I have ASICS Gel 1130 I live in a downtown big city walked miles in them, I guarantee the Vomeros are more comfortable. Funny thing is, my location is perfect. I'm going to walk 4 minutes down the street to the Detroit Nike Community Store, and try on Vomeros

Everyone else who is cool with trying trends can totally enjoy and try new things. I like new things to. For me it’s all about 3 sneakers right now. ASICS GEL NYC 2055’s, New Balance 9060’s, and New Balance 1906R. Nike doesn’t deserve to be on my priority list. They’ve let me down far too many times. And Nike isn’t worth their insane prices.
Asics Gel Kayano 14 vs Vomeros would be a better battle as they are both around the same price point. 1130s are the best bang for your buck comfort shoes IMO. Love this comfort battle that you are doing man. Keep it Up!
I agree with you about the Kayano 14 being a better fit vs the vomero, but Huaraches can be had for less than all of these and are more comfortable. I think those are the best bang for the $ sneaker.

Just recently got into Vomeros... now I have 3 pair love the vintage look and they are super comfy...DONT pay full price though they go on sale all the time!!
I have both pairs, and Vomeros are the first weird shoes that I’ve had. They feel like they’re small and large at the same time. Despite my feet being size 9US, I had to change them twice down to 8US and then stretch them at a shoe repair shop. It’s still not that comfortable but at least my feet don’t hurt from long walks.

Both ASICS 1130 and Nike Vomero are in my daily rotation, but I think a better comparison would be the ASICS 1130 and Saucony Ride Millennium because they’re only $5 different.

i have the exact same vomero color. i would say it's the comfiest dad shoes i've ever own. i have nb 2002r, 1906r, asics gt-2160 and those sneakers are not as comfy as the vomero 5
@ thanks for responding so quickly. I have have flat feet and overpronate so it’s a pain trying to get shoes that help that. New balance 530s have a similar silhouette to the 1130s but the 530s lack that support i need. Hopefully the 1130s are the ones for me

@@wade_county Having said that, in terms of pure plushness and squish, UB does not come close to max cushion runners like Nike Invincible Run or NB Fresh Foam X More V5. But for all day comfort + everyday style, Ultraboost 1.0 and 4.0 still reign supreme.

It is not a ranking about cost-benefit, just the most comfortable, this is independent of which has more technology, which is the most expensive, etc. the cheapest may be more comfortable than the most expensive, objectively. Not using prices for evaluation, it helps you understand how that price difference will really change your sneakers and comfort.
