Systema actually is not "Russian" but an ancient Cossack martial art. There were Ukrainian Cossacks (from Zaporizhye) and Cossacks of river Don (the latter ones were outcasts, mercenaries, sometimes border guards and sometimes anti-Russian rebels in XIV-XIX centuries, living in outskirts of the Russian Empire). Most Cossacks fought against Marxists-Bolsheviks during the Civil War 1918-1921. Also, many Cossacks (over 100,000) fought against the Soviet Red Army in WW2. Cossacks disliked Soviet mass murders and other atrocities and were not on board with Stalin' GULAG death camps. Cossacks always wanted freedom instead. Systema as a Cossack martial art practically disappeared during the Soviet times, because the USSR was exterminating Cossacks (after Stalin's genocide of Cossacks out of 2,5 million only three thousand Cossacks have survived). Also, in the USSR most martial arts were illegal for its citizens to practice. It is a miracle (and heavy work of Mr. Kadochnikov) that Systema was restored, and - grand thank you to Vladimir Vasilyev - that Systema is now available for all people practically world-wide. Its interesting that a lot of people see Systema as fake and want them to try it on other arts. I do not practice Systema, but I have been doing a lot of research on it. The way they train is really to avoid getting hit. The students move like they do, because they are learning to read what the opponent is doing. They or you don't want to be hit with a Systema punch, it causes a different type and level of pain, one that you try to avoid taking. Avoiding that pain is why the Systema student react the way they do so that they can avoid the consequences of being struck. I will put money on any non Systema person taking a Systema punch and see if they are willing to take a second one. After the first one they will have awkward body motions and not the smooth body contortions you see from a Systema student.

Circus left, but clowns stayed)
Шарлотка!
The problem for that type o martial arts is that it’s impossible to apply in a non combative situation it’s a kill before get killed type of martial art if we applie it in it’s true situation the other person can get seriously hurt or killed 🤷🏻♀️
you watch too many action movies)) all “deadly styles”, they are deadly only in words.
@@AlexanderEremin-b8j Is purposefully targeting joints (cervicals for example) and vital organs not "deadly", you think ?...
Because that's ultimately what that type of work is designed to do, no matter how playful or goofy the training may look ...
Then again it obviously requires hard work and dedication to learn and be able to apply effectively, no argument there.
@@romainl2268 I didn't understand the first part?))))) What does this have to do with fatal cervical vertebrae?)))
I've been boxing for many years. No matter how you pump your neck. I'll successfully hit the head and the fatality of the cervical vertebrae won't help)))
Sorry. I don't understand English well) maybe I translated it wrong.
When you put gloves on your hands and start sparring in full contact, there are different rules and time goes by in fractions of a second. The most important thing is to feel the timing of the blow and the distance. And this comes with experience. After numerous sparring sessions with different opponents.
The system is good of course, why not) You do sports. You probably do what you like. But as a fighting style - it's garbage.
Атакующие какие то имбицилы. Против шустрых мотивированных и агрессивных система работает?
a lot of FALOPA
Bruh those knives glimmer a little too much to be plastic. Crazy Russians using real knives to train 🤣
This is like the absolute worst parts of Tai Chi and Aikido had a baby, and I'm saying that as a fan of both.
And THAT is the kind of comment an uninformed individual would make. I've trained some Tai Chi and Aikido, and am currently training Systema under a student OF Vlad's right now. The only commonality is in terms of smooth execution and improvisation, the rest is biomechanics, and ways to break structure and limbs. This stuff must be demonstrated safely, because in a true fight Vlad would simply be breaking limbs (or necks.)
Eel style
dangerous comedy showing this acted "knife defense" mooves. some idiot may think this could work in real fight and getting stabbed realy bad
Lol…ok dumb dumb.
even a bjj blue belt whould beat this guy.
Jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj......sí,como el kickboxer.....para luego terminar cagado en el suelo..deja de decir tonterias
they are dancing lmao
Это всё обман!В России это уже поняли,он не мастер.!😅
Он тоже понял, что в России это поняли.😄 Поэтому он и не в России.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
common sense would be not to engage a fight with someone who has a knife
this is just comedy
No. It is training.
this combat technique is used by russian special forces. This is not for designed for self defence
@@blackwatch2516 no but the concepts are, i have all this guys vids which alot you don't see here, lots for defense with every day items such as a jacket or a door, jason bourne character in movies uses this system
Ah yes, don't fight people if you don't have to. Truly enlightening commentary...
@@blackwatch2516 lol what a dumb thing
Almost none of this would work. They should show them sparring against some Thai kickboxer and see how they do, or a BJJ purple belt. Both would dismantle them.
Peró si el que le lanzó una patada a la cabeza es un Kick boxer y terminó cagado
Better off learning Escrima
'Yeah to that; best defense against multiple attacks; & masters of knife application!
zero efficiency.
Ето,какаято ДРОЧ.
At least this 1 isn't fat
Great acting
COMRADES, COMPANY WILL YOU CONVERT TO ISLAM RELAGION, AWESOME TRAINING.
Guys attacking in slow me and he is responding way faster hahah how can you guys believe this bullshit?

Yeah, you may stop embarrassing yourselves.
Take your own advice plz.
Боксер даже среднего уровня уложит этого маэстро двойкой за полсекунды. Это не системаэто полная муйня

"Disarming" and then giving the knife back...🙄🙄🙄 So many red flags.
Caucasians imitating woo woo Asian martial arts masters
A very efective and eficient imitation...
Lmao a perfect example of a "fake master".
"Buh wuh abuh the head kick part?!?!?!"
If there'd be more clips of that, you'd see that it was a luck last millisecond dodge. Shit's not viable IRL, otherwise why would anyone get hit ever if they could just "relax" themselves lmao
Exactly. Also, defenders of Systema constantly talk about how it's so realistic and practical and made specifically for combat and fighting in the streets. But how often do you actually see a high roundhouse kick in a street fight?
🕳️
😂😂😂😂😂
Unable to express yourself with words?
Hahahah easy beating.
Ya sure Muhammad….
TKD and Aikido could easily combat this... Hell, even a T-shirt wrapped around both hands could stop this...
Keep dreaming ….
BS
wtf is this?
Looks like a feint and a jab would crumble this system.
Go to his class and try it but please film it….
