Even if on a budget the ABBA superbike stand is much better than paddock stands, can get a front lift kit or use a bike jack under the engine as I did to lower the engine to get the cylinder head off last year, or to hold the front up for getting the front wheel/forks off.
Been wanted one for ages, but whoever does the importing to Australia takes the fucking piss & doubles the prices lol. Already got my plan for the next time I’m in the UK - buy stand, ship back myself by sea with a bunch of other stuff I can’t get in Aus, should still save a heap even if I have to pay UK and Aus tax.
@@Bobby-wn5yr exchange rates or whatever kill you guys, its good for us though. I bought a caliper from Australia (six pot Tockico from a 2006 bandit 1200, for my Y2k ZX9r), great condition as expected, and even with high delivery costs it still cost about the same as buying one here with free postage, wasnt any good ones available here at the time.
Lovely ! I had a 2016 R1M and put a Brembo RCS Corsa-Corta mc with Brembo HPK discs and EBC GP-FAX pads that setup made a massive difference ! Money well spent 😀👍
You should really thread lock disc bolts as they do from factory, new bolts come with red thread lock already applied usually too, I am happy using blue medium strength thread lock, caliper mounting bolts are not usually thread locked though. I like to more so after buying my bike a few years back that was recommissioned so had freshly painted wheels with new bearings, brake discs and pads etc, after a fair bit of riding while doing some general maintenance I found that my rear discs bolts were all lose, probably due to the heat cycles and no thread lock on them.
If you have not tried before, throw a set of Carbon Lorraine break pads.. no harsh initial bite.. had the same master cylinder on my R1 and work amazing
The best thing to use removing stickers etc like that without damaging the surface is old credit cards. I have a couple of old cards in my toolbox for removing tough stuff like that stuck to things
I wish that you lads would fit either a thumb brake or a scooter style rear brake and the play station style switch gear and report back on function for track/fast road riding.
You need a rcs17 if you want more lever travel. Not a 19. A bigger diameter MC needs less travel to move the same amount of brake fluid. In fact the original MC is a 17 as well I believe
Your 2021 Superbike shootout on the Isle of was absolutely epic and will stand out in my mind forever! Who cares if you can't wrench, you both haul "arse"😂
Hinge n bracket...chuckle brothers...the odd couple....laurel n hardy may have give us laughs in the past ...but if you want brembo brothers comedy here it is lads...😂😂😂😂👏👏👏
Be interesting to see the difference in cost to what you spend versus various packges of support/upgrades offered by Yamaha themselves, and outside team support option. A results per pound rating, and a grins per quid rating, maybe.?😊
Guys, your toolbox is almost surgically clean. It needs to be bedded in. Y’all give us more toolbox videos or I’ll come up and bring you some sorry as bikes to service to dirty the tools up. The BBB Italia 999s is on good hands here in Devon ❤
inside for mx so nothing snags the line, road race bike outside and two single lines so if high speed damage occurs from mudguard exploding you still have brakes.
Whitebalance seems to be off, is it set to auto by any chance? Or are you filming in raw and struggle with propper colors after converting? Red and blue pop, whilst the skin is pale af (even for you two brits ;) )
Probably one of the most childish video’s I’ve seen on RUclips… and I’m absolutely here for it 😂 You’re too commercial Chris… I’ve just farted in your face mate. Brilliant 😂
Thank the good lord almighty, I was actually running out of stuff to watch in RUclips and 44teeth drops this!!! My favorite channel to date!
Now in cinema,Jason Statham as the mechanic 😂👏
Co-Starring Sue Perkins
@@Ze-Germanzuk Sponsored by Costa Coffee 😂
🤣🤣🤣
The only thing stopping him is 5mm spacers
"I'm not corporate, I just farted in your face" - This needs to be on a t-shirt 😂
🤣🤣
“That’s gonna be satisfying” instantly launches it across the room 😂😂😂 love these two
Bar the race ECU/abs delete this is going to be THE best upgrade you can do for the bike. Mega excited to see you guys test this on track!
ABBA stands are amazing. Hands down best purchase I’ve made for garage mechanic foolery

Watching Al pump that thing up made my day. Prime entertainment right here.

This video is awesome. I love the unscriptedness and humor. Keep doing what you're doing boys! Much love from the USA

You guys have the fanciest lift but are setting tools and parts of the floor? 🤔 May I suggest a roll around tool cart with a work top 😆
I wish that you lads would fit either a thumb brake or a scooter style rear brake and the play station style switch gear and report back on function for track/fast road riding.
I don't have a bike or license but god damn I love these videos, looking forward to seeing the R1 more!
Fantastic 😂 love the regular uploads !
This is better than The Office, should be called The Garage 😂 Starring Jason and Sue
Thanks to both of you. Looking killer. The bikes coming together nicely.
Pawlak
Who's ever seen a workshop that clean....amazing (and entertaining). More of the same (middle aged men faffing with bikes) please.
I had a shop mess up my brakes when they didn’t evenly torque the bolts that held the discs on.

Rcs 17 👍👌
Two in one week, you boys are on fire….keep em coming
Don't forget to do the race fairings and race seat (decrease the weight)!
Holy snap My prayers have been answered Thank You finally another R1 Video Yessssss‼️‼️
I fitted the same mastercylinder and it is so precise and very nice to use
Watching you guys work on bikes gives me PTSD. but i love it
Yesss!! Finally more R1 content. Get in lads
Don't whatever you do forget to tighten up the spatula bobbins
Lines are on the inside for a dirt bike just to protect them. You tend to drop the bike more . Just a precaution measure
The jonny going all the way down realisation killed me 😂😂😂
Lovely workshop guys….but all the tools and no idea 😂
I love this community.
How many maccy d's do you guys huff through in a year?
Limit to 44
Can’t wait for some warmth in my garage!
The mallet with sand is called a deadblow mallet

It's like watching an episode of the chuckle brothers! 🤣
I think I love Daddys tool cabinet as much as the bike 😂 Yours, early-onset OCD
When zippy and bungle get the tools out. 😂.
I'm only half way through but did Chris really not shake those beautiful full floaters so we could hear that incredible jingle jangle musical sound?
Love the banter. Glad there's no Smellevision™
Liquids don’t compress Chris 😊
Yeah I was coming here to say this.
Be interesting to see the difference in cost to what you spend versus various packges of support/upgrades offered by Yamaha themselves, and outside team support option. A results per pound rating, and a grins per quid rating, maybe.?😊
I’ve always called my master cylinder the Costa Concordia
It's great to see bodge it and leg it motorcycle mechanics is still trading
If its any consolation i also think "Watching your videos is like taking a walk through the gallery of your magnificent talent".
Those Brembo calipers 😘👌!
You two are like an old married couple 😂❤
Mint little build too lads 👌
Incredible color grade gents!
Das ist eine Bargain Hundt Horse! from the one of the Budget Bike Battles if I remember correctly
I LOVE THIS PART❤
Love hearing Fagan's Bristolian tinges
Makes me actually like the R1 again… looks tasty! ❤

Quote of the century "I'm not corporate.... I just farted in your face!!" Didn't need to see any more than this, but watched the rest anyway!
More of these!!!😊
Please tell me James is going to check all your work guys because this looks terrifying 😂
More videos like this for my amusement please!! 🤣
Chemistry between these two is original Top Gear like!!
Executed like two consultant surgeons! Lamb Chops got Hel calibers. Thought they looked better than Brembo. Just saying like. 😂👍
Just Fabulous. DAVE Moss standards. What a riot.

I’m reminded of watching the keystone cops as a kid…. 😂😂😂
Brembo is Italian for design with engineering brilliance.
How close to the spec of Rossis R1 he uses for his track day fun ,he is still super fast
What are you going to use the bike for when it's fully built?
quality fella’s 🔥💯💪🏻
17mm master if you’re after more lever travel and modulation?
oh its hard to watch you guys work on bikes. Love ya!
You can basicly copy the alinment from the old setup.
What lever guards are on the bike?\
The front is looking a lot like the bmw S1000rr
Re: Brembo putting a stop to giving you money…

whats the front and rear axle torque number?
Is the colour washed out, or is it my phone?
They’re just filthy 😂
@FortyFourTeeth not being fussy. I gen think my phone is spazing out.
Them brembos tho. Was like opening the suitcase from pulp fiction. 🔥🔥
@@chriswest2290 nah, the whitebalance is off. I would guess it is set to auto... Was also a problem in another R1 video.

I'm confused; are we watching a collage (arts and craft), or a college tuition course on equipment upgrades?
Does it go all thevway down for you?...and Chris face 😂
Big up the Verwood massive
Wishing you’d gone to Crescent… 😂
farting in your mates face, that sent me... can´t stop 🤣Che Spettacolo!
Those callipers 😍
Another one for the 44 teeth slang : "We are nearing the approach hole!"...
Omg that was so painful
Never thought I’d say it but thank f**k for BMW and the RR
I saw a Datsun sign in the background. You're clearly sponsored by Datsun 🙄😂
Great tutorial gents, I am definitely swapping or adding a Triumph Rocket lll for my sdr, but dear god I would love another modern R1, its awesome
How much does a set of calipers run ya?
The best channel on youtube, love watching these two fools dicking about
