I had to go back and find your ‘shed of doom’ episode because I have a shed of doom too.☺️ It’s spring here in Australia and I’m about to enter the shed, hoping to find some of my old treasures I’ve forgotten about in the back of the shed. Thanks for all your inspiring videos
I have a friend who would look at your shed and say,"We're short of nothing we've got plenty of"😂😂😂.You are right I love it.Better than abandon hope all you who enter here.
@@elegantlyknackeredstyle Yes but look at the magical things you have found🤗🤗and the magical things Mark does.I can understand though. And something is only full when a wet finger won't fit it😂😂😂
Oh this was wonderful to watch....what treasures you have! Would absolutely love to see more of what's inside the shed of doom. We have a similar saying...it's called the shed of shame, and it's packed to the rafters.
Yes please, more vintage treasures. Oh how I wish we had better vintage markets here.. on the other hand I would definately end up with an overflowing room of doom. So I'll just virtually enjoy seeing your super finds 😉
Have a word with RBS Engineering (just outside Great Ryburgh). We’ve had various things done there for work and the village hall. They might sort out the swan neck lamp wall bracket. Would be a shame not to use it.
Thank you. I might have to do that. The vintage hunter instinct in me wanted to find an original one but I am getting to the point where I know I will have to get one made. Thank you for your recommendation.
Maybe try your local blacksmith for the bracket alteration? I've got lovely commissioned rose stands from mine - much better quality than anything you can buy in a garden centre.
Yes, I can definitely get one made. I was just hoping to stumble across one whilst out vintage hunting. Like all of this slow renovation, there's no rush 😊

I hope you do too 😊
Loved it all, including all those glorious pots behind you. And well done Rowan!
Well spotted. I collect those pots as they make wonderful vases. Rowan and I had so much fun filming this. We have laughed our way through it 🤣
Lovely video with amazing finds!
More Shed of Doom finds please !
I will send Mark back in 😊
😂😂😂😂my shed of doom.Thats THE best shed of doom I've ever seen.Brilliant Future proofing what you had in mind for your work of art home.
I thought that you would like that Helen 🤣

@@helenbailey8419 I am a bit shocked - how has Mark made it so bad? He is a shocker!

It feels more like a shed of shame. Now that I have glass in my kitchen windows I can see it and it's a hideous sight.

It's a risky business ☺️
Love the wall lights. They will look stunning on aged mirrors
I feel really excited, just at the thought of progressing with the bedroom.
We need a tour of your house x
OK, I promise to show you around soon. Or at least I will show you around the downstairs areas. I am too embarrassed to show you the upstairs areas.
Re the light for above the door .Maybe mark could fix a three sided piece of metal or wood to the brick then you could fix the light bracket to that ?
Yes, there is definitely be a solution like that which we could do. We're just holding out for the real deal ☺️
Love the wooden candlestick lamp bases...rich.opulent with patina.Mahogany?
I agree Helen. They were a great find and what a bargain - £1 each!

Yes, I know I can get one made. It's just not a priority at the moment so I'm hoping to find a budget friendly original one ☺️
Oh yes, much better idea. x

Take that lamp to a metal engineer and get him to make you the kind of bracket you need ….. 👨🏭
One day we will sort it out. It's just not a priority at the moment 😊
Could a black smith sort out the bracket for the outside light? You've probably thought of this though.

@@elegantlyknackeredstyle Makes sense.
@@helenbailey8419 ☺️
It might be worth asking a blacksmith to make you a bracket?
yes. That is something we can do if we draw a blank 😊
Hard to choose between the wall lights.
It will all become clear, I'm sure. We just need to start the bedroom and then I will know which ones to choose.
