- WHAT AN AWESOME COWBOY MOUNTAIN CAMP IN BUKIDNON!
Yes, the Philippines is much more than beaches and coconuts! Here in Libona Bukidnon... it is all about ranches and cowboys! On this day, I head just outside of Cagayan de Oro for a mountain trek. It is just a climb up a ridge... but wow what a view, and what an awesome experience it was! I even met a Philippines Rodeo Champion Cowboy!
This is Mt. Kilagas, Libona, Bukidnon, Mindanao...
AND IT IS STUNNING!!

I have never appreciated northern mindanao until I saw Kyle’s vlogs. Before, the idea of travelling to Mindanao has never ever crossed my mind. After watching his vlogs and once this crazy pandemic ends, I am definitely going to visit these provinces namely CDO, Bukidnon, and Davao.

How i wish i could live in a place like that. The air is fresh, the surroundings are clean and green, so simple but peaceful. Not crowded, no wonder people in the province have longer life than those in the city. How blessed are the people there!

I'm from Thailand living here in Bukidnon the lowest temperature here is 14 to 16°C in morning and midnight every December to March,
Highest will be 25°C. I love this province with such a cool air and not polluted place❤️

When I was single and the pressures of the world seemed to be coming from all sides, I'd hike up a nearby mountain. When I reach the summit, I look over the distant city of Pasig and think of my place in all the things going around. My concerns become so small compared to the life all around me, Once I gain that perspective, the tension inside me calms down and I gather the courage to keep on going, the light of hope from within me seems to glow just a bit more.
I can't climb mountains these days, but I'm thankful that you can take us to places that can bring us some calm from the chaos around us.

I knew where you're coming from Kulas, I also experienced living in CDO for 1 1/2 year and it was awesome (half an hour you'll be in the mountain or white beaches from the city).

I was born in the Philippines and growing up in Metro Manila, we always thought that Mindanao was not a place to visit because of the bad reputation that was instills in our mind. But, after watching Kulas not only blogging Mindanao but also living there was an awakening for my thought...what a beautiful and peaceful place Mindanao is.Im 61 years old and maybe one of this days after all of this disaster were having ill travel that gorgeous part of yhe Philippines.

I miss the mountains so much. I am an avid hiker and have climbed a lot of mountains since I first atarted in 2015. Unfortunately because of the pandemic I havent climbed in a year. I live in Manila, too, which makes it even harder to just climb anytime anywhere at such a time. Hopefully soon, I will climb again when it's safer. Meanwhile, I'm hiking vicariously through you. Thank you Kulas! ❤

one of the best place to live in is in cdo city. Just a few kilometers of ride you're already in Bukidon, home of the adventure.

What you said is true! Sometimes media is bias! They report things that's are untrue like Mindanao is dangerous! Omg, Mindanao is a big place there's is a place that is not safe but people should be open-minded and analyze things what you heard and what you watched is not always true! There's a lot of places in Mindanao that are safe to live and visits! God has created Mindanao that has almost everything you need and you can find! Beautiful Mindanao!

Yes,exactly.Mindanao is used to be under rated by the people in Luzon. They thought Mindanao is chaotic and dangerous.When I was working in a hospital in Singapore,some patients were asking about how safe for them to visit Philippines. My co-worker from Luzon said..."It's safe, you just have to avoid Mindanao."😯 OH, boy!!! What a great mistake. Mindanao has a lot to offer.
Just dont go to western parts of mindanao and you should be good
