Hi. I can’t get a clear definitive answer anywhere regarding the transducers mounted to the bottom of the dry pod. Does it require spacing to have full use of sidescan? Thanks!
Hi, thanks for watching. Some say you don’t need a spacer. I have my transducer mounted to two 1/2 spacers that are epoxied together for a total of 1”and works great and does not scrape the bottom in shallow water.
I appreciate how you use quality equipment in a practical way. Super functional and not cluttered. Are you able to use the foot pedal while standing? What’s the top end speed?
Sorry for the late response. 10” in the front and 9” in the back. Measurements are from center to center of pipe. I hope this helps and thanks for the question.
Thanks Bobby Bass. Yes worth every penny. Even though I trailer it most of the time I can easily move it around and even leave the trailer at home and just haul it in my truck bed and launch it with the side kick wheels. A must have for me.
Thanks, no I do not have the motor on when I’m transporting. I’m scared it will cause a lot of stress on the bow plate. Only takes about 5-10 seconds to add it at the ramp. Thanks for the question.
I purchased FPV batteries from Mariner Sails website. I have 2 50ah batteries mounted on a cheap cutting board and a rope handle I made. They are expensive but at only 7 pounds each they are worth the weight savings for my setup. Link is below: www.mariner-sails.com/fpv-power-50ah-v3-waterproof-ip67-rated-lithium-ba.html
Wow now thats a rig! Looks awesome!
Thanks, I’m really liking it

Hello. Can you tell me what your PVC spacing is for the trailer to properly have the kayak sit on the trailer.

Hey, where did you get the bow stop and winch combo because I need something like that for my kayak trailer.
I got the parts off etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
Nice set up!! Is the side kick worth it ?? Just purchased the pwr129 , thinking about getting the side kick . Thank you

Since your kayak is supported at the front. Do you transport with trolling motor installed? Thx
