Thank you very much Jane. I am learning this piece right now. I am enjoying this tutorial so much that I listen to it every day when I am playing piano
Are you guys listening out there? Today Jane has asked us all for a $1 contribution to help a young penniless young man to buy a digital piano to help him developing his extraordinary skills so he does not have to rents to work on classical works he treasures. We all know what we all ow to Jane’s daily dedication for making tutorials for tastes and all levels of piano music. The figures can’t lie : 112 656 subscribers 74 093 753 views… That tells a lot. Doesn’t it? Dozens of us have requested tutorials from Jane and where very pleased when she duly delivered them. Many have expressed their thanks. Meaning many of us owe much much more than $1 worth of gratitude to Jane. Any objection? So please guys, now is the time to show your gratitude to Jane. The money is not going to fill Jane’s wallet. Instead, it will help a very deserving young man to perfect his skills the same way many of you are lucky enough to do with the piano you owe. No act generosity there. This is will only show your gratitude to Jane. GoFundMe page: "HELP SEAN GET A PRACTICE PIANO" www.gofundme.com/cffmp-help-s... Many thanks in advance.
Thanks Jane, surprisingly I had not come across this very nice piece before, although I am familiar with Bach's works for Anna Magdalena. Looks good for sight reading and tempo practice.
Thanks Li. want to spread the word that I am on strike, until tutorial user Sean Rooney raises enough $ on GoFundMe to get a practice piano. Watch my recent upload about it? Thanks if you decide to help him.
Jane, I just watched the gofundme video - Ofc happy to help. I'll create an account later tonight. Sean has a natural sensibility. Are you his teacher from the start? I don't have any videos (zero subs) since i am just now looking into equipment to record some songs - is there another way to spread the word on youtube? Also, depending on which country Sean is in, i may be able to do better than a donation and help him find a quality acoustic if his space allows for this. I have just gotten my own practice upright a few weeks ago and installed a practice volume shield using sheets of cloth over a shower rod hehe :D. Shipping anything with wood, esp. pianos over i believe 70 years old can be an issue for some countries but here in Victoria BC Canada there are lots of decent and even great pianos between 0 and 800 dollars if enough time and patience are committed. Is Sean in North America? The situation is similar in the USA afaik and wouldn't an acoustic be so much more suitable than a digital? I tried to find a digital in the used market but people were asking handsome prices for aged technology.. 400$ ballpark to get something modern. I figured i might as well get what i really needed. The best would of course be a local source since shipping a crate can be pretty costly too and eat up an entire budget. With help from friends and many hours on classifieds, my practice piano set me back $20 shipped. plus another $20 for the shower rod ;). A day of wiping down and vacuuming and i'm still excited to get on it. It does need to be tuned but i am happy to have something with real actions to bang on while ignoring the tuning rather than a gorgeous sounding digital, the keys which probably wouldn't last me more than a few sessions of hard practice. I'll be able to look at your website in a few hours time. More soon.
You're channel is a gem and very helpful to me, having just taken up the piano after years of neglect. I'd love to see a tutorial on Lili Boulanger's Db minor prelude [I find it quite difficult to get my fingers round the second section]. Thanks so much! From England.
Nice to hear from you, Chobably. Your Boulanger request will get lost here. Please see request instructions on my website. Also want to spread the word that I am on strike, until tutorial user Sean Rooney raises enough $ on GoFundMe to get a practice piano. Watch my recent upload about it? Your slow version does the full trill and your fast version just does a small mordent.
I always mess up ornaments. Don’t trust me ☺️
Than you very much for this tutorial piano!! I have a different version ( finger are more and more complex ) . I really hate my version!!!
You're welcome. Some editor's fingering drives me nuts too. I rather make up my own :)
