the black MMPR ranger in the In Space episode Always a Chance. Not even Tommy can claim that.

Tommy was the original green and an excellent black ranger. He is the most popular and the best ranger ever. He totally deserved the #1 position. BTW, what happened to Jake from megaforce? He, too, was a black and green ranger( though he can never be compared to Tommy)!
Johnny Yong Bosch is probably the most successful power rangers actor career-wise, considering he went on to Voice Ichigo Kurosaki in Bleach, Vash in Trigun, and voicing a lot of characters in Video Games. Also he's from my hometown of Kansas City, so I'm a bit partial to him that way as well.
What about the Rose Mclver the actor that played Summer in RPM? She has a decent career, even landing the starring role in iZombie, which for the record I have not watched.

I think with black rangers the best in my opinion are - Tommy , Chase , Adam was awesome in once a ranger always from operation overdrive , Javi loves music like I do ! Fave green rangers- Cam , mike , Riley , And Tommy

Cam from ninja storm could be mia from samurai father they both have same last names and they both connect to the same powers as a samarai
